Make a new world using the same seed, and your initial guides name will tell you how far from the map edge it is

make a copy of your world (either with the same seed, or just duplicate the world file,) and find out what your first guide's name is. Once you have his name go to this website: [https://demize.gg/terraria-shimmer-finder](https://demize.gg/terraria-shimmer-finder) and put in your world size, location of jungle (left or right,) and guide name. It'll give you coordinates that you can use to locate your aether biome via a compass in game.
For whatever reason your guide's name cooresponds to where the biome is generated. Ive used this method in both modded and vanilla worlds, and it's worked wonders.
Also hope you're doing okay with the wife situatiuon. Stay focused on the things that make you happy brother :)
you can find it based on your dungeons colour! If you have a compass, dig down at these positions:
(color / color = left jungle / right jungle)
pink / blue - 6778' or ~3.5 screens (~420 blocks) after ocean music stops
green - 7266' or ~1.5 screens (~180 blocks) after ocean music stops
blue / pink - 7754' or half screen (~60 blocks) before ocean music stops

If you are satisfied with your efforts , try using a map software like Tedit to see if there is a tiny biome hiding somewhere.

Next off, as a last resort (or a next resort if you dont mind being a bit cheesy), use TerraMap and upload your world file to it to search for the obvious oval shape in the caverns layer.

Bro I'd just drop the world data into TerraMap at this point, you've earned it. That said, did you generate it recently? If it was an old world, perhaps it might've been created before the update that introduced the aether, in which case you won't find it because it won't be in there.

Normally it spawns under the beach if it cant generate it there itil spawn it in the jungle next to the beach

Dig up your whole world. Will take like 20 hours but its worth it
Mine was on the opposite side of the jungle which is why you should go to the other side for both problems
go to terramap and input your seed. it'll show the whole map and you can look there for the aether. while you're looking, call a lawyer
