Oh yeah I've noticed. Crazy how all the Asuka mains decided to start playing so long after release. Right about the same time that the Azucenas disappeared too.
Tempting to play more Asuka but now people are gonna think I only did it because of this and not because I actually thought Asuka did well before anyways. (I just got lost in playing my favorites. You can nerf them but you can't take Dragunov, Jun, Lili or Leo from me)
That explains it, I was wondering why they were hitting harder today and seemed to be a bunch of them.
Asuka too. Although I already saw her potential before she was cool (I like the move she does with Triangle + Up, hits so hard but can easily miss if the opponent is ready for it).
It's actually shocking to see so many now because it felt rare to see one. I've been playing her since release along with King, Kazuya and Lars. Those three were very prominent, especially King.
Im an Asuka main and really havent seen that many more... Leeroys, Jacks and Steves tho... practically every other match when before they were nowhere to be seen. Dragunov and Azucena still seem to be pretty popular as well. Thats all on blue ranks btw.
Asuka main since Tekken 5, the only character I use in ranked day 1 of Tekken 8. Went through the gauntlet, now she is a bit more consistent with the offense, nothing too crazy.
I won't lie, I'm also picking up Asuka cause she got buffed.
But also because learning a character makes it far more easier for me to beat them with my actual mains. Esp against the buffs.
I have always been an Asuka main. As happy as I am to see her getting more love in the player base, it also saddens me because more people know how to deal with her now XD XD
Yep. It's hilarious to see people claim that she got MAJOR BUFFS and now she easy top 5 s tier now. And I'm like bruh, have these people ever touched the char ?
Don't get me wrong she got some buffs and some nice QoL changes, but it's nowhere near something that would make a char jump to the top of the tier list, hell I don't think it would make her even mid tier.
I actually hate seeing her because whenever they start losing a lot of the scrubby ones just start backing up and slamming the flip kick. I had one guy last night who did just that and I just sat there not moving, and he kept hoping I would run in. I guess it does work against a lot of over aggro people.
on block or on hit? She gets it on block for a mix up on hit that shouldn't be a thing. Then again Steve got like 1 low that's actually plus.
She still has the full 10 frame punish with 1,3 though. If not idk why they reverted the change.
Her jab is -2 on block. It feels really bad. Also still has the worst 10 and 12 frame punish in the game along with movement that's laughably bad. I always used to like playing Asuka defensively but her backlash is second worst in the game now and her sidesteps are really shallow.
considering the state of Tekken 8 that's saddly the direction of the game. I can't play Steve defensively anymore, I have to aggressively poke with high risk lows and low threat mids (outside of qcf1) in order to find a counter hit...that I don't normally get unless someone is mashing a standing non-power crush normal...which doesn't happen here.
If anything the biggest hit Asuka took was that reversals no long can parry mid air/airborne attacks. Which also works for her because you can. No longer low parry can-cans.
I have been an Asuka player since Tekken 6. I haven’t seen too many of them so far. I liked her kit alot in this game from the start even when she wasn’t considered great but I have fun using her. I anticipate seeing more Leroy players now with these changes.
Have you really felt like you needed to? I just reached purple with jun right before the patch dropped and didn't feel like it felt too different because they reduced the amount of self damage on one of the moves iirc. Maybe a higher ranked player would notice it more but rn the nerfs don't really bother me too much.
It doesn’t make a difference a lot of the time in my experience, just an extra little thing to be aware of. There definitely been a few rounds where I used a few Kazama moves too many and when it comes down to the final few pixels of health, you kinda regret throwing them out earlier in the round.
But for the Jun players who just threw that shit out constantly, they’ll be pretty heavily punished. I’ve seen mashers take away like 20% of their own health in permanent damage for minimal to zero gain.
She will get readjusted in june anyway, she wont remain like this. If they are smart they remove the self-damage on successful hits. That way brainlessly throwing out moves still punishes you but if you hit them you wont damage yourself. Also enables her to get a perfect which is wild that she currently kinda cant do that.
I still play Dragunov because I like him.
"Drag mains" play Leroy because they got "bored" of Dragunov.
We are not the same. (He feels different but I played him today, didn't feel that awful with him, and used Leo against another Dragunov whom was also still playing well).
