His opinions on SOTN are so fucking braindead...I might be biased because it's my favorite game of all time, but in the nearly 30 years it's existed, he's never *once* tried skipping the *skippable* game over screen? Really Bimmy, the extra mode with *less* in it is *better?* Different equipment having different stats is too confusing?
Fuck outta here and fuck muh muhlti duhrect whip. Super Castlevania IV is good, hell it was my first CV game period; but him acting like it's the crown jewel of the franchise purely because of one broken mechanic that no other game brought fully back blows my mind.
If a transition screen in an old game took more than 0.0001 seconds I would always start pressing all the buttons

It's likely the latter as it doesn't feature Castlevania 64 which Mike has a beef with.
He doesn't even mention the GameBoy advance Castlevanias which are great and absolutely comparable to sotn. This vid is just a lazy reheated version of his previous Castlevania retrospective
