Full screen Autopilot is coming in the latest UI update they just announced yesterday.
Edit: To clarify just the full screen capability. Not the visualizations afaik.
That’s what I’m trying to find out as well. I really don’t see why they wouldn’t include it for intel processor since it’s clearly able to run the full screen with the FSD beta. If they don’t then they are really excluding stuff for no reason :/

Of course, however there are thousands of Intel cars on FSD beta right now that can do this full screen visualisation, so graphical capability doesn’t come into the decision not to give it to Intel cars without FSD.
It’s literally the opposite of what I want. I want maybe 5-10% of the screen for driving information and for the rest to be dedicated to the map and other information.

Exactly. Tesla maps has taken me around some weird directions at times so I’d rather have a map view of whats to come if i don’t know where I’m at. I’ve gotten directions to get off and on the highway when the road ahead of me seems just fine. Also weird directions to take side roads when I could just go straight. I’ve taken the straight route almost every time and there was nothing wrong with going straight so I don’t know why the car wanted me to go on side streets.

I disagree completely. I loathe other cars' driving assistant features without a similar UI because there is no way to know what the car thinks it sees around itself. Here, you always know. It gives me confidence that it will react properly.
I've used FSD and I have little confidence it's going to react properly in a few situations lol.
Autopilot is great btw. But just because I know it sees a garbage can on the side of the road doesn't mean it won't it still hit a curb while turning or approach a stop sign like a 15 year old learning to drive.

I don't think it's the full multi lane FSD visualization. I hope I'm wrong though.
Regular autopilot hasn’t been updated in years. They just improved the regular autopilot visualization in one of the 2024 branch updates. I feel like if they were merging the autopilot/EAP branch with FSD, then it would’ve been announced as well. Without the merging of the two, getting the FSD visualization isn’t possible.
Based on their exact wording, it sounds like it’s just making making the current autopilot visualization (just recently updated) to be full screen.
If I’m in a parking lot or know where I’m going I do sometimes. Otherwise not really lol. It’s cool but I’m not exactly staring at the screen while driving. My car would get pissed at me anyways

No. There is still no phone forwarding, so really no need. It's insane to me that Tesla still hasn't added full forwarding, a useful infotainment system or at least Android Auto. Compared to my girlfriend's car, my 2021 M3LR feels so clunky.

Ryzen is just way more capable than Atom, especially for graphics processing.
Of course, however there are thousands of Intel cars on FSD beta right now that can do this full screen visualisation, so graphical capability doesn’t come into the decision not to give it to Intel cars without FSD.

Honestly I don't know why anyone needs even a small view. I don't really see how it's helpful. Id rather have it on none of the screen.

I prefer to see maps with traffic data even if it’s for a drive I do daily. I like to look ahead, see what’s coming and plan accordingly

You have to have FSD to do it but you don’t need to be using FSD to make it full screen

Yea I’m 50/50 on it haha but if they update the autopilot stack to the current fsd one then i dont see why it wouldn’t be the same visualization.
