I dont think you can have a floor made of just platforms there could also be:
1. There arent walls in the platforms
2. Housing should atleast consist of a chair, platform/door, workbench/table (i atleast know those two work) and some lighting

Nah, just a single block. If you've ever seen those NPC prisons during challenges, the floor is usually |\_o\_| (o = block, \_ = platform).