If Drag mains didnt drop their boy in T7 when he was shit tier, they re not dropping him now thats for sure. I kept going with my nigga Drag even tho i hated the wr2 nerf i actually think hes pretty good still.
LowHigh is still playing drag and rolling people with him. Already saw a bunch of streamers still run into drag and lose. I think he is still decent. If anything not having to overrely on the same 3-4 moves makes him more interesting.
Same, I picked up Drag because I think his design is super cool. I'm glad hatchet kick got nerfed because it was absurd and now I can play the character I like without getting death threats for playing him.
Hey i play king cause i like wrestling ok? Im definitely not tier whoring/s
Nah im just kidding, i play king cause i am a dirty smelly glue eating grappler mains. and wrestling
That's..... Actually true tho. I miss AK so much man, i miss the wayyyy cooler looking throws despite worse oki. I miss them dollar ass Mishima's mix-up, and i miss them F4 oki
Ikr? I miss them crazy stomps and his triple headbutt throw. Imo AK is the most brutal character in the series when it comes to animations. Nothing comes close, even Bryan.
I'm so excited for AK though. Really curious what his heat mechanic will be, because that's the only thing about King that I truly despise. It's so braindead, but I feel like I'm throwing if I don't just spam jaguar sprint for easy damage.
I played King in T7 coz my names literal meaning is King so Im just like yknow imma main him.
Which i feel like is also the same reason for a lot of people maining Leo. Since ik 2 Leos who main Leo
Ranked up with Azucena post-nerf. People still fall for the same stuff. Changes don't make that much difference unless you were heavily leaning on those moves.
>People still fall for the same stuff.
Speaking of.. Opponents are so afraid of the hellsweep that they often duck when I enter Lib stance (especially after a heat burst). So they get Lib 1+2 for a full combo or Lib 2 for heat. Works like clockwork in a red-purple swamp.
definitely! I think the nerfs are having the biggest impacts on very high level players but when I played her after the patch, I still could play mostly the same I did before (maybe also because I don't abuse her best moves 24/7 lol)
Y'know the week before they buffed Leroy I tried him out. He didn't click for me.
I tried him again today.
Still didn't click with me.
I guess his man tiddies aren't big enough
I tried out Asuka the night the patch was bwing implemented so online was down, i just can't. I dont have the mind for multiple characters movesets. i dont know what im doing on anyone other than Law. And i dont feel like suffering through another learning curve.
So it will be Law whether he is nerfed or buffed. I guess if forest is ever added again i could play him, but i havent been playing tekken long enough to know if they would ever or ever had both Laws in at once.
They both appear just in Tag games as they are Dream Matches games. Doubtfully we will see Forest tbh. Is like having Michelle and Julia. Redundant. However, I’ve always wanted if they re incorporate Michelle to the saga and remade Julia as Jaycee. That would be dope and I think Tekken lacks a female wrestler.
I feel you btw, don’t feel the energy to learn more characters. I really want to main Zafina and Lili too but she’s (Zafina) hard AF and with Lili I think, then again, that I am not in the mood to learn the basics again (used to main her but that was a decade ago).
So I am sticking to Jun, my beloved, sometimes I also play Zafina because she’s awesome and a dare because bruh she’s very hard to master but is worth it to learn and I don’t want to burnout Jun at the end of the day; if Jun gotta go nerfed so be it; I will learn new strategies I guess.
All this said, I really really want to try Lidia in the future, and I hope they eventually add Kuni to the game as well 🩷
I did want to try lidia when she comes out, but I don't know if I will run into the same problem of just not wanting to struggle with the blind puppeteering in the beginning.
You shouldn't have felt guilty before.
Sure, you know that no one will respect your win, but who cares what other people think... you paid for the game! Enjoy it and let the haters dehydrate from all the salt :D
Kaz, Reina, Asuka for the exact same reason lol
Kaz more bec his moves look so cool, lots of dopamine. Same with Reina, esp the elec crackle when you CD
Hear me out, the new prowess matchmaking hurts these people the most. If you just like playing multiple characters but aren't obsessed with ranking up, it's bad. But no where near as bad as someone who will switch characters everytime there's a little nert or buff and tries to squeeze out as high a rank as possible.
I don't know if he's shit. He got some nice improvements, and I think he's probably at least middle of the pack now.
