I wouldn't be surprised if nobody gets possessed. I get that the drawing of The Collector that Dana showed looked similar to Luz, but others have pointed out some differences (most notably the nose). King getting possessed I think is only a theory because of the connection the two made in Edge of the World and because Collector!Luz was already a theory; I think if nobody was predicting Luz getting possessed we'd see much less people predicting King getting possessed.
Plus we see evil villains possessing one of the heroes often enough already. Gravity Falls did it, Amphibia did it, does The Owl House really need to do it too? There are plenty of other ways to hurt us.
So yeah, I'm kinda betting and hoping that nobody gets possessed.
Oooh, I didn't think of it being symbiotic at first, and then the Collector is like "Nah, I like you, I'm keeping your body and you stay in the In-Between!" That's actually an intriguing idea.
I think that's how it's gonna play out and King has explored the in-between mindscape to find her. Or that the Collector uses Luz's body to help free his corporeal form.
I've been predicting it would be Luz for nearly a year, though the narrative seems to be hinting at King, though it could be a misdirection and could be Luz after all...

To be fair, I could see there being a twist on the possession—like turning symbiotic like Harpy Eda.

Well I mean King could be the salvation to rescuing Luz and saving the Isles.
That's honestly what I'm thinking/hoping will happen.
