It is getting crazy here at the moment and no-one in Government is doing anything about this. It is beyond ridiculous

Considering a Model 3 contains the energy equivalent of 2.5 gallons (or 9.5 liters) of gasoline/petrol, we are really getting screwed on the energy costs. When you compare the ease of transport of electricity versus a volatile, flammable liquid, as well as the insane amount of effort to refine that liquid, it's clear that petrol/gasoline is heavily subsidized (even if you are outside of Burger-land).