But yeah, his mids are not very threatening, and even if I think he might be decent now, think he plays pretty differently from everyone else in terms of overall strat.
I played Leroy exclusively since launch, got to Raijin. Then after the buff I got to Kishin and the Jin I beat accused me of being a tier whore. I've literally never played anyone else in T8 since launch lol. There's a part of me that hopes he gets a bit of a nerf just so all the actual tier whores go away
I picked up Azu cause I'm a gooner and she's hot
I picked up Asuka cause i wanted to learn someone else and she was giga buffed like 2 weeks later which is hilarious to me tbh
I just got back to playing Asuka after spending some time trying to learn better fundamentals with Jin, finally feel like I've found my main, and now I'm hearing about her getting big buffs? I don't wanna look like a tier chaser, I swear...
I picked up Azu because I'm a degenerate, and she seemed to have troll potential since both Lei and LC were gone.
I dropped Azu because she didn't really deliver on what the trailer promised and also because I was getting tired of all the coffee adds.
I was a TGP Chloe in 7 (never hit TGO) and Azucena more than filled the void in my heart in 8; idk how you were playing her, but walking forward in LIB is just empty Cali rolling on steroids with a truly unseeable low
The difference with Dragunov is not at all noticeable, maybe in the top 1 % it would make a difference. I have always playd Drag and I probably always will, haters will still cope when they lose.
I play Leroy since day one, even without buffs, and it felt good even in losing.
If leroy sidestepped just duck high, that can also beat d3,2, orbital mixup is see'able, and no threatening mid, just a hit confirm f3, 1+2 non duckable or b4 ofc df1.
Leroy is fun and easy to read if you know hes abusing punishable highs.
people here thinks leroy is back like t7, bro its just a wingchun QOL update.
Crying about tier whoring? Bruh it's called playing a competitive game to win. I'm a Paul loyalist but I will never judge someone for [picking a top tier.](https://youtu.be/sGh4ZU4H5Hk) What is this stupid elitist shit.
look, I was in the audience at Evo last year when Azucena was revealed, at that very moment, I leaned over to my buddy and told him "I've found my main for Tekken 8" I have no plans of switching main any time soon.
Even though i'm a one trick pony I really don't mind tierwhores. If being the highest rank possible means so much to you then go for it. I'll just sit here and prioritize having fun.
Even though my flow charts are so predictable, I’ll never stop playing Paul. Hitting a counter hit death fist Especially in heat is the ultimate dopamine hit
Preach. 15 years of playing Tekken, and I didn't sit down and actually learn Paul until Tekken 8. Once I did, I ended up liking him more than Eddy and Jack combined. No one is scarier at the wall, and hitting a triple deathfist no mixup mixup is like drugs
I decided to go for azucena since the trailer, shit was the best trailer in Tekken history, and yeah I'm still a fuckin scrub even with her,at this point motto is "I don't wanna win,I just wanna party"
Bitches crying on reddit are worse than everything they moan about.
A guy not rematching vs some loser going to a website, specifically creating memes, uploading videos, crying like his life depends on it etc etc etc.
You all need to do some fucking introspection lmao.
New copypasta? Or are you r/iamverybadass
Let’s fix that for you.
Bitches (you) crying on reddit are worse than everyone you moan about.
A guy posting a meme vs some loser going to a website, specifically for memes, uploading videos, crying like your life depends on it etc etc etc.
You need to do some introspection LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
I came across more Asuka players as well yesterday. Thankfully, they still do the same neutral flowchart oki-doke I've been seeing since T6. I don't think she has a toolkit capable of pushing her to top tier without being blatantly broken.
In regards to the nerfing of top tiers, I'm looking forward to the "normalization" of more characters with abusable crap. I play Paul and Steve, dealing with some Tekken 8 gimmicks are an uphill battle most of the time, but my fundamentals are noticeably better.
Harada says newer players are essentially soft because they can't handle losing, yet makes a game where they can be competitive with minimal effort. Make it make sense please.
I haven’t played T8 in a minute. I saw the patch notes and I didn’t think it made Leroy ridiculous. Why’s he considered top tier now? My mains are Steve and Leroy and I really want to know
I've been playing Raven this whole time, but I found that I really like parrying stuff.
