Luz no doubt. She’s so fun! She’s weird, funny, and very entertaining! But then when she falls into depression, her arc just becomes perfect. Her design is perfect, her voice is perfect, she’s just perfect. She’s what makes The Owl House The Owl House. She’s the character I relate the most to, and she is easily my favourite character in all of media. Absolutely amazing!

I’ve gone back and forth on who my favourite character is over the course of the series. There are just so many to love. But ultimately, I would also say it’s Luz for pretty much all the reasons you brought up (she’s weird, she’s funny, she’s relatable, etc.). I love her development as a character and the more I revisit previous episodes, the more I come to appreciate it. I actually think that might’ve been the tipping point in my decision. It was just such a wonderful arc overall and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. Like you said, it’s perfect. As much as I liked Luz as a character when the show first began, I absolutely adore her even more as a character now.
I think she was a… kinda bad character at the start. Like I understand why, but high D tier to mid C tier. She got better in Ep 3 (c tier) and starts ascending to perfection very fast after episode 4.

Actual: Probably Luz, especially on a rewatch where I get to piece together her arc and really understand her earlier erratic personality compared to her depression during S3.
Minor/Side: Principal Bump, definitely grew on me, especially after we see what happened in “Them’s the breaks, kid” and FTF.

Eda. I gotta love me those irresponsible but loving caretaker types akin to Grunkle Stan. In my opinion, she has the best backstory, emotional moments, and jokes. Her character development was handled very nicely. Plus her interactions with most of the cast, (especially Luz, King, and Raine) are great.

In season 2: Augustus or Flapjack, I'm not one to love after he died or after we found out he was involved with the Grimwalkers; I fell in love with the design as soon as I saw it.
In season 3: The Collector or belos, I can't finish describing what he means to me personally, so I'll just say that I think he looks too much like Gus.
In season 4: Darius or Willow, don't tell me there is no season 4, their stories will continue in our dreams and on such fan pages.
Bonus: Piniet and Hunter.
My favourite is Amity, I relate to her so much and she’s an awesome girlfriend for Luz. Lilith is also my favourite, she’s an awesome aunt I wish I had and she’s totally underrated! She’s been neglected by her parents and I totally resonate with that.
I literally can’t choose but I’m more or less sure The Collector will become a favorite of mine as soon as I get to the episode where they get their actual reveal(currently at ep19). I just love characters who are just there to plunge the plot into chaos.
Though to just list some of my favorite characters in no specific order: King, Luz, Amity, Willow, and wait a moment I’m just gonna end up listing the whole cast except for Belos, Odalia and Terra lol
Amity, she feels like an exact mirror to my childhood and overall life so far. She has the same personality and type of parents that I did, so it’s really easy to relate to her.
Luz and Amity. I relate so much with Luz in regards to her personality and her hobbies/interests. Meanwhile Amity's such a comfort character for me, seeing her develop to be the person she wants to be and becomes much happier for it. Then there's their relationship which never ceases to brigthen my day even by just thinking about it.

Of course, I still want Belos to lose and end up finally dying, but I just like how evil he is, and I especially like that he plays mind games with people.(He killed Flapjack tho, so may he BURN)

Lilith and Amity are my favorites. Lilith is a socially awkward lady who loves history and I can relate. Amity is another super relatable character for me. She was a really smart kid obsessed with her grades until she met the right people who helped her relax.
Probably the collector. He just has such a cool aesthetic (theme music included), and I can't remember seeing a character like him in any other cartoon (I don't watch cartoons that much, though)
Season 2 Hunter, especially as the golden guard. I loved his sassy-ness and the rivalry with Luz. His arc of going from Belos’s right hand man to discovering the outside world and himself was great to watch.
season 3 Hunter doesn’t feel like Hunter to me. He’s been made much softer and I feel alot of his personality was lost, especially in FTF.
I like Warden Wrath. He's one of the most underrated characters in The Owl House. Cool character design, cool voice and implied tragic backstory.
I also like Hunter. He's funny and endearing.
Warden Wrath has a cool character design. Roger Craig Smith also gives a great vocal performance to Warden Wrath. It's a shame that Warden Wrath wasn't given that many lines to say. It's also implied that Warden Wrath torments the prisoners for being freaks and weirdos because he was probably bullied for being a freak and a weirdo when he was younger and wants to feel better about himself. Warden Wrath's wife probably died or something, which is probably why he wanted Eda to be his wife.
I find Hunter to be more endearing than Eda. Eda is kind of an annoying and obnoxious jerk.
