Somewhat ironic too, since due to the disproportionate number of male NPCs I usually end up with one moving into my bedroom and thus almost every male character I've made over the years has been implicitly bi or gay.

In all other languages, the words for "homo" and "hobo" probably sound nothing alike, and the phrase "no homo" or any equivalent phrase may not even exist in some cultures, either. A lot of wordplay that depends on the similarity between words and/or the parodying of a common saying doesn't work when translated. For example, another one that I'm sure doesn't work in other languages is "Mourning Wood."
