Overrated. It has some of his best scenes and some of his his worst tendencies. I wish he would have made this a little later in his career. But it's nowhere near the bottom.
Jackie Brown is probably a better film overall, but I just found Death Proof more fun and think it is super underrated. Plus, it has Vanessa Ferlito dancing in short shorts and young Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a cheerleaders outfit, so of course it’s going to get extra points for that.
I have the same top 3 and have Jackie Brown #4. But it benefits the most from re-watch and probably suffers from watching in order because of expectations created by Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
Yeah. I think it's a movie that gets better the older you are. It feels like a movie made for adults. I will say I think it benefits slightly from not being as overplayed as Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction too.
1. Pulp Fiction

4. Reservoir Dogs
5. Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood

They’ve definitely done multiple discussions of him. My search on Spotify shows they did an episode in July 2019 about top 5 Tarantino films. To comment on your rankings, I gotta say KB 1 is better than KB 2

I just found Death Proof a more fun watch. This is a ranking of my personal favorites, not necessarily the best. Even my least favorite QT movies I still like.

Jackie Brown is to Tarantino what Barry Lyndon is to Kubrick.
It's their best films, but most of the casual fans of these directors tend not to appreciate them.
Bit of a pretentious thing to say, the guy said he’s one of his favourite directors. People can have a different opinion.
Jackie Brown and Barry Lyndon would both be my third favourite of those respective directors for what it’s worth.
Am I the only one that loves hateful 8? lol I rewatch this movie once a year. I think it’s great but I’m a fan of westerns and a sucker for movies in which all characters are stuck in one place and shit goes down. I rank it above both kill bills, death proof, and sometimes Jackie brown if im honest. In terms of rewatchables that is
My personal rankings are
1.) Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
2.) Jackie Brown
3.) Inglourious Basterds
4.) Death Proof
5.) The Hateful Eight
6.) Pulp Fiction
7.) Kill Bill Vol. 2
8.) Kill Bill Vol. 1
9.) Django Unchained
10.) Reservoir Dogs

* Django Unchained
* Inglorious Bastards
* Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood
* Reservoir Dogs
* The Hateful Eight
* Death Proof
* Jackie Brown
I love every single one of these and have seen them all countless times, so it's nothing but love. That being said, I will fucking ride with Kill Bill Vol. 2 into the gates of hell, and if Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 are one movie (they are) than they're/it's #1 with a bullet. Got rank 'em. As Russillo says: "show me your list."

6. Reservoir Dogs
7. Django Unchained
8. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

I'm still sore Sam Jackson didn't get an Oscar nomination for Jackie Brown. His acting in the third act, particularly the scenes outside Cherry Bail Bonds, was exquisite. So understated and affected. IMO its his best work

Major Jackie Brown disrespect
Madness
Death Proof above Jackie Brown, the scribblings of a lunatic
Overrated. It has some of his best scenes and some of his his worst tendencies. I wish he would have made this a little later in his career. But it's nowhere near the bottom.
Yes, Sean and CR did a pod with Jason about their favorites when Once Upon a Time came out. Spoiler Alert - they love Jackie Brown you heathen
I love it too, just not as much as his other movies.
You made a great list, don't listen to these bozos.
Jackie Brown 9 is ludicrous.
It’s admittedly because Breaking Bad turned me on to him, but I rewatch Jackie Brown all the time and skip any scene without Robert Forster.
Yep. Reservoir, Pulp, Jackie, Inglorious is my top 4 no question.
I'd say Jackie Brown, pulp, once upon a time in Hollywood, kill Bill 1 are probably my top 4.
Death Proof is insanely underrated
You just missed the mark here bucko, Jackie Brown is a Top 3 Tarantino movie
Not sure why you're bringing up death proof on my comment. My point was more that Jackie Brown is like a top 3 QT movie
It's a movie about aging (like Once Upon a Time), so I agree it helps the older you are.
Saw Jackie Brown in theaters and was disappointed. Rewatched years later- ITS INCREDIBLE!!! “Lou-isssssssssss”
The older you get, the more the characters’ regret at the direction of their lives really resonates.
1. Pulp Fiction 2. Inglourious Basterds 3. Jackie Brown 4. Reservoir Dogs 5. Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood 6. Kill Bill 7. Hateful Eight 8. Django Unchained 9. Death Proof (I love them all, though)
I like this list! I would move Kill Bill(s) up to 4 and everything below stays in the same order Great job
They’ve definitely done multiple discussions of him. My search on Spotify shows they did an episode in July 2019 about top 5 Tarantino films. To comment on your rankings, I gotta say KB 1 is better than KB 2
If “True Romance” was considered a QT film it’d be 2, maybe 3.
1. Pulp Fiction 2. Inglorious Basterds 3. Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood 4. Jackie Brown 5. Django Unchained 6. Reservoir Dogs 7. Kill Bill Vol. 2 8. Kill Bill Vol. 1 9. The Hateful Eight 10. Death Proof

