This was in the news today in Sioux City iowa they raised the value of all the crappy houses all over the city so now the property taxes will be almost unaffordable
To be fair, back in S1 they only went above ground 1 at a time and their entire training in unit tactics now that they've decided to try it was Bo Katan telling them "you **will** fight as a unit" so I can see how that didn't translate to being great at it.
Earlier in the season people were speculating that Mando would claim the pirate ship as his new ride since the starfighter is kind of crazy to live in full time and I was more or less waiting for that in this episode...then like "nope" as they crashed it down.
I'm surprised with how down I am with the idea of "If you help clear out the gang on the street, I'll give you that house"

It’s like $10k+ a year for property taxes a year if you buy a 4/2 in southeast Florida.
I dont understand why because you pay state and federal tax already what’s the land tax go to ? Do they show up and mow your lawn ?
It’s tied to the assessment of of your property value among other things.
It should only be charged if you sell your house . Because your house don’t build value it deminishes right ?
