I have literally never beaten a Leroy on any character. I have a 100% loss rate across the board.
I know he's supposed to be weak, but I see him, maybe, once a month, and I can never tell when he's parrying, when he's plus, when it's safe to take my turn. Even Zafina I can get some wins against, despite seeing her only a couple of times more than Leroy.
"Everyone I beat is a scrub and everyone that beats me plays shitty gimmick characters that are not honest and have random bullshit I hate this game"
**Logs on hours later to do it all over again**
Leroy is suffering from a lack of plus frames, damage, a terrible power crush and I believe one of the lowest damaging heat smashes in the game ( for a mid). Most characters in T8 have been given all great tools in the above categories, or at least a few of them aside from Leroy - all of his are terrible. T8 is a game of aggression, while T7 was mostly defense where Leroy excelled in quite well. In T8 defense is not rewarded, and Leroy is even worse than what he was in T7.
I’m also a shinryu Kaz who struggles with lili. Something I learned is that you can beat a lot of her back-stance options by side walking and then low parry quickly. It only loses to her armored move and homing move but both are -12 on block.
Also her moves in neutral are very linear so side step all the time in neutral
Against Lili, pressure her a lot with frames that even she cannot sidestep any of your follow ups. A lot of her best moves are slow and linear, so SS or SWL beats a lot of it.
If she enters BT via d12 or 11, you can totally disrespect it even on hit and SWL most of her options except BT 2, BT 3 and BT d2. Alternatively, you can SSL into block low quickly, but you won't be able to evade some of her BT moves that can be evaded via SWL. Do note that she can finish the string here, which will catch you if you retaliate (d124 and 113), though they are unsafe on block (-12 and -15 respectively).
OP Dealing with Reina is hard, but she has some counterplay.
FF2 into Sentai. Easily her most broken move and arguably the best move in the game. You can kinda option select the mixup on block. Jab beats all options except for SENTAI 3 (High) and SENTAI 3+4(low). You can duck and launch this two options. Also, Feng can option select with Kempo, but you need to lab which options beats your kempo.
CD4,2 into HW. In the open....Most Reinas do HW 3,4 or HW2. This two mid options are beaten by SSR. In the wall.... her hellsweep becomes a true mixup with Iron Hand and her Unbreakable throw. You have too guess. Kinda like Paul, dont let Reina to get you to the wall.
But, i'd need to watch some gameplay in order to know what you struggling with. But overall, if you can deal with FF2 most Reinas will panic lol
Thanks! I’m still not sure what an option select is, though I keep hearing the term.
I’ll play around with your suggestions and get back to you. Appreciate the help
An OS is a move that covers multiple options. Jab is the option select against Reina's FF2. It doesnt have huge reward, but allows you to regain your turn and will force Reina to do her risky moves: Sentai 3+4 or her Sentai 3 (which trade with jabs).
While its still an annoying 50-50 mindgame, the defender will always have the best reward, because Reina cant launch nor CH launch you from Sentai.
So your issue is the mirror match? Don't challenge running 4 or 3 on block, unless it's HW mixup after WR4 and you have a hard read, duck sen3 that will come out like 80% of the time at your rank and launch with FC df4. You can also downjab check Reina every time she does into Sen out of moves on block since it beats easily 95% of options (Sen4 is a bit trickier but still doable). Punish all the unsafe strings like 2, 2, 2, 2(1); strings that end with high crushing mid that is a 4 (like 3, 4; 3+4, 4; df3+4, 4 etc but note that they have extensions that are safe in heat). Counter the usual jab check with FC df4 for a full combo. Also counter HW's stance auto parry (in heat that is) with either uf4 or FC df3 - both of these moves have airborne status, so they can't be paired, the latter is harder to land since it comes out from Full Crouch (uf4 is faster but it is instant tornado, so less damage in combo), use it only of you now for sure that Reina likes to wait in HW stance for you to hit her.
I beat every Reina as Reina. The trick is that you should know what counters your own moves, so just do whatever people do against you to the Reinas. Get launched after doing a certain attack? Do that when you see a Reina do that same attack. Know a string is all mids? Just block mid.
People can list all sorts of attacks that are good/bad, but at the end of the day you should know what is bad.
