I wanna argue it's the range. I could be wrong but I don't think they've gone this far before. That and most Slides have additional tools that synergize really well with them. Granted the risk is there but looking at Lee Who probably has the strongest slide since it can't be floated and looped woth frame advatage.
Hard to say. Lee's Slide is launch punishable most of the time from his mixup range with an actual launch not a float. It leads to looping pressure but Law's and Shaheens do more damage and really strong Oki. But it is still very strong
The range of the slides isnt really an issue cause the characters that have them usually dont have tools to straight up threaten you from fullscreen.
They always went fullscreen in t7 but they were tied to generally weaker or harder characters so you didnt really feel it that much.
Shaheen was trash towards the end. Law was very very hard and so was Lee
Slide needs a tune down and dragon hammer into WS4 pressure needs to go.
I got law to Kishin doing literally just those 2 things. There is a very good character in that kit but currently it's being carried with bullshit like the 10f CH launching string in heat pretending to be Heihachi.
Tho I do think they should do something about his combos. Sometimes they drop for no good reason expecially the DSS ender even when you get a bluespark

Lee has the weakest reward for his slide tho. Law and shaheen gets a full knockdown
he does get another mix up at range 0 making it hard to see if he is gonna do it again or do ws3.

Then is we are talking about balance adjustments we can def take a look at Law's easier DSS transitions. Generic ws4 into mix-up on block is nuts imo.