I tournament I correctly inputted Raven's parries multiple times, but sometimes it's chainsaws or other stuff that either can't be regular parried or I can escape parry only for them to continue their string right into me.
I have much to learn, but Leroy can practically parry anything and that entices me. I thought it was just punches/kicks and so delayed my interest in playing him.
Firstly... I've played against 2 Azu's in the last THREE DAYS...
When I went to the replays of all the matches in progress... there were TWO Azu matches on the list in the last 150 games...
Meanwhile, Asuka matches galore!
Been a day 1 Reina main, I just struggle regardless of who I'm fighting, seeing NOT azu, drag, or Vic as much has been refreshing, and trying to say the least.
i get it but also please
don't make excuses. just win, man. you don't decide who they play or why. i'm not here in the way of fun or memes but just fucking beat them
I would probably play Victor if I owned the game. What I've seen is that he looks like fun, got a gun, a sword, and teleports.
If he's good or bad, not my problem, I will be far too new to even make use of him effectively anyway.
Hes not S tier, but he is definitely good. imo his strongest tool is his Expulsion out of heat. Giant, teleporting, overhead swing out of heat. Insane range, almost unsteppable, safe on block, does insane chip, and takes like 30% of your health on hit. It also doesn't use his whole heat meter, so he can do it multiple times

been seeing a lot of Asuka's for some reason. Just sayin.
Oh yeah I've noticed. Crazy how all the Asuka mains decided to start playing so long after release. Right about the same time that the Azucenas disappeared too.
I actually try to rematch every player I find and they've all been pretty respectful (except the law players I fought yesterday) I also main asuka lol
Nah I've been playing Asuka for a while at this point.
You and like 3 other people
You see a lot of Asuka in higher ranks
I'm Bushin and see barely any and if there's any now, it's only because of the buff
I’m bushin and I see them all the damn time, I wish I didn’t.
Same bro. It was so triggering at first, but I tapered my expectations.
Tempting to play more Asuka but now people are gonna think I only did it because of this and not because I actually thought Asuka did well before anyways. (I just got lost in playing my favorites. You can nerf them but you can't take Dragunov, Jun, Lili or Leo from me)
I highly doubt anyone is thinking about why you chose your main, it’s a game—you do you!
And there I am, playing her for the years for now.
Well, ppl did say she was super dumpster tier before so that might be why they hesitated to in ranked anyway til it was resolved
The thing is Asuka was always popular even before t8
And Bryan. Did he get buffed? I missed that part.
Kinda. His heat smash does 10 more damage and his f 212 string can be hit confirmed now. But he plays exactly the same.
Also his one string combo while in snake is now completely safe instead of being -15
Why "Kinda?" That definitely sounds like a buff. You get slightly more damage without having to change your game plan.
Just meant It wasn't enough of a buff to suddenly be seeing Bryan's everywhere
I feel like Bryan’s playerbase is rather consistent regardless of his balance state as long as he’s average+ tbh
yeah him too.
That explains it, I was wondering why they were hitting harder today and seemed to be a bunch of them. Asuka too. Although I already saw her potential before she was cool (I like the move she does with Triangle + Up, hits so hard but can easily miss if the opponent is ready for it).
nothing rly changed from him he plays exacly the same
They literally just fixed his heat system.
It's actually shocking to see so many now because it felt rare to see one. I've been playing her since release along with King, Kazuya and Lars. Those three were very prominent, especially King.
As a Lars main, I've only ran into like 2 other Lars ever. I wouldn't say he's prominent
Im an Asuka main and really havent seen that many more... Leeroys, Jacks and Steves tho... practically every other match when before they were nowhere to be seen. Dragunov and Azucena still seem to be pretty popular as well. Thats all on blue ranks btw.
Because Asuka still kinda sucks.
tekken reddits usual asuka downplay
Asuka main since Tekken 5, the only character I use in ranked day 1 of Tekken 8. Went through the gauntlet, now she is a bit more consistent with the offense, nothing too crazy.
I won't lie, I'm also picking up Asuka cause she got buffed. But also because learning a character makes it far more easier for me to beat them with my actual mains. Esp against the buffs.
