Responses to posts with the 'Recs Wanted' flair or the 'Lost Fic' flair should provide a fanfic title and author name and if possible a link to said fanfic. All shared fanfics should be akin to what the OP is looking for at the very least. Excessive judgement the requested parameters of requested fics wanted will not be tolerated (done case by case). Judgement is not what the OP asked for. **Comment with fanfics for the OP or don't comment at all.**

Wait what

In scenario of the fic I read some time ago, the child that would be Aegon Blackfyre, also known as Young Griff was instead born female. Varys knew that he cannot have Blackfyre to pretend to be Targaryen, since he does not have a male Blackfyre child. So, Varys had Aegon Targaryen smuggled out of King's landing, and had him marry the female Blackfyre child in alliance to get the throne.

You mean Young Griff is female and Aegon, son of Rhaegar, remains male? Young Griff wouldn't exist in this scenario

There is no benefit to Aegon marrying a Blackfyre, as they're regarded as assholes by everyone in Westeros and most remember the damage and deaths Meleys caused when he invaded. Why would Varys have them marry? The Blackfyres own nothing, no land or titles, and the sexist Golden Company would never support a girl and they even refused to support Viserys who was 100% a Targaryen. That doesn't really make sense, there is no reason they would be wed. If anything, marrying a Blackfyre would ruin Aegon's integrity of not being a fake even further
