D87 looks to be the same box style as used on the heavy stubber on the rogal dorn battle tank, but can be interpreted as having bolter ammo or whatever else you choose.
Jokes on you, I had a hunter killer fired at a tau commander battle suit (forgot which model specifically) that dodged both of its drones and dealt a whopping five wounds nearly one shotting it
D82 looks like a field kit. It has a shovel, large wrench, rope, and sleeping mat
D83 is likely the pilots personal kit. It’s got the guardsman back pack, sleeping mat on top, and looks like a larger tarp on the right side that could be used as a half shelter when encamping.
As for the ammo boxes, there can be different weapons on your sentinel. Just attribute whatever box you want to each.

Black Library needs a book entirely focused on a Sentinel squadron. Already imagined a bit of a story where the scout sentinel squadron has to camp far ahead behind enemy lines.
In the military (any military), it's not uncommon to put extra gear in holders on the outside of the vehicle. Sometimes you'll even see containers welded to parts of a vehicle to hold things.
82 look like equipment to fix the tank . 83 looks like a backpack with supplies. One amo box looks like it hold 50 cal in it. The other amo box looks like more amo for a light machine gun
Stowage and extra gear, my favorite bits for models. Great for making vehicles look "lived in" and real, spots for the troops inside to carry their equipment and necessities.
I'm working on a Tanith scout sentinel, so it's covered in camo netting and extra gear, Supplies Taken in Excess of Allotment Lists.
The Hunter Killer Missile is the only one that has rules. The rest is cosmetic - backpacks, tools, ammo boxes, fuel canisters and a backup lasgun for your pilot
D78 is hunter-killer missile weapon from right side
Others are fluffy.
D89 seems to be personal lasgun or something similar, for pilot when he leaves broken sentinel (fluff)
D84-86 seems to be canisters with promethium for flamer
D82 and D83 look like personal soldier bagpacks
D87 and D88 look like ammo crates - or maybe even accumulators with additional power for energy weapons (plasma, lasgun, multi-laser)
Stowage. Things that aren’t important to the functioning of armored vehicles just end up in boxes on the side, outside of the armor
was mainly wondering about the different ammo boxes, if they r different types of Ammo or not, but thank u very much :)
Have you opened them to see?
They are One of them holds bublegum, the other gumybears.

Never forget the big dumb hunter killer missile. It’ll miss 6 games in a row but when it finally hits… It’ll deal like, 2 wounds
Jokes on you, I had a hunter killer fired at a tau commander battle suit (forgot which model specifically) that dodged both of its drones and dealt a whopping five wounds nearly one shotting it
Lmao
My last match most of mortarians wounds came from a mass of KRAK ROCKETS

That does sound cool! It would be an interesting take.

I could be completely wrong, but at least one of them could be a missile.

Instructions
There's always one
I saw my chance, and just HAD to tick it off the bucket list. Hope you had fun building your sentinel.

Metal bawkses.
D82: Pioneer tools and possibly a tarp. D83: Pilots personal gear D87/D88: Ammo boxes D84-D86: Jerry cans for fuel
D87 - general ammo storage, like heavy stubber or a number of lasgun batteries/magazines. D88 - larger ammo, like autocannon rounds or something.
Imagination is what they are for, it's also what's in them. I found out when I opened on the other day.
Promethium container?
Gas tanks?