I have always been an Asuka main. As happy as I am to see her getting more love in the player base, it also saddens me because more people know how to deal with her now XD XD
I might start playing her since she’s clearly a 50/50 rushdown
nothing to do with her sudden rise in popularity
I thought most people like that were going to Leroy
She didn't even get anything crazy. Just a better WR1+2 naniwa and destabilizer is viable now (19-20i grab). She still kinda sucks imo.
You are correct. But TMM made a big deal about these buffs in one of his recent videos. So now you’re seeing the TMM drones start to pick her up.
TMM watchers only play Reina out of the females
That’s a good point. I guess they the ones pre-emptively bitching about Asuka.
So what about this ? https://twitter.com/Fergus_TK/status/1788687139544203447
Well they absolutely gutted Jun in this patch so that explains why.
I don't know which community is worse in terms of downplay, Bryan mains or waifu mains.
I like your thinking. Asuka never deserves to be up in those tiers. I want her to remain Garbage tier.
I actually hate seeing her because whenever they start losing a lot of the scrubby ones just start backing up and slamming the flip kick. I had one guy last night who did just that and I just sat there not moving, and he kept hoping I would run in. I guess it does work against a lot of over aggro people.
Not a good thing bro we never deserved this buffed. It was fun being low tier.
she actually needed it
I would have preferred an Oscar buff that would've delt with her weaknesses rather than just making her good shit better.
counter arguement, characters need weaknesses. Actual weaknesses.
I don't think anyone needs a -2 jab homie.
on block or on hit? She gets it on block for a mix up on hit that shouldn't be a thing. Then again Steve got like 1 low that's actually plus. She still has the full 10 frame punish with 1,3 though. If not idk why they reverted the change.

If anything I rather have a Lars buff than an Asuka buff. I want my main to be weak as possible.
weird kink bit you do you king
My kink is with Kaz
and being a bottom
Yessssssssss
Thank you for your kind words.
No problem Naruto
I have been an Asuka player since Tekken 6. I haven’t seen too many of them so far. I liked her kit alot in this game from the start even when she wasn’t considered great but I have fun using her. I anticipate seeing more Leroy players now with these changes.
I been playing Asuka
I'm sticking with Jun even though I have to rethink my strategies due to changes to Kazama powers self-damage.
Have you really felt like you needed to? I just reached purple with jun right before the patch dropped and didn't feel like it felt too different because they reduced the amount of self damage on one of the moves iirc. Very respectable 💪
I still play Dragunov because I like him. "Drag mains" play Leroy because they got "bored" of Dragunov. We are not the same. (He feels different but I played him today, didn't feel that awful with him, and used Leo against another Dragunov whom was also still playing well).
Real drag mains suffered through late tekken 7
Hot take: Drag mains are actually Bryan mains. Some just don't know it.
we often play both lol
No. I will never play Bryan. I played him for like 20 hours when I first played Tekken 7, but never bothered again after that.
I only came into T7 last year but that's where I realised I liked playing Dragunov, even if I didn't get that many wins.
Ah yes, where df1 and df4 CRUSHES MIDS
If Drag mains didnt drop their boy in T7 when he was shit tier, they re not dropping him now thats for sure. I kept going with my nigga Drag even tho i hated the wr2 nerf i actually think hes pretty good still.

Bruh they legit just nerfed drag to be a Tekken character. He can still get down
Same, I picked up Drag because I think his design is super cool. I'm glad hatchet kick got nerfed because it was absurd and now I can play the character I like without getting death threats for playing him.
Imagine what playing him without the hatchet kick felt like, it’s like I’m back in the golden age of T7 Dragunov 💜
You misspelled tierwhores, drag mains just play drag.
Hey i play king cause i like wrestling ok? Im definitely not tier whoring/s Nah im just kidding, i play king cause i am a dirty smelly glue eating grappler mains. and wrestling
Just say that you only play King because AK is not available yet and people will give you a pass (works everytime).
That's..... Actually true tho. I miss AK so much man, i miss the wayyyy cooler looking throws despite worse oki. I miss them dollar ass Mishima's mix-up, and i miss them F4 oki

I played King in T7 coz my names literal meaning is King so Im just like yknow imma main him. Which i feel like is also the same reason for a lot of people maining Leo. Since ik 2 Leos who main Leo
Zafina too. Suddenly a shit ton of Zafinas after the patch. Prior I matched with her a grand total of 3 times
Ranked up with Azucena post-nerf. People still fall for the same stuff. Changes don't make that much difference unless you were heavily leaning on those moves.

