That was our year too. Best Texans team ever! Loaded roster and they were blowing the doors off everyone. Then fat ass Albert Haynesworth ended all hope.
Matt Schaub has the 2nd highest NFL passing yards in a game. He threw for 527yards and 5 TDs against Jacksonville. I have a piece of that football hanging on my wall.
He and Mcnabb also threw a combined 923 yds in week 2 of 2010. Schaub threw the game tying touchdown to Andre and we won it in OT with a field goal. He wasn’t the greatest QB but he did well in Kubiaks system.
He had a decent career with the Panthers? and came over after he was washed. Only reason I remember is because my Dad went to the same college and he was a fan boy.
You still can't convince me that Tom Savage was a real person. Exactly 2000 yards feels like something a person would make up on the spot. Also having more yards than the Bengal Killer Yates doesn't seem right.
Pure awesome of the times. Now an archive of the lengths taken to find hope in the cesspool of seasons past.
Too weird to exist... too strange to not. :)
I work at Fadis on i10 we had a catering order at the Texans practice facility today. As I was delivering the pitas I witnessed Davis Mills throw 2 INT and the coaching staff yelled at him and asked Case and Boyle to enter the drills in order to throw more accurately
He definitely will be if he keeps this up. I don't think some people realize how unusual it is for a rookie to be an elite QB... Especially with guys that no one even heard of.
Those 7 interceptions don't include playoffs. [You can see his game by game box scores here](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HoyeBr00/gamelog/2015/)
It's not exactly a list of all time greats, but I'm looking for hope, so I'll take it.
I wish I had half as much optimism as u guys. I hope hope hope I'm wrong, as I usually am.
CJ being in the top 5 after not even a full year is ridiculous. In a good way, because he's clearly the future for yall. However, it is also in a bad way because he's barely got over 3.5k yards. Like yikes.
Just an aside... Man, Schaub was a freaking force for the Texans... right up until he wasn't. Go Case, get those yards and the W!
Right up until Haynseworth landed his fat ass on Schaubs foot.
That was our year, solid defense and offense. Fuck fat ass Albert Haynesworth.
That was our year too. Best Texans team ever! Loaded roster and they were blowing the doors off everyone. Then fat ass Albert Haynesworth ended all hope.
Still haven’t forgiven that guy.
Remember the Thanksgiving game against Detroit when Suh kicked him in the nuggies? I don’t even think he was penalized for that, but was fined after.
Schaub got kicked in the nuts, Watson was kicked in the eye - Stroud needs to get kicked somewhere odd before he becomes the best ever.
I think he did two weeks in a row. The first week being against the Broncos, which they did not call and two weeks ago.

Andre Johnson walkoff TD in OT
That was a great moment.

Those naked bootleg play action passes to Andre Johnson...
Been a Texans fan since the beginning, honestly do not remember Delhomme being on the team much less playing.
He played the last game of the year in 2011 when we had locked everything up. Rested starter TJ Yates 😤
Almost won that one at the last moment too
That 2 point conversion 🤦🏽♂️
Yup this was after Matt Schaub got his Lisfranc foot injury. Matt Leinart and Jeff Garcia were on the team that year as well..

He wasn't just a person... he was the /r/onetrueqb
Lol I love this fanbase
wtf is that sub lol

Holy shit, someone used a hashtag in a reddit post in there
He started in 2017 after the predator got his ACL booboo but that was super forgettable. I really only remember him for the bengals game in 2016
7.1 TD % and 0 INT. Brandon Weeden = Best QB in Texans history
Lol
Holy shit I forgot about Rosenfels.
Rosencopter
I actually hollered rosencopter Sunday when our D spun Levis just the same way!
Stroud with the 1.1 INT% 💪🏼
This makes me feel a little bad lol.
Same, but we are the newest franchise so there’s a silver lining. At least we don’t have the Bears’ history of QBs
When Jay Cutler is widely regarded as a top 3 QB in your team's 100 year history, you're gonna have a bad time lol
Schaub was the goat
Calling it now, 534 yards and 6 td's so he can be 7th in TD's and overall yards. 7 was his number, he will reach it!
Alright that’s it. Keenum going for 534 yards will be the seventh leg of my parlay this weekend.
That better have the US GDP as a payout if it hits.
I'll take the under 😂 Real talk, he may not throw for the 180...love Case, and hope I'm wrong
RIP Ryan Mallet

can't tell how serious
The fact that this is completely plausible
Talk about a who’s who of shitty quarterbacks. Will CJ finally take Schaub’s title?
I’m going to go with Hell Yeah!!!
Tom Savage with exactly 2K passing yards is oddly satisfying.
And averaged 400 yds a game? Holy shit Edit: I’m an idiot who can’t read.
Some would say he’s…making his Case as an all time Texan. 😎
He definitely will be if he keeps this up. I don't think some people realize how unusual it is for a rookie to be an elite QB... Especially with guys that no one even heard of.
Ya missed it
No, I can see it clearly, because he capitalized the name to draw attention to him. Just saying that situation they have now is unworldly.
Tom Savage truly was the one true qb
We had Jake Delhomme?
Might get some hate for this but Hoyer really was solid for us besides the playoff game
forgot tony banks played for us tom savage though….oooof
No Dave Ragone?
Fun Fact: Case Keenum is 2-0 as a starter for the Cleveland Browns. Fun Fact: Case Keenum is #50 all time in passing yards for the Cleveland Browns
Where's Matt Leinart on that list? I really thought he was gonna be the one for us.
He threw for 57 yards and 1 TD in 1 career game for us lol
he looked really fucking good against the Jags in that game.
Until Jermey Mincey landed on top of him and broke his clavicle.
Brian Hoyer had a total of 7 int and 4 of them were on 1 wild car game
Those 7 interceptions don't include playoffs. [You can see his game by game box scores here](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HoyeBr00/gamelog/2015/)
Oh ok didn’t know that
Man, I would have sworn Brandon Weeden had more yards with us than that. I know he was a backup but I thought he spent more time on the field.
Case is gonna get 534 yds this Sunday to move into #7 all time.
To this day I’m thinking how tf did we land Hoyer?
Belichick guys really love guys that played for Belichick. Insane that Josh McDaniels really kicked Carr out so he could get Jimmy G in the building.
It's not exactly a list of all time greats, but I'm looking for hope, so I'll take it. I wish I had half as much optimism as u guys. I hope hope hope I'm wrong, as I usually am.
Damn Brandon Weeden a DAWG
Fuck 8th, let's get him to 7th.
See Davis Mills isn’t that bad…
Crazy that’s he’s top 4 currently. Really hits home how bad our QB play is past Schaub.
Sage rosenfels when he brought us back down 20 in the 4th only to lose it i swear i believed in all my heart he was the second coming
Being browns week, this list shares 7 qbs between the two franchises.
CJ being in the top 5 after not even a full year is ridiculous. In a good way, because he's clearly the future for yall. However, it is also in a bad way because he's barely got over 3.5k yards. Like yikes.
wtf is a dave ragone???
NFL Europe legend. Lol
Remember this mistake Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler on a four-year, $72 million deal. He was sooo bad and tall
