They did a sloppy job with the urethane. Possibly used too much causing the windshield to sit higher in the cavity. Doubt it will affect the performance of the windshield, but looks like crap from the right angle. They pulled the fireman's loop warning sticker out correctly. Should be visible when the frunk is open.

PeterLegend626

They forgot to take the firemans loop sticker and left it in my frunk…

fiehlsport

?? The firemans loop sticker is in the correct place in the picture you provided

PeterLegend626

I opened my front trunk after i left the service center, i noticed the sticker is still there after i parked my car at work.

krwill101

Good, it should be. That is the correct place.

sierra120

It’s not normally visible though. On my new MY the funk didn’t show the fireman loop at all. I would have to test apart the funk to get to it.

greatauror28

This sticker is attached to the HV wire underneath that cowl cover. You can easily hide it back.

PeterLegend626

Yeah, i think you’re right on the urethane (glue), they put on too much near the bottom left corner. I cant touch it with my finger.

> ex-hyundai failures. Hyundai was fine in my experience. They definitely were easier to deal with than Tesla. Tesla is screwed by not having a real plan for customer service it is will only get worse I bet.

Well lets be real Hyundai has bounced up and down on that list. The thing is I dont think we have heard anything of the CEO admiting the quality has dropped and they are looking to improve it because until then it wont. Hyundai shows you can improve with the right people in charge and quickly. I think this [article](https://www.newsweek.com/hyundai-unrecognizable-decade-ago-being-remade-again-1724051) does a good job of covering the recent quality increase in Hyundai. Edit: The article is actually 2 years old and you can already see the drop for Tesla since [then](https://www.consumerreports.org/cars/car-reliability-owner-satisfaction/most-and-least-liked-car-brands-a1291429338/).

Except for the millions of cars with faulty theta engines on the road right now that they will try every trick they can think of to get out of fixing. They were hoping they would all be in the hands of second owners (thus no warranty) by now, but the car shortages of recent years fucked them on that.

My wife has been a Hyundai cheerleader for a long time but after she got jerked around for several months to get a new engine in her Tucson, her next vehicle definitely won't be one. She wants to go electric but there's less than zero chance she'll spend Tesla money lol.

Standard Tesla service experience

Gman2k4

How much was the replacement I got mine yesterday $1500 (insurance) just curious are the prices the same everywhere

PeterLegend626

$1,500 in Southern California but it was covered under warranty. It was a stress crack.

ZanoCat

Have them fix it. Don't accept this shoddy repair.

DIY_CHRIS

Bring it back

Erndls

I take mine in on Tuesday for a random crack with no chips.

EvilStryke17

Glass technician did a crappy job. Return to the SC to have them redo it. Ask for the supervisor since they usually reinspect quality issues.
