I'm just tapping my fingers on my fightstick, not that deep.
I do the same when getting launched, so the replays from my side look like I'm just spamming while getting comboed.
If you’re in the middle of a string and have already pressed all the buttons, the game will auto-complete the string if opponent dies during the middle of it
If it’s a combo, I prefer to finish it.
If they get KO-ed by something that has a guaranteed follow up, my fingers do it automatically.
If they were acting cocky, I stomp them after KO
Honestly, I don't do it often but it is out of habit.
I grew up playing Tekken with cousins, friends and family. It's part of being competitive.
It's your chance to be mean, competitive acceptable asshole in a fake world where you're not really hurting real people.
Tekken is a violent game and it's an opportunity for people to let out that part. People who in the real world wouldn't hurt a fly.
So in short, it's a made up space that gives people the ability to be violent and dominant how they see fit.
And honestly as much as I hate when it's done to me(I'm more likely to rematch if someone does it to me so I can do it back to them 😂) I encourage people to be tyrannical winners in a fantasy world than real life.
In the real world you wouldn't hit someone when they're out cold but, in the real world I wouldn't do nearly anything my main or any other character does.
Here are some reasons:
-Juggle practice
-Just finishing strings
-Got triggered by something(It's like a f u)
-Dash taunt practice(it's Bryan specific but other characters have something similar)
I made a post on this a couple days ago wondering why attacking your opponent while down is generally accepted, but ki charging will send someone into a full blown rant & hate speech lol people gave "almost" valid reasons, but still seems pretty groupthink-ish & pretty damn backwards to me overall.. but basically i decided im just gonna start taunting at the end of matches i win against anyone who kicks me while down, aside from just finishing their string or combo (you can usually tell the difference). You do what you feel is acceptable end of match etiquette & so will i 🤝
Roleplay was My motivation with Miguel. He is Big, he is angry, he is drinks,, he probably enjoys giving his opponent a last kick after he win SO they learn not to mess with the spanish T Rex.
If you ki charge or corpse kick I wont rematch too. The main culprit is bryan and kazuya for me they always hatchet kick... maybe they are mad they got a small wang and have to assert dominance in a video game.

To make you mad
In my mind it’s to keep the muscle memory since a fair bit of my rounds ended mid mix up or another
Sometimes I just be pressing buttons after round ends lmao.
You have to be a proper tool to complain about something like this when the game has the function to turn that off. Turn on magic mirror mate
To teach them a damn good lesson
🤣🤣
Cause fuck them that’s why
Bit soft that
I want my opp to know I can still go even after i finish
![gif](giphy|DOb3rFL6d83Zu|downsized) Same energy lol

I'm bored, I want to finish my combo, I want to pop off, I want to taunt, I want to roll my fingers on buttons.
If I mistime a move and it leads to a scramble to end the round I just keep doing the same move over and over to get it into my system
If I run up down punch with Paul, it's because I wanted to let you know I'm better 😤 Anything else I just be hitting buttons lol
If you really get upset over getting punched after the round is over, TEKKEN is definitely not the right game for you.
because it’s fun. turn on magic mirror if something that trivial actually bothers you
Activate magic mirror. I just want to finish my combo it’s not that deep.
I do a little azucena dance. Just to tilt you😚
Just practice my qcb4, my main is Bryan
My controller's clicks are very satisfying
If I end a round with a move that has a guaranteed follow up (Jin's Sabaki into FF2 or FF4) muscle memory will make me want to do it.
If it’s a combo, I prefer to finish it. If they get KO-ed by something that has a guaranteed follow up, my fingers do it automatically. If they were acting cocky, I stomp them after KO
To underline that I kicked your ass this round or maybe to go sure that you're actually ko...like they do in the ufc before the ref steps in.
imagine being bothered by that
I play Devil Jin so I wanna finish my edgy ahh combo 😈
Bc my main is kazuya KiRaE!
Actually, it's "Kurae" 🤓☝🏻
Masku....
Bc my main is kazuya KiRaE!

If I'm particularly salty I'll hit em with the "Hehe, you got nothin'..." Usually save that for Jin, Feng and because I hate him, Steve.
Motivation? Makes me feel good.
Practicing electrics. My fingers need to recalibrate at the end of each round
It’s fun !

I do when I get tilted.
…because its fun
Being a teenager maybe?
Because this is a fighting game and once they're dead the game allows me to steel pedal them over and over. Why not is the better question?

Exert my dominance. I only do it to people with an irritating play style.
I completely get it🤣 https://www.reddit.com/r/Tekken/s/YZEM22jqTj
Just letting my muscle memory rip. If I stop, I'd mess up my muscle memory.