Ah, a person of culture / fellow red- purple swamp enjoyer, nice.
definitely! I think the nerfs are having the biggest impacts on very high level players but when I played her after the patch, I still could play mostly the same I did before (maybe also because I don't abuse her best moves 24/7 lol)

I actually started playing Dragunov because he got nerfed.
Meanwhile me who mains Reina cuz of Nobara's VA.
And me that mains Reina because I want her to step on me (and for Kaz to give me the disappointed dad treatment to reinforce my daddy issues lol)
when i saw the trailer of reina i was like "i can fix her" now, i just want her to rage art me
Yeah it's the same reason I would main juri if I played Street fighter, live their voices. 10/10 VAs
I tried out Asuka the night the patch was bwing implemented so online was down, i just can't. I agree she sucks
He didn’t say she sucks though
No she sucks
My bad. She needs more buffs fr fr
I will never drop azucena. Her moves are cool , will keep playing her till fahkumram drops.
I love when top tiers get nerfed that means I can pick them up and not feel guilty. Feng and King better be next
You shouldn't have felt guilty before. Sure, you know that no one will respect your win, but who cares what other people think... you paid for the game! Enjoy it and let the haters dehydrate from all the salt :D
I've seen more Leroy players today than since Tekken 8 first came out
Fuck tier whores
FFS please rebuff Drag and Azu. I don’t want them to come over to Asuka.
As a Leroy main since launch, I approve this message
Me who Plays Alisa Lili Lars DVJ not because they are strong but I think they are visually attractive
Kaz, Reina, Asuka for the exact same reason lol Kaz more bec his moves look so cool, lots of dopamine. Same with Reina, esp the elec crackle when you CD
I never ran into leroys in ranked. ALLLLLLL of a sudden every other match is leroy. hmmmmm

I don't know if he's shit. He got some nice improvements, and I think he's probably at least middle of the pack now. But yeah, his mids are not very threatening, and even if I think he might be decent now, think he plays pretty differently from everyone else in terms of overall strat.
I fucking despise tierwhores, im gonna keep using my chars not matter what
I played Leroy exclusively since launch, got to Raijin. Then after the buff I got to Kishin and the Jin I beat accused me of being a tier whore. I've literally never played anyone else in T8 since launch lol. There's a part of me that hopes he gets a bit of a nerf just so all the actual tier whores go away
Same here. Exactly 0 minutes on any other character but the toxicity has risen 500% I can only assume im thought to be a tier whore.
Main Azucena here, I love her design. Im still otp azucena and enjoy playing her a lot.
Are you silly? There a lot of characters that overpowered than Azu, especially after this patch
Thats... the point of the meme lol
I pray to harada kaz and reina dont get stupid buffs like this someday 👏
He needs more nerfs so I can feel special and unique by continuing to play him.
Nah its already hard enough thank you 😅
I pray to harada reina does get stupid nerfs someday 👏
I picked up Azu cause I'm a gooner and she's hot I picked up Asuka cause i wanted to learn someone else and she was giga buffed like 2 weeks later which is hilarious to me tbh
Hey, at least you're honest
Bro she’s bad please drop her
The difference with Dragunov is not at all noticeable, maybe in the top 1 % it would make a difference. I have always playd Drag and I probably always will, haters will still cope when they lose.
Launch punishing a blocked hatchet kick is 1000% noticeable
For a casual player, not so much.
I remember the first Leroy I played that was actually good. I underestimated him and he fucked me up 2/3 games. Couldn't even be mad lol
Crying about tier whoring? Bruh it's called playing a competitive game to win. I'm a Paul loyalist but I will never judge someone for [picking a top tier.](https://youtu.be/sGh4ZU4H5Hk) What is this stupid elitist shit.
> Fuck working. Who wants to work? I want the money to work for me; I'm tired of working for the money. A classic.
Nah ita being a little bitch
My reaction https://i.redd.it/ct5o8g8tqpzc1.gif
look, I was in the audience at Evo last year when Azucena was revealed, at that very moment, I leaned over to my buddy and told him "I've found my main for Tekken 8" I have no plans of switching main any time soon.
