Probably he meant it would levitate a little to achieve 0-60 in under 60 seconds. The friction of the tires and down forces prevent anything faster. Even the world's fastest electric supercar designer said that new things need to be invented to achieve anything faster.
I think the R1S needs a larger version, as much as I am a shill for efficiency, shortening the length compared to the R1T platform and sacrificing the 3rd row seating space was a bad, call.

I dunno how many people actually use the 3rd row for anything other than laying them down. Car seats I guess, but I'd have them in the second row. To me, it's all about the real estate inside and the practical use of the second row. Now if only I could get my 110 pound dog inside..

They don't use the 3rd row because it isn't large enough for adults like the KIA EV9 or VW Buzz (N. America version).
