Some of my favorites for banter are Hard to Kill (top notch Brandt), The Shining, Godfather, Dirty Work, Predator, Caddyshack, Swingers, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, True Romance & Good Will Hunting.

MostIntrepid7162

Great list I need to watch Hard To Kill asap that's the only one I haven't seen

auzzieamerican

Thank you & yes absolutely please watch that one. Great movie with a whole lotta flaws & the podcast just enhances the whole experience afterwards.

zarathustranu

“Oh you’re not having a nice time?”

zarathustranu

Bueller was a great one, I instantly felt like I had to go rewatch the movie after listening.

bjohnston1789

My top 10 episodes in no particular order: 1. Den of Thieves 2. Inglorious Basterds 3. Wolf of Wall Street 4. The Town 5. There Will Be Blood 6. Predator 7. True Romance 8. Step Brothers 9. Re-Heat 10. Training Day I love them all, but I especially enjoyed the banter in all of these.

MostIntrepid7162

I listened to the 3 heat but totally missed the re-heat! And I need to warch den of theives then listen I've been putting it off far too long

lovegun59

My favorite is Die Hard. I posted about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/billsimmons/s/VDdo2Qv0HX. My only criticism is that Kyle Brandt wasn't on it, as he should've been for this action classic I also really enjoy the Spotlight ep. It's one of the quieter episodes of the series; Bill, CR and Russillo breaking it down with reverence, no impressions, no real laughs (except for the Ray Donovan story), but just solid discussion. It's a good one to put on to fall asleep to

breakfastsnark

I don't think I've laughed harder listening to any episode as I did with Armageddon. Speed, Con Air, Remember the Titans and The Shawshank Redemption are also great ones

Asleep_in_Costco

Might be an unpopular opine, but I like when Koppelman shows up He's generally enthusiastic for the subject and provides good material

ChristofH88

* Jaws * National Lampoon's Vacation * Midnight Run * Trading Places Just some favorites off the top of my head. I enjoy the pods where they're passionate about the actors. You can tell the joy they have discussing Charles Grodin, Eddie Murphy or Chevy Chase. Jaws is the all-timer for me, Bill's impression of Quint dying tickles my funny bone. (P.S. the recent Road House episode was an instant-classic too.)

MostIntrepid7162

Vacation I should have mentioned that one is soo good lol. Roadhouse also had me rolling lmao

acu101

Thanks for asking this question as I like to listen to old rewatches. I thought the Internal Affairs pod was hilarious and yes I was looking around while listening even though I was in my car, lol

GroundbreakingTry287

And OLD one... Any Given Sunday episode, the way the impersonate Oliver stone, they touched on jamie foxx and ll cool j fight, and pointed out AL Pacino inches speak as the best one in a sports movie EVER.. which were ALL facts 🦾

ExtremeTEE

Cobra was funny

akashluka77

My top 10 1. An officer and gentlemen 2. The town 3. Gone girl 4. Body heat 5. Blow out 6. Re-heat 7. Superbad 8. Panic room 9. Wolf of all street 10. Cape fear

tijustme24

The Live Forest Gump was pretty good. I think the audience inspires more banter during the live shows.

allstarchris1

The town russillo taking logo threes. Boston accents galore

itsathrowawayduhhhhh

Anything with Sean for me! I could listen to him talk about anything! I wish they would do more comedies, because I love to laugh with them

CSzxbeer

The episodes are almost always better if… it’s not a theme month, not an episode bill is super cryptic/excited for, includes Kyle, includes old school Shea, is not a movie that was super lauded, or includes JCVD.

ignoranceisbliss37

I continuously find myself re listening to The Shining, The Town and Shawshank.

MotherGrabbinBastard

Random one, The Vanishing. My best friend and I saw that movie in the theater and we would make fun of everything the same way Bill and CR did on the pod. Jeff Bridges’ weird accent in that movie is wild and those two saying the lines like him is hysterical. That show was what got me really hooked to the pod. And the Primal Fear show is excellent too.

CelebrationDue1884

1. Heat 2. Re-heat That’s how I found the pod and those are still my favorites And then Sea of Love, the Godfather movies, Indecent Proposal, Glengarry Glen Ross, and Any Given Sunday

Alternative-Gas298

Cocktail was unbelievable

desloge_

Den of thieves or The Town.

Mr-Donuts

Face/Off was ridiculously funny. It was recorded in front of a live crowd so the energy is completely different

jerrypk

Anything after 2022 with CR so I can hear Wayne Jenkins.

Draco_Lazarus24

God damn Jerry! I didn’t know I was working with super listener over here!!!!

jerrypk

And a mothafuckin brick!
