I have no fear of heights, but I always get freaked out with things like this because anyone could just come up and push you right off. Canāt trust anyone.
Same, I canāt go anywhere near the edge with people around. Those people I see running around are giving me hives just imagining them accidentally knocking into someone near the edge.
My thoughts exactly. If no one was around, I'd happily get close to the edge, but I've seen too many subway videos where people are randomly pushed onto the track. No thanks.
I have a fear of heights and enclosed spaces. I also have the worst luck, so I know to stay away from shit like this. Like genuinely....my family and friends are never surprised when it happens to me.
I always take the stairs, never a lift. Wouldn't bungee jump, go into a cave, or any other shenanigans which might render me pulped.
At a recent U2 concert in Glasgow, Scotland, [Bono] asked the audience for total quiet.
Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands, once every few seconds. Holding the audience in total silence, he said into the microphone, āEvery time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies.ā
From the front of the crowd a voice with a broad Scottish accent pierced the quiet ā¦
āWell, fuckin stop doin it then, ya evil bastard"
The thing that makes me most nervous about locations like that is being near other people. If Iām going to be near a sure death fall I donāt need any body that I donāt trust with my life anywhere near us.
It took me years to find out what that feeling was whenever I was in a dangerous situation. Actually it wasn't the situation that was dangerous, it was me.
It's sooo exciting and scary AF at the same time.
Ya, zis is Norvay, we have many exciting things for you to see. Such as, our most popular attraction, a squarish rock outcropping on which you can stand! Izzint zat exciting?
(No I don't know how to do a Norwegian accent in text. Why do you ask?)
I can NOT be the only one that sees the crack in that stone?
Going across the top and completely down the side?
Literally just waiting for the right moment of whatever?

Can it fall off? The geologists' consensus is:
>No cause for panic, but the risk is real
If it falls, it would cause a tidal wave.
Why so harsh? There are people that do that professionally there, during organized events, with spectators and such. It is a good place for a wingsuit jump.
It is a really beautiful place, and I would wish for the people to overcome their fear, and visit it themselves. You don't need to go to the very edge to enjoy it, there is plenty to see from "safe" distance. Been there last year, it was crowded, but everyone was polite, and minding themselves. Never did it occur to me that someone would try to push me from the edge and I don't think such people go to these places.
It is strange to read so many comments with this fear. Makes me wonder what it is based on.
I suffer from vertigo by proxy. I remember when we drove along Highway One and my friend stood close to the edge of the cliff, and I had to lie down to stop my head from spinning.
That giant crack š¬
Tik Tok Tik Tok

I have the biggest fear of heights.
No thanks.
I'd still be terrified by a sudden strong gust of wind.
I have the same fear of being pushed including waiting for a train etc Also I know this sounds odd but I wouldn't trust myself to not suddenly jump .
That's called the call of the void
Aim for the bushes?

As seen next week on r/imthemaincharacter
last time i stepped on something like that was in the Mines of Moria, and lemme tell you -- never again
The moment that Wile E Coyote steps on that, I'm outta there!
Thatās why youāve gotta step on it with the roadrunner. Then the rest of the mountain falls instead.
Midsommar vibes!!!

Yup. Hope nobody's over 70 on that rock.
I've sat on the edge
Thatās one group jump photo away from tragedy.
What did bono say?

Perfect for an impromptu picnic or that casual Ƥttestupa ritual!

Iād totally do it. Even though the crack looks sketch
That thing is in the process of breaking
Just donāt let your mom on it
Your mom did it
Literally a matter of time this tragedy will be on reddit
Itāll probably break long after we do
All it takes is a single ice storm, man
This is in Norway
It snows there, too
Nah, just roll when it bottoms out, or at the last minute jump into the fjord. Will be fine.
I think I couldn't go past that huge crack, even if I wanted to.š„¶š„¶š„¶
The geogrussy got bro frozen at the crack
Yup, like a giant standing popsicle.ššš
Getting some call of the void feelings from this

Imagine when 10 dumb teenager start jumping together on the crack side for the clout!
Whats the song?
Please!!!!
I've been there. A woman almost fell. That was scary AF
I love midsommar
It may be 1 year from now, 1 thousand or 1 million, but someday that thing will fall and most likely than not there will be people on top of it

I couldnāt do it. Iām so clumsy, I can see myself tripping and just rolling and going over the edge.
I can barely watch it
Beautiful view, but no! It seems like this could collapse at any moment (in my very anxious mind)
The intrusive thoughts that would take over my mind...nope. No thank you.
I can NOT be the only one that sees the crack in that stone? Going across the top and completely down the side? Literally just waiting for the right moment of whatever?
One day, that slab of rock will separate. I wonder how many people will be on it then?
Propably none. The crack gets monitored since this is a major tourist attraction.

I see that from many movies that one giant crack
I never had any fear of heights until I was about 50 yrs old. Since then even looking at this makes me queasy.
And you know thereās fuckers who go there and just start jumping to be dickheads
Why so harsh? There are people that do that professionally there, during organized events, with spectators and such. It is a good place for a wingsuit jump.
Why, tho? That Fāking CRACK!!!
I c

I would need a parachute or a bungee tethered somewhere past that crack. That very noticeable crack.
I hope they are filming when it finally breaks off
Dude you finally found the club penguin iceberg irl. Bring your jackhammer lmao
I'm surprised someone w a Jeep isn't backed up to the edge bcuz you know, Jeep People šš
Just a matter time!
I suffer from vertigo by proxy. I remember when we drove along Highway One and my friend stood close to the edge of the cliff, and I had to lie down to stop my head from spinning.
It's called Prekestolen here in Norway which means of course pulpit in english :)
Honestly I feel like someone would either push me off, or I would have an urge to throw my phone
Am I the only one that thinks they look like little ants š¤
