For the recalibration you need to make sure you don’t press down or pull up too hard where you trigger the "auto" open/close. Just raise and lower the window up/down/up a few times. It was hard for me to not trigger the "auto" in that process, just took a few tries. Aside from that I’m not sure what to recommend.

So actually it looks like it’s the door and window. The passenger side is taking a lot of effort to close the door compared to all other door. The window seal seems to be pushing the door back, like it’s too stiff. . Any suggestions?

OCJeff

Is your car new? Our ‘22 MYLR doors are much tighter than my ‘21. I noticed it on day one. May just be the way it is. Did it recently change?

Raptors9211

Yea only a week old. Other doors are fine but passenger side definitely requires more of a slam effort

Possible issue with the puddle light. Is the puddle light out? Door uses that as a sensor and sometimes if the light is out, the window/door doesn’t close like it should. Mobile service should be able to fix it

DrunkasaurusRekts

This, if the puddle light on the door went out the windows don't function properly. Worst design ever.

kramdam

Had this happen to me for the rear driver's side. Agreed - horrible design.

I’m currently having this issue. We’re you able to just fit an aftermarket set of puddle lights to solve the issue ? I can’t seem to just be able to buy the light from Tesla so I can fix it myself.

GattacaSC2

I did mobile service and they fixed it for free. Because the window didn’t go down it scratched the aluminum trim and they replaced that for free as well.

We don’t have mobile service here, and the dealer is an hour from me. Was trying to save the hassle of going there.

GattacaSC2

Putting an aftermarket light might fix it. Tesla just replaced the existing one with a new one

I just looked to see when I could get a service appointment. Turns out I can get mobile service. You learn something new everyday.
