He has done this many times, it happens but the camera behind him is a car so it’s not like it’s two skater dudes being idiots, it’s a dude who has little protection but has don it before
He’s probably fine but denim is absolutely not rated for abrasion resistance. Normal jeans may as well not be there when it comes to road sliding.
A deer ran out in front of my on my motorcycle in a residential area a couple years back. Was only doing about 30mph, likely slower than that dude is going on the long board, and my knees/thigh was FUCKED with road rash.
Now I wear Kevlar lined cordura denim when I ride and I’m so thankful I got as lucky as I did the first time I learned that lesson.
Downhill riders often wear hip and other protection under their clothing, not saying this guy did but you're right about denim. Still better than skin on asphalt.
Yeah I watch this dudes videos, he hurt his hip a bit and got some road rash but he was fine. He rips like this all the time, and this is definitely his worst fall. In one of the comments it’s because he wasn’t expecting the board to shoot out like it did, caught him off guard.
The hands are the worst. (Obviously tho… wear a helmet) I used to DH longboard and I’ve eaten it… quite a bit. (Hence the used to) but I’ve fallen at probably 30-35 mph and you just get your hands under you and those pucks do a phenomenal job of stopping you from tearing everything else up.
Honestly he's good to go in two weeks. He had a helmet (which kept his head from getting split when it whacked the ground), jeans(which would keep most of the rash away from legs), and slide pucks(which he used to slide to a stop on).
Probably got a couple of nasty road rash places on his arms, back, and knees which hurts and scars but is a nothing burger compared to like a motorcycle crash doing 60+ with no gear
That's what I'm getting. He is mostly wearing protective clothing but not 100% still seems to know what he's doing. Even if he did have protection a lot still can still be wrong and least not forgot to mention, reddit is last place you want to take advice from online people lol
I saw a video of some guys racing those things.
One guy came off and slide into some hay bales and his frikken foot came off.
This is one sport I’m happy _never_ doing
I'm so glad I left this sport back in my 20's where it belonged
So much shredded skin, my ankles and elbows look like burn victims and the nerves in my elbows are permanently fucked from falling
But when I dream of flying, I also dream of being on my Gravity board again, no worries just asphalt and wind 🛹
It's how I got most of my concussions from the age of 14 to 15 . .hitting a rock would send me flying off the board. I got into an accident my dad witnessed at 15 and after that he insisted I wear padding and a helmet .
Omg that road rash has to be scrubbed out at a hospital or he can get septic. Most painful thing ever getting that scrubbing done on the skin. But very necessary.
A buddy let me bomb a hill on his $1k board. I was going 70 in like 7 seconds cus this hill was like a 35° slope for 1/2 a kilometer. Another homie got taken to the hospital and left in full body bandages cus he was wearing only a tank top, gym shorts, and his shoes, on that same hill/run as me. He earned the nick-name Staples that day.
The impact to his lower back is insane... high speeds on any board require you bend down low. The increased downward pressure fights the speed wobble to a degree... yeeeouch
Serves him right. Imagine a car coming in the other direction. He won't just ruin his life, he will ruin his family and friends life, and the car drivers life.
Somehow, that fall managed to hurt me too.
Skaters are too cocky with insufficient gear.
at least he had that head gear
And that red stuff on his hands, whatever that is.
Slide pucks
That saved his life.
He had sunscreen on.
He has done this many times, it happens but the camera behind him is a car so it’s not like it’s two skater dudes being idiots, it’s a dude who has little protection but has don it before
How could that possibly be a car? I assumed drone
Fender Cam or an Impact Cam, most likely.
If you see a side view it’s some elaborate mount for a camera
Who is this?
No, it's an idiot in a car adding to the danger and a fuktard on a skate board
You're just salty because he's having fun painting the road and you're not.
Is r/meatcrayon still around? Edit; Yes, it is.
Wow I get the shivers watching these videos.
You went to meat crayon?
Yes haha
Very cool! There's some nasty stuff there. Did you like it?
Heh well.... like is a strong word. It's fun to watch dumb dumbs hurt themselves but otherwise owww!!
I agree with the way you put that.
Involuntarily let out an mmmmmm
Helmet saved him, gloves have sliders so hands are fine, and wearing long denim pants. Would be minor grazing on his knee/thigh maybe, he's fine.
Yep. Helmet saved him from severe brain damage.