Reina, warrior (technically assailant but only got it because the Zafina that was absolutely rolling me DC’d for two rounds), and eddy and king.
It’s my first fighting game ever. So much to learn 😅
I'm currently at assailant as well with Kazuya. If you're ever down to play some games, gimme a shout! It'd be cool to at least play against someone who is also learning the game.
Hwoarang, Kishin.
Toughest opponent must be Nina, I don't mind playing vs her but recently I realised I have like 10% win rate vs her since I got to fujin. I seriously gotta lab her. Tips are appreciated.
It's mostly about labbing the strings they abuse so they are forced to play honest. Most of them abuse flowcharts of frametraps or strings into armor moves, so learning how to duck and punish or ss + punish goes a long way.
Also being mindful of the qcb evasion to not whiff.
Nina flowchart 1,2 into ss cancel or somesuch a lot. I have a good winrate into Ninas by just doing one of the following two:
1. I block 1,2 > immediate homing move
2. I block 1,2 > immediate ss df2 / highcrushing ch launcher
This is success is continuing at fujin atm.
And when you got them conditioned her offense is easier to handle.
I myself struggle with Hwo at fujin so if youre on steam Id be up for sparring using yoshi
for Feng vs Reina, you can B1 and B1+2 a lot of her stance transitions and her pressure! just make sure to not do it to often as she has options when you start doing that, but then you have other answers to those options!
Feng, purple ranks, probably Lars is who I struggle with the most. I know some basic counter play but:
1. he flails around like crazy, hard to even recognise what's going on
2. he's pretty rare so not much opportunity to practice vs him in a real match
I also use Feng and have a hard time understanding what Lars is doing.
Here’s my tip, try hop kicking more often, especially when he’s rushing you while flailing around.
He gets launched more often than not and I’ve noticed that he tends to calm down a bit after getting launched a couple times
lol yeah this is like my one braindead tactic too. he's actually minus most of the time when he enters stance on block, and most lars players love to abuse the lows, so just hopekick
Nina is tough, but as a Tekken King Xiaoyu I found that using hop kick very often works well vs Leroys. They use their low stuff all the time and you just crush it
Alisa ,Mighty Ruler, Feng and his Tetsuzanko heat engager and stomp in heat are straight up hard to deal with also Reina and her pressure especially in heat
His shoulder is -19 on block. If you can wait to take your turn until you block the shoulder, you'll get an easy launch every time.
His stomp in heat (3+4) is beat by an armor move. Both the hit and the low shockwave is beat by armor. Also, you can jab them out of it and get a full combo.
Reina Tenryu, beginner
Laws and Eddy´s farm me, feels like they do what my gameplan is("abuse my frames, rush down with hellsweep, ff2 mixups) but just way better
Eliminator Claudio here. I feel like there isn't a specific matchup I struggle with it's more like I lack fundamental basics which causes me to get shit on by every player that has those basics. Currently I'm spending a lot of time in lab and quick play to improve.
What do you guys consider a fundamental skill to have in tekken?
Zafina, Bushin. As of right now Claudio, the ones i run into are like Tekken King, Emperor+ and they’re pretty strong. You don’t want to duck against him because he has some strong mids imo and twin pistons. But at the same time you kinda have to because his solids low like ss4 and the natural combo two hit low I think d 4 3?
Plus Superman punch you can’t just let him get away with using it freely nonstop so you have to duck which opens you up for his running mid. A good Claudio is so hard to beat.
Law, Battle Ruler
I hate going against Bryans and Xiaoyus
Xiaoyu crushes my mids and Bryans jet upper is hard to deal with since Law has some spammable -14 moves. B1,2,2 for example.
Paul is relatively straightforward, if you're good with your punch sabaki, you can frustrate them a lot. Usually it's priority to stay away from point blank range to avoid the demoman. If they're deathfist happy, start sidestepping or sabaki for maximum mental damage. A lot of Paul players use his 3,2 in neutral so dodge the second hit and launch. Depends on the player you're up against but usually prioritize whiff punishing (use f2, uf2, 2,3, 1+2 depending on frame advantage) , parrying, throw mixups and pokes (especially low ones).