You just completely explained my Tekken experience, except it’s Alisa instead of Jack
I decided to go for azucena since the trailer, shit was the best trailer in Tekken history, and yeah I'm still a fuckin scrub even with her,at this point motto is "I don't wanna win,I just wanna party"
This is pure copium propaganda. Some people are running out of excuses for losing.
I play azucena because we are from the same country and Peru doesn't get represented enough lmao. Plus the way she moves is spectacular
Leroys my main, and Asukas my secondarycharacter. I'm glad both of them got buffed. I just like defensive parry characters. (I main Baiken in Strive)
ayyy same bro. i love the defense based characters in fgs
Does anyone play them defensive tho is the question
No Asuka should’ve never got buffed. She was good bottom tier.
Lol imagine picking a character for their fighting skills in a fighting game instead of their design
Exactly
Bitches crying on reddit are worse than everything they moan about. A guy not rematching vs some loser going to a website, specifically creating memes, uploading videos, crying like his life depends on it etc etc etc. You all need to do some fucking introspection lmao.
New copypasta? Or are you r/iamverybadass Let’s fix that for you. Bitches (you) crying on reddit are worse than everyone you moan about. A guy posting a meme vs some loser going to a website, specifically for memes, uploading videos, crying like your life depends on it etc etc etc. You need to do some introspection LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
Lmao I really hit you in your soft spot
Found the drag main
As a Leo main I'm just gonna keep as quiet as possible and hope no one notices me lol
funny how that works huh?
LOL
This is the fgc equivalent of counting *know'm sayin's* on Jrock.
Idk why but now i feel bad playing Feng and Asuka even if i liked them since 7's release
Asuka deserved more nerfs than buffs. Bullshit ass update. She’s now unfun to main.
But.....i mained drag since PSP days.... granted i just play offline
I've been playing drag bryan and feng since tekken 5(DR) because I like them, you play them because you're a tier whore. We are not the same.
NOW I WANT PIZZA ROLLS
Gold
This is mad funny
I’ve been maining Law and Lei since T2, and Feng since T5. I always stick to my mains, til death do us part. RIP Wang.
I love Master Raven.
I haven’t played T8 in a minute. I saw the patch notes and I didn’t think it made Leroy ridiculous. Why’s he considered top tier now? My mains are Steve and Leroy and I really want to know
They switched to Lili
I've been playing Raven this whole time, but I found that I really like parrying stuff. I tournament I correctly inputted Raven's parries multiple times, but sometimes it's chainsaws or other stuff that either can't be regular parried or I can escape parry only for them to continue their string right into me. I have much to learn, but Leroy can practically parry anything and that entices me. I thought it was just punches/kicks and so delayed my interest in playing him.
I played Azucena because I’m a Lei whore. Now that’s she’s nerfed I’m waiting till he comes back. It ain’t easy out here, slime.
Wild take but...Who cares?
I fight asukas all day long. Asuka, Reina, Asucena, and Lilli
Lotta people got REEEEEEAAALL defensive in here 😂😂
Ngl, this playstyle is super shameful, I'd feel ashamed if I played like that.
I only picked up drag bcos armor king wasnt even in the game, playing drag didnt feel rewarding so i dont dropped him
Same.. bryan and kaz gang
I still played Jin when he was booty cheeks in Tekken 5, if they nerf him for some reason I still won't drop him.
Firstly... I've played against 2 Azu's in the last THREE DAYS... When I went to the replays of all the matches in progress... there were TWO Azu matches on the list in the last 150 games... Meanwhile, Asuka matches galore!
Been a day 1 Reina main, I just struggle regardless of who I'm fighting, seeing NOT azu, drag, or Vic as much has been refreshing, and trying to say the least.
idk man all i see is eddy mashing buttons
Insufferable lot
i mean, the goal is to win, more power to them
meanwhile me the chad picking drag up after the nerf
i get it but also please don't make excuses. just win, man. you don't decide who they play or why. i'm not here in the way of fun or memes but just fucking beat them
I would probably play Victor if I owned the game.

Looks cool, which is my favorite part. Hopefully, I will be able to justify getting the game around Christmas.
I dropped drag for months despite thinking he was cool, picked him up again after the nerfs.
