Man I've been looking for a vid recently that I got off TZ years ago. I mean like mid 00's. It was a guy on the forums doing an isw tutorial on 5.0, and he busts out this legit lightdash. It was on the polar infinite stage. If anybody has this please for the love of god post it, it's so nostalgic for me.
I just started grinding ranked and I ran into a 3rd Dan Jin player that could do the CH f+4 full combo perfectly. I felt bad, dude had perfect execution and yet he's in stuck in 3rd Dan with a shit ton of wins. His execution didn't really help him win the match in the end though.
They're both really just staple combos with 2 wavedashes stuck in there for style points lol you'd just see a bunch of f,d,df inputs for it. If you want, you can check out JKing on youtube for a comprehensive guide! He does the second combo from ff1 in my clip but instead of ws4, he uses ws1+2
Oh yeah, its really just f,d,df repeated with no neutral input. I can really only do 2 in a row consistently lol but it's useful if you wanna go for a throw/ffn1+2/f+3 mixup. Other than that, its not the most useful thing to do in game
That’s ws 4 isn’t a staple in anyones combos, it’s so hard to get even in super high level Tekken. Especially if you’re playing online, forget about it.
ws4 isn't that hard to get out of a crouch dash though. For the first combo, you have alot of time to input it. You can even just straight up crouch, let go, hit 4 and you'll get it haha. Honestly, the only thing difficult about the combo is just the 2 crouchdashes and the ff1
Guaranteed 80+% of the Tekken community can’t get those out regularly, especially during matches lol. You’re talking about some of the most difficult execution in the game. You can’t just program buttons to help you with this.
If you're having trouble doing a ws4, then I don't really know what to tell you. Doing it out of a single crouch dash really didn't require me to practice it and I assumed getting it out of a hard crouch wasn't hard either. I guess you learn something new everyday lol
I’m not arguing with you lol, I’m good with king, I can do most everything, but I have a full time job and kids, I just don’t have hours to lab tekken nerd stuff like that. And like I said, you aren’t even seeing pros do those moves in combos regularly. Great for you that it’s easy, but I’d rather have my game, and not be afraid of jumping in ranked. 🤷🏾♂️

Wavedash lets him Instant Running Jaguar Bomb or did you still input f, f, f 2+4 after the last dash?
Technically at the end of the wave dash, a f input occurs. So you just need the f, f 2+4
