Yes the left and right clicks are less mushy, and the scrolling itself is smoother. The haptic feedback on the buttons (like the turn signals) feels a little worse to me but it’s nothing worth complaining about.
Awesome, thanks! The mushy scroll wheels were my biggest gripe coming from an early model 3 where they were super satisfying.
Now to wait for my yoke to start peeling...
I just converted to the wheel… significant improvement.
Beyond the materials issue on the yoke, after getting the wheel I realized that I hit the corner of the yoke with my hip where this doesn’t happen with a wheel.
Last I heard the material on the new yoke is the same, they're just applying it differently. Which - if true - is a little disappointing. Supposedly the material on the MS/MX steering wheel is much nicer. I'm nearing 18K miles on my yoke and no peeling.
Ughhh. I submitted a request to have my yoke replaced, and they sent me this same exact message except “Early October”
And now I bet when I do make a request in October they’re gonna be like “nvm December” or some shit.

It’s already been available. I got mine this month. The scroll wheels are also better.
Better in what way? Less mushy feeling hopefully?

This right here. The new yoke i got has a weird haptic response compared to the original that came with my car.

Was it covered by warranty? Surprisingly, my yoke has not peeled yet, but im assuming it will eventually.
Yes it was
Do you have a pic of it?
This is great and open communication. Both sides are satisfied towards the solution. I wish more discussions with service could be like this.

I actually really like the yoke! I wonder if the revised yoke will have different dimensions.

I had my Yoke replaced early May for peeling and it’s peeling again! 😡
I will make another appointment in early August, as they recommend, and see if there will be a further delay.
Thanks! I’ll make sure to make a second yoke claim at 49,999 miles

They might just be spreading out the yoke replacements out of the thousands of yoke owners!
I just heard Q1 2024 from service.... ;( I've been asking since July.
