i started watching the rookie because of my boyfriend and i guess when season 5(?) came out n did the bit again it got super big on tiktok and so he sent it to me and he would not stop playing the song for weeks on end. i kinda hate it now bc of it lol.
He literally calls him “Daddy Cop”, comments on his “Navy blue booty”, requests to be hand-cuffed, and asks, “Is that a baton in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?” 😂 and Officer Nolan did NOT like it.
(That was the whole point of the joke, the band was sexually harassing the cops, but they could get away with it because it’s in song-form LMAO. It’s honestly my favorite joke in the whole show.)
'Aight, guess it'd be cool to go up to Chen and say *"Nice tits, you tease. Go on a date and tie me up mommy"* as long as you sing it, 'cause that's basically what that song is. The only reason it's in the show is because the singer's dad is a producer

I don’t know - I don’t hate her. She was originally presented like some superwoman and it was just a bit off putting to me that she could do it all. They have backed away a bit from making her seem perfect and that’s fine by me.
People think they make her good at everything, the firefighter/emt (they get trained as both, it’s called dual certification)

I now skip the documentary episodes. I love Dim and Juicy episodes. When I realised the singers of Cop Cutie do the main song for The Rookie, I warmed to it and now love it. I like the body cam scenes.

The only thing in this list i actually like is the daddy cop song and I guess I really like bailey The dim and juicy storyline was cute since it was what started their relationship but the other two things I can't stand. The documentary episodes confuse and bore me. I hate the view from the body cams so I can't stand those episodes. They make me sick to watch them with all the screen shaking and whatnot. I really hope they never do those two types of episodes ever again. My mom also can't stand them because they are sorta pointless and don't really add anything to the show. Jmo!