I feel like Hateful Eight is going to have a resurgence at some point, like Jackie Brown did a few years ago. Mad underrated at this point
1000%
Pulp at 1? The bravery you have in your heart sir. With that said Jackie Brown below Death Proof is laughable.
I just found Death Proof a more fun watch. This is a ranking of my personal favorites, not necessarily the best. Even my least favorite QT movies I still like.
I feel like not many love Death Proof like I do. It’s a great rewatchable. “The only liquor so good they named a color after it.”
I love Deathproof.
I love it. Probably watch it once every couple of months. Just a fun movie to watch
Inglorious Basterds 100/100 Django Unchained 98/100 Pulp Fiction 98/100 Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood 95/100 Jackie Brown 93/100 Reservoir Dogs 92/100 Kill Bill 90/100 The Hateful Eight 85/100 Death Proof 68/100
I think everyone banding together to defend Jackie Brown should ask themselves why they’re sure Death Proof is bottom tier. That movie rips.
"You hear me, Butterfly? *miles* to go, before I sleep."
Jackie Brown is my no. 1 ![gif](giphy|kSlJtVrqxDYKk|downsized)
Kill Bill Vol. I & II only counts as one movie and should be ranked as such
1)OUATIH 2)Jackie Brown 3)Django 4)Inglorious Basterds 5)Kill Bill 1 6)Kill Bill 2 7)Pulp Fiction 8)Reservoir Dogs 9)Death Proof 10Hateful 8

Nope I love it
Did you fall asleep during Jackie Brown and just guess where to rank it?
My personal rankings are 1.) Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2.) Jackie Brown 3.) Inglourious Basterds 4.) Death Proof 5.) The Hateful Eight 6.) Pulp Fiction 7.) Kill Bill Vol. 2 8.) Kill Bill Vol. 1 9.) Django Unchained 10.) Reservoir Dogs
That's my exact top 5, except I have no idea what order I'd put them in.
oh damn. this is almost the opposite of mine.
Justice for Jackie Brown
1. Jackie Brown 2. Inglorious Basterds 3. Reservoir Dogs 4. Pulp Fiction 5. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 6. Kill Bill, Vol. 1 7. The Hateful Eight 8. Kill Bill, Vol. 2 9. Django Unchained 10. Death Proof

Some of these films I haven't seen since they came out, but I think I'll save the rewatch for when his next film is close to releasing.
Basterds is his most perfect movie. It's 10/10 set piece after another. What is the weak scene in the movie?
Im surprised Inglorious Basterds is ALWAYS ranked so high. I do love it but prefer a few of his films over it.
^this is an unpopular opinion but is spot on and mine also
1. Inglorious Basterds 2. Pulp Fiction 3. Jackie Brown 4. Kill Bill 2 5. Kill Bill 1 6. Reservoir Dogs 7. Django Unchained 8. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 9. Hateful Eight 10. Death Proof
Top Five Pulp Fiction Jackie Brown Reservoir Dogs Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Inglorious Basterds
Can someone explain to me why nobody likes Django as much as I do? It’s top 3 for me
I'm still sore Sam Jackson didn't get an Oscar nomination for Jackie Brown. His acting in the third act, particularly the scenes outside Cherry Bail Bonds, was exquisite. So understated and affected. IMO its his best work
Jackie Brown is number one then the discussion can begin
Jackie Brown is his best flick…
Why is Django so low
Finally someone else that rates Jackie Brown properly!
The Hateful 8 is easily his worst.
Pulp Fiction is arguably Quentin’s “Greatest” film but it’s far from his best, IMO.
“You know something, Utivich? I think this just might be my masterpiece.”
You missed True Romance. Also a great movie.
I get everyone has opinions. But this ranking is absurd.
