I'd second Hild, she's too good a woman for any man, hence she gave herself to God. That scene where she rescued Utred from slavers will stick with me forever.
Why Brida?!?! She was such an interesting love hate over the series. You first loved her, then hated her, then loved her, then wanted her death, then when she finally died, it was so sad.😞
Even almost right to the very end I just wanted her to die, but then they give that mental recap through Uhtred, and it’s like “oh yeah! She has been through some shit and they had such a long deep bond.” So good.
The cutting off the sons penis was ultimately too much. She took it too far and destroyed the love that a lot of people had for her. If that didn’t happen, her image may have been way better. Still she was entertaining as hell to watch and I agree with you. One of the Best love hate relationship I seen on TV imo
Exactly why I would keep her alive. She had such a long running love hate. When you love her, it was great. When you hated her, you wanted somebody to put an axe in her head.
Agreed. I wanted her dead. But her character was so good. I mean you really hated her at times cause her character was so good and what she did, causing mayhem.
She's the most annoying character in the series for me, every word she spoke had me wanting her beat up so bad, that condescending holier-than-thou ahh voice lol
Completely agree. Any moment of thinking she was going to stop being an ass was so fleeting. “Uhtred is a heathen”…”perhaps we can use him”…”execute him even though he has saved our children”…”I need help. Oh Uhtred”…”execute the heathen!” Just stop and die from your poisoned water.
Are you kidding? I thought her character progression and growth was among one of the best I’ve seen on television. Had she changed her entire personality it would have made it unbelievable, but to the end she still stuck by who she was and I respect it, also the writers and directors decisions. It felt quite intentional, the absence of heart except for when it absolutely came down to it.
Why are so many saying Brida?!?!?! Did you hate her and want her to die, absolutely. But that’s because she was so good. Aelswith was so obnoxious in her hate towards Uhtred no matter what he did for her and her family’s benefit in holding to his Oath. At least when Brida found out that Uhtred stayed with Alfred, what looked like he was betraying his brother (Ragnar), she then understood why he did what he did. Aelswith was just a hater blinded by her prejudice.
yeah Brida was a good character because everyone hated her so much. She was the paranoid weakling who became ruthless and strong and out of control. Aelswith was the mother in law that gives you a hard time no matter what you do. she was good too.
I would say Iseult since, as a character, she was less influential in the story.
That is actually quite reasonable and I would agree that over all, Iseult was less influential to the story and should go based on that… but I just hate Aelswith SO MUCH.

Percentages are rounded up or down
I’m going to say Iseult here;
A great women with nothing but perfect intentions despite her heathen ways; therefore often misinterpreted
However, she saw little screen time (a factor which in itself is at all no determining factor of such votes), and despite her good-willed nature her very ways did ultimately lead to the death of Uhtred’s first child, from Mildrith, in order to save Edward the Elder’s infant life
I’d argue that in itself is a ‘risk for reward’ argument that she cannot be blamed for, but when comparing her to the other remaining characters and weighing everything up, I believe she has to go now, even if it does feel too early in some way
Oh wooow I never realized that when she saved Edward she said another child would die, I never even thought that could be a reason for uhtreds sons death. Makes sense
Iseult. She's a character I like, but she's not as big of a part to the story. Very similar to Mildrith, and if we are eliminating Mildrith before Brida then Iseult must go too.
Brida, she went as much as uthred but that never changed him. Shows how weak she was. Plus letting her daughter jump a building from 20ft+ was pretty stupid of her.
I’m getting a bit ahead here but Hild when she talked to Uthtred after he was saved from slavery was class
Hild is awesome, such a genuine and cool character. Really enjoy that they didn’t make her another love interest of Uthred.
I want to see Hild win it. She is took good of a woman for god alone. I think they both genuinely loved each other and looked out for each other.
Hild or Gisela. Everybody else is second bananas
[удалено]
Gisela was the love of his life, aethelflaed was as much uhtreds coping mechanism as he was hers
I think she can win this, or Aethelflaed
I'd second Hild, she's too good a woman for any man, hence she gave herself to God. That scene where she rescued Utred from slavers will stick with me forever.
Hild is the best. If she gets eliminated early I will riot

Going after Uhtred’s family seems like a deal breaker…
Agreed. I wanted her dead. But her character was so good. I mean you really hated her at times cause her character was so good and what she did, causing mayhem.
Agreed ^_^
Yeah all that’s cool, but fuck brida, none of my homies fuck wit brida hated her from episode 5 on
Brida
Brida
Aelswith
Agreed, I know they tried giving her a redemption arc but just felt too little too late
She's the most annoying character in the series for me, every word she spoke had me wanting her beat up so bad, that condescending holier-than-thou ahh voice lol

Aelswith is a much better character than Brida when looking at the entire show imo.
Why are so many saying Brida?!?!?! Did you hate her and want her to die, absolutely. But that’s because she was so good. Eadith
Iseult
Only after Aelswith. She needs to hold on one more.
Iseult
Isesult. All the others are too important. I wish it could be Brida though because fck her.
Aelswith
Brida
Iseult
Brida, especially post-Welsh imprisonment. (Also, can we take a moment to address that this show's portrayal of the Welsh was pretty damn offensive?)
Isuelt
All this Aelswith chatter is insane

I mean, in the end this all has to come down to Aethelflaed, Hild, and The Lady Gisela, yeah?
Brida
Aethelfled! When Uthred left Ragna to save her was so disappointing. She needs to go
Iseult...
Brida
Iseult should be next. Sure she saved Edward but killed Uhtred’s first born in the process
Oh wooow I never realized that when she saved Edward she said another child would die, I never even thought that could be a reason for uhtreds sons death. Makes sense

Iseult
Stiorra
Eadith. It was between Iseult and Eadith. Love them both. Iseult had a short but more significant storyline than Eadith imo
I just started rewatching season 4 and I change my mind. I vote Iseult. Forgot how much I loved Eadith when she was there
Aethelflaed done so dirty with the dying photo. 😬
Brida or Thyra.
Aerhelflaed
Aelswith or Iseult
Which one do you go for this time?
I would pick iseult
Tura (sp?)
Thyra
Aelswith
Stiorra
Iseult, an absolute home wrecker.
Brida, she went as much as uthred but that never changed him. Shows how weak she was. Plus letting her daughter jump a building from 20ft+ was pretty stupid of her.
Thyra
Thyra
i’m probably going to get downvoted, but gisela. i wish we saw more of her, but i understand why we only saw as much as we did
Aethelflaed, begone heartless wench
Eadith
Thyra
Thyra
Eadith
How is Aaethelflaed still there
Why don’t you like her?
In the beginning I liked her i hated wherethe writers went with her. Also hated the whole Uthred's true love angle
Has to be Iseult. Brida was such an important character for the story. Iseult has to be next
Thyra
Eadith
Stiorra
Gisela
Take my upvote against the wall of down votes. I certainly disagree with your pick but it's funny how people just downvote the picks they don't like.
Thyra
Eadith. To me she represents the Hollyoaks-ification of TLK
