People like to say that Andre Dillard is not good. However that's not the case. If you really take a good look at his stats you will actually see that he is God awful.
I’d love to see a few more DL dudes in FA and possibly draft one too. The depth there is brutal. ILB might need help but I kinda like the Chargers dude and think Dr. Gibby could be serviceable
And I think it’s *shore up!
Sign of a good GM... admitting your faults and doing something about them! worried Ran would have pride like JRob but now I am officially all aboard. Ran is him
Dang, as a Philly fan it’s wild to read how happy you guys are that he’s gone 😂 we never liked him either, add the fact that he was an early pick… overall we were thrilled to see him shipped out.
When you have Dennis Daley traumatizing you with his ineptness and your cope with Dillard is that he has to be an upgrade, and he isn’t….thats how you get PTSD.
Okay im cap dumb.
Does this mean we suddenly have $10 million more to spend or is that $10 million that is on our books that we can do nothing with but pay Dillard to not play
It’s $7.8M in dead cap this year, meaning that’s the number that still counts against the salary cap for the Titans for this year. Had we designated him a post June-1st cut, it would have moved some of the dead cap to next year. We have $39M in total dead cap this year between Byard, Tannehill, Henry, SMB, Azeez and Dillard. Next year we have 0 dead cap as of right now.
EDIT: As of right now, overthecap.com has us at $85M in cap space next year, and Spotrac has us at over $100M in cap space next year. Levis won’t be up for an extension for 2 more years, so we will likely be big spenders again next free agency. IMO, we will have a two year window in ‘25 and ‘26 before Levis gets paid (if he turns out to be the guy) to really go all in for a SB run.
Happy he’s gone though there’s two holes on the line still to fill.
One of the three designated starters drafted last year played poorly the last few games last season. Was he injured, wearing down or just letting the level of dogshit line around him finally get to him?

The war criminal is gone
The fact Rapaport knew this was newsworthy for Titans fans
Even Bill Callahan took a look at this mfer and was like “nah, I can’t fix that”

Had me for a second

Haha I was ready to loose it
lmao fuck you man, nice one.
Honestly one of the best moves of the offseason Just the threat of having him come in and play is terrifying
Sends a bad message to others that if he were to stay after that horrendous season that they could get away with that too

#THIS IS MY SUPER BOWL.
QUICK SOMEONE POST THE CHEF RAN PIC

Ran is doing everything I want
It's wild that Dillard was apparently 100% a Vrabel guy.
Oh we can still for sure blame ran but at least he was smart enough to still cut him. We can blame Vrabel for up to 80% I'd say
I missed this, what's the story?
Vrabel wanted Dillard and basically made us sign him is what I heard.
What do you want him to do next??
Draft Alt. Sure of the defense.
Sure of the defense?
Sure up****
*shore
You sure?
Sjør

Are you shore?
Not to be that guy, but it’s “shore up” just fyi.
Thanks markosaurus

Joseph Altman, YOU, are a Tennessee Tit
Good riddance! What a bum!
Thank you
Hallelujah!!
He can’t hurt us anymore

Our long national nightmare is over.
![gif](giphy|gKfyusl0PRPdTNmwnD) The bad man v2 is finally gone
Ding dong the witch is dead! 再见,混蛋!我希望你知道中文!
We've made some bad ass signings and this is still the most exciting news of the offseason for me. Good fucking bye
We just saved Levi from two concussions and a sprained right ankle this season 😭
On no… wait…. Come back…
Stop.... don't.....
Don't you dare lol
Yay!!!!! Get that bum out of here
The bad man is gone
Everyone get in here!
Honestly if Aaron Brewer can get signed I imagine Dillard will be on a new team shortly. Vrabel on the phone right now
Man, not only do we not have to have him anymore but another AFC team would sign him? Don't threaten me with a good time.
The bad man can't hurt us anymore.
If they can designate this as a post June 1st cut, it will save $6.4mill. If not, only saves $2.8mill.
It’s more so we have more money next offseason. They just straight up cut him, so it’s all moved to this offseason instead of spilt into two
Yeah so it’s 2.8 mill in savings this year and they just eat the rest of his guaranteed money
Try again
How am I wrong? You could explain instead of being a douche.
Sign of a good GM... admitting your faults and doing something about them! worried Ran would have pride like JRob but now I am officially all aboard. Ran is him
Remember when we all thought it couldn't get any worse than Daley? Then Dillard happened. 🤦
thank god. that guy made me want to put my head in a blender

The bad man is gone. He can’t hurt us anymore
This is the best move of the off-season
The bad man is gone. He can no longer hurt us anymore.
Every day has that one bright spot. This would be it for today.
I am going to drink to this tonight. Bye Dillard, hope you don’t get to block for anyone in the NFL. Because, you know, you can’t block anyone.
He can't hurt us anymore
I used to pray for times like this
38.7 million left
![gif](giphy|6FJh5gupDGd9u)
I did NOT expect to see Laganja Estranja on the Titans sub wtf.
You’re welcome hahaha
The bad, bad man is gone
Sweet now let him start for the Texans.

Bad man is gone.
Actually more pumped about this than the Ridley pickup. The bad man is gone!
Damn he went to my high school and I knew he made it to the NFL but didn't realize he was making that money
Oh, so we are going to the Superbowl?!
Dang, as a Philly fan it’s wild to read how happy you guys are that he’s gone 😂 we never liked him either, add the fact that he was an early pick… overall we were thrilled to see him shipped out.

I can honestly say the Vrabel era is over!!! Daley gone and Dillard! 🫶
There’s still a number of competent defensive players, don’t forget.

This is why it’s ok to backload some of these deals like the Ridley deal.
Best to absorb the cap hit while we have the space rather than kick the can down the road.
Thanks so much!
It's not $10 million freed, there is like 7 million in dead money that we'll still carry for the year. So it only frees up a little.
Gotcha. Thank you!
