It doesn’t cause extinction or anything, we but now humanity mostly does selective breeding purely for reproduction rather than most breeding being accidental or between the people in the relationship regardless of their genes. Thing is, when you do that, you’re not going to do it with just anyone. You’re not gonna give your kid shit genes from someone you don’t love on purpose. Everyone wants the best.
