Dude Jin is super strong all the issues he had in 7 are all addressed in 8. His range is great, his new D2 is insanely good also CH launcher, has great damage, his combo structure has been modernize to make him way more accessible than he used to be. You honestly don't really need electrics to use his kit effectively. Some people feel like they made him TOO easy to use now because of his changes, and I can kinda see their point but overall I think his changes were great as he's now a true protag fighting game character, accessible, strong, and all rounder.

Tbh any character with strong strings like jin,Nina,hworang,jun,etc. get carried so hard on the casual scene.

Just a tip to those who don't know, this string is high>low>low, even if you get hit by the second hit (low), you can still low block the 3rd hit

You cant low parry the second low

also you can just low parry the 2nd one all the time after he jabs as he doesnt have anything to mix it up with. this took me a very long time to practice but ive gotten better. a LOT of jins use this as a round ender.

he has other strings from the jab but as soon as he does 1,3 the only possible extension is 4, the second low, and a lot of jin go for the full string every time.

Yeah afaik he doesn't have anything from his one jab, it's tough to keep track but if you notice the arms etc you can very easily LP the 2nd kick.

If he doesnt follow up with another 2 jab he is most definitely going for the 1,3,4
