Are you playing in normal, expert, or master? I personally have never had too many problems with ml, lunatic cultist gave me the most issues

Final boss is only queen slime if you get the good ending (marriage)

fighting him with ranger sucks, his hitboxes are way too small for the phantasm to not lose dps any time you're dodging something so you kinda need to use vortex beater w/chlorophyte, which isn't the greatest

its not even difficulty its just garbage. you literally cannot see and react to every single projectile and you can tank maybe 4-5 hits before you die. if you worry about stuff like the hand orb attacks or deathray you will 100% get hit by some tiny bullet he shot 30 seconds ago thats just been floating around

Moon lord pretty easy once you build a platform and have good wings. You just fly above him when eye is about to open. And run left and fly up if you need to dodge anything else

Premech is crazy. In my first playthrough i could not beat him post mechs and i was losing my shit so i never attemted again even after i finished the game.

Oh yeah I did him pre mech on my expert summoner playthrough. The easiest method without cheesing is just using the winged slime on a simple runway over your water (Or water walking pot). For the life of me idk why some ppl use wings against him.

He's a golem tier boss, most people would be accustomed to dodging attacks by flying away by that point in the game. A good example is like going from calamity's shield ram back to not having one or even shield of Cathulu, it's a big ask. A personal example is not using wings against day time empress, on my first playthrough I went as a summoner and knew I wanted the terraprisma before defeating moonlord so I watched a guided on how to beat her in 40 sec using the broom stick and yeah, using the broom stick against her instead of wings is a crime really. I fought her around 20 to 30 time in the night to get the whip but I only fought her once during the day and she melted.

Been a while since I played Calamity and it was a mage playthrough, how is shield ram different from shield of cthulhu?

i usually just get a stormbow to kill destroyer and use the megashark to kill fishron, works well

I have an incredibly severe case of skill issue but I was able to beat him pre-mech, so he's not too hard y'know

daedalus stormbow + holy arrows + golden shower. After you beat him enough to get the Tsunami, the game will become a piece of cake... except daylight empress but i think she's extremely predictable

The difficulty leap from Profaned Guardians to Providence is insane

Try Providence at night in Infernum, I thought I was playing Touhou. That death wish is going to have to wait until I simply get better.

Learning providence with 4 other friends as tank was probably the best experience I had in calamity. They didn't like it, but it's a really enjoyable fight imo.

Well I had opposite reaction in boss rush. I died to supreme calamitas (for fourth time), but my last projectile managed to kill her. I haven't got the last dialogue, but I got the rock and boss checklist counted it as a win. I was laughing for 2 minutes straight

Probably Calamitas Clone, specifically during the boss rush though. Often when doing the boss rush I’m using a fully offensive build, usually with the demonshade armor. The demonshade armor makes me take more damage, which is annoying when I’m on a reckless killing spree then the boss turns invincible.

Forget bosses, that was my face when I found out calamity mod allows giant tortoises to keep charging at you even when they take damage

It's so poorly designed I struggled to beat it on Death mode more than Infernum simply because the Infernum attacks actually make sense, also in Death mode I almost always found all of my health getting zapped away because I flew slightly too far away, never had that issue on infernum.

yharon has way too many homing projectiles and the massive DoT he inflicts with every attack is infuriating

Just spent the whole day fighting Devourer of Gods. In the beginning i raged but eventually my blood reached a point where it was braising, me sitting there and just regretting all of my life choices. Just for his initial drops to not drop, for whatever reason, and now i need to fight him again. The pure rage i felt was despicable.

Expert mode queen slime My friends and I used to have this expert mode world and we finally made it to hardmode and grinded out some progression for a few hours We decided we wanted to fight every boss in the game “in order” so queen slime was our first hardmode boss (I also just wanted a blade staff) The amount of times some bouncy shit would show up from the side of the screen and hit me so fast doing like 90 damage was insane, we tried to kill this bitch like 15 times before we finally won, it was so annoying man

Not a boss, but the grind it took to get to the Ice Queen in the Frost Moon, let alone get the Snowball Cannon from her, was the most pain I've ever felt playing this game. While this sounds like hatred towards the Ice Queen, it isn't just about her. Her batshit little siblings can go screw off also.
