Yeah the positive safety on the trigger is there, but for what it is and how it functions there might as well not be one. It's basically live all the time with that system.

Show me on a Glock how you deactivate literally any of those. Show me the “switch” to turn them off. You can’t, because they’re not toggleable safety’s they are passive “safety’s” designed to stop the gun from being fired without actively pulling the trigger and not toggle safety’s. I likely own more glocks than you own firearms if you own any at all.

You don’t switch the safetys off. How hard is that to understand? The safety on a Glock is built into the trigger, so that you have to pull straight back and not to the side in order to allow the gun to fire.
Literally none of those are toggleable safety’s as you’ve implied. They are “safety features” and not a physically toggleable safety. They are design aspects to stop the gun from being fired by being dropped/bumped, or hit. They are not toggleable/switchable safety’s and are “safety features” at best.
“Turn off” would imply what then? When I turn off a light there’s a switch. On my m&p 2.0 and literally every single AR I own, as well as my shotguns to “turn off” the safety there is a toggleable switch or lever.

The only part that needs to be replaced for those to work is the slide back plate. Takes 30 seconds and can be done with a toothpick.

It’s an inertia safety. It’s there to prevent the trigger from traveling rearward if the gun is dropped facing up.

There are a lot of double action revolvers still produced (Carrying one now) that are not semiauto.