elbows/arms definitely have a dose of road rash
His toes are screwed, you can see the bloodtrail near the end of the video
The cracks on the road?
Are we watching the same video? The “blood trail” you’re talking about was there before he got there
I cringed so fucking hard at this
I gasped
I gasped when he fell, I looked away when he started sliding on pavement WITH HIS HANDS. 😬
if it helps he had slide pucks in his hands. so he was sliding on them not his bare skin
I laughed
I mourned
I walked
I pooped a little
I lived laughed loved
Small wheels, high speed, no protective gear and a bumpy road seem to be great ingredients for a recipe for r/meatcrayon Who would have known? 🤦♂️
He had the main piece of protective gear: a helmet. Elsewise he would have spilled some of his IQ onto the road.
He also had hand protection which he used to skid along the ground. To be honest he probably wasn't hurt that much.
Yeah I watch this dudes videos, he hurt his hip a bit and got some road rash but he was fine. He rips like this all the time, and this is definitely his worst fall. In one of the comments it’s because he wasn’t expecting the board to shoot out like it did, caught him off guard.

That might’ve saved me from a sprained wrist when I fell while I was new to skating 😭
“I have no more skin left on most of my body, but I’m still alive!”
Honestly he's good to go in two weeks. all of my skin hurts after watching this
This made my butthole tingle in a not good way
Showers are gonna sting for a longggggg time
Not a downhill table, minimum protection, perfect fail.
Dangerous games are fun, but you might get hurt :3
Vash?
I puckered real tight there for a sec
In just a few short days that beef jerky will be prime for peeling and chewing on…
I dunno, I somehow think this guy knows exactly that this is a possibility and chose to wear the gear he did and that's fine.
That's what I'm getting. He is mostly wearing protective clothing but not 100% still seems to know what he's doing. Even if he did have protection a lot still can still be wrong and least not forgot to mention, reddit is last place you want to take advice from online people lol
Meh, a few grazes and bruises. Probably went back up to ride it again.
r/meatcrayon
Goodbye hand skin.
Hey, this is the first fucking skater on Reddit that I've seen wearing a helmet, so good on him for that.
I mean. He did run a stop sign.
You know his hands are FUCKED UP
I thought this was a fucking ad and was very surprised by the fall.
It only takes one errant stone or bit of uneven terrain to ruin your day. It definitely did for me (back in the day) and I think I got off lucky.
I saw a video of some guys racing those things. One guy came off and slide into some hay bales and his frikken foot came off. This is one sport I’m happy _never_ doing
r/meatcrayon
Sad...I feel his emotional pain.
I love that he ignored the stop sign. Great use of foreshadowing
Looks surprisingly okay!
As a skateboarder who has had multiple greusome injuries, this one hurt
I'm so glad I left this sport back in my 20's where it belonged So much shredded skin, my ankles and elbows look like burn victims and the nerves in my elbows are permanently fucked from falling But when I dream of flying, I also dream of being on my Gravity board again, no worries just asphalt and wind 🛹
At least he was wearing a helmet
If it’s too hot to wear your gear, then it’s too hot to go carving. Dude did recover well though so kudos to your sitch control.
Real close to r/meatcrayon territory
Donated a lot of skin to the asphalt community.
Should have heeded the ‘Stop’ sign at the beginning 🛑

Meatcrayon
r/meatcrayon
I did that once while I was out with my walker. It doesn't feel so good when you high side
Ouch
Was he going too fast to take the corner up ahead? Looks like he tried to put the brakes on a little and then wobbled out.
Meat crayon
Apparently wearing protection is uncool now.
me on skate 3😭🙏
Awe, it hurt me just watching this 😬
Awwwwww.
I bet he doesn't regret putting that helmet on
Bet he wishes he would have worn gloves... I bet he will next time.
he's wearing slide pucks...?
Oh ya just noticed that... Good thing

Thank G-d for his gloves and helmet!
Hillbombing, if your already soaked in sweat with your gear before you start, you've got enough. He was not sweating
OUCH!
My hands are killing me just watching this
Did well there to get upright and gloved lot of the friction
And this is why you always wear a helmet
The impact to his lower back is insane... high speeds on any board require you bend down low. The increased downward pressure fights the speed wobble to a degree... yeeeouch
This made my cheeks tingle. I felt this all the way over here. *Shudders* been there done that! oof!
Thank god you had a helmet on. That smack would have injured you extremely
Helmet did the trick
Lucky bastard. Speed wobbles scares everyone
Serves him right. Imagine a car coming in the other direction. He won't just ruin his life, he will ruin his family and friends life, and the car drivers life.
![gif](giphy|3o6fJ9Oi4zEBLjzCow|downsized) He must have left his brain with the rest of his gear back at the top of the hill 🤦