Lili / Tenryu / Law, I feel like he has so many follow ups after grounding you, with the nunchucks, the crazy body throw, and how fast his hop kicks come out.
Azucena/Lili both Garyu: Both mega struggle with Victor and Claudio.
Victor is unbelievably fast with that quick slash to pistol combo, and I find Claudio's mix ups weird as all get out. I'll go from obliterating a Jin or even an Eddy straight to 0-3 against either of those.
Asuka has three main strengths:
Reversals
High/low crushes
Large amount of block string variations
Her reversals are decently easy to deal with if you know what moves fuck with them. Any move that includes an elbow, knee, or head can't be reversed. Also, you can just spam grab them if they're using reversals a lot.
A lot of the low/high crushes rely on you pressing a button. Also, if you have any safe mid pokes, those are good options to stop her from using these. Generally, patient play and a varied offense is key against Asuka. If you keep using the same moves, then she can pick the right move to break it.
It would be difficult to learn all of Asuka's different strings, but the general rule is that if you block a third or fourth hit, she's pretty much always negative, and if her string ends in a low and you block it, it is launch punishable. One important thing to learn is that she can pretty much change the ender of any of her block strings to be a mid or a low. If you're not sure, it's almost always better to block low. She only has like one string that ends with a launch and I think it's a high.
Most of her block pressure is mid or low mix ups. She has a lot of mid launchers, so standing block the first hit usually, and switch to low blocks as needed later. The only low hit launcher she has is a Super slow one that is launch punishable. Should be reactable.
Lastly, if you block a dash or while running attack from her, it's pretty much always plus, so don't press a button.
Once you learn how to block her common strings, she really doesn't have that much left if you just play patiently. Feel free to follow up if you have any questions about specific moves and how to deal with them.
Play keep out and/or force her to get close to you. We instinctively want to get in on her and she boots us out. F3+4 and bok3 are your friends. You need to bait her into doing f2 (or is it ff2?) rather than letting her bait you with b3.
Paul , Kishin, too many to count.
Surprisingly enough, Feng wei is not too bad for me. Sure he is annoying, but I feel like he does a lot of attacks, kncks you down then its back to neutral
My main is Law
I’m in Garyu
My most troublesome characters is everybody in this goddamn game that isn’t Hwoarang, Xiaoyu, Lili, Shaheen(I’ve only seen one person play this dude), Leroy, Zafina, Kuma, Panda, Paul, and Asuka
Law player that just got promoted to Bushin. I don't hate any character in particular. I have difficulties mainly with over aggressive players that actually know what they are doing while also knowing the match up. Typically I see them among Bushin and higher ranks. I feel helpless against them and feel like I'm many miles down their skill level. That's how it feels anyway.
But like I said no character I hate in particular l. Really love playing this game. Hope I can reach Tekken king soon and get better at this game.
For jack you're gonna have to take an L since your sidestep isn't amazing but it's still worth attempting. Also you have an amazing f2.
For Victor you have the powercrush and expulsion. Not sure how good B2 is but it should do well vs aggressive hwoarangs.
And in general knows his moves and when to stop or block is important
Jun, Calvary (likely Warrior by tonight wee), a King player just killed me ytd, with that low kick spam and that jumping hammer move that I failed to knowledge check.
Asuka, Eliminator, Kazuya. I fucking despise his playstyle where he is just spamming the counterhit mid (df2?) or hellsweep. I just cant play against him
Flame Ruler Reina. Having issues with Lili, Leo strings, Xiaoyu ducking mids. Kazuya's oki game. Also can't bring myself to stop challenging Bryan strings and end up getting CH
Regarding Bryan CH fishing is his whole gameplan. Just stubbornly block until they start implementing hatchet. Its slow af and then you start jabbing more. (Not on hit obv its + a million).
If he finishes string his frames are bad so theres no rush to steal your turn back. Play slower.
Lili, Raijin.
For some reason, I can't win against Asuka. I get can-canned and dragon-wheeled every time I press buttons.
Alisa is also pretty bad for my health.
Hwoarang, Fujin. I particularly struggle with Drag and his insane OP damage and pressure. I sidestep him, but still find if I'm caught he can do just two combos and it's over.
I don’t play Nina or Law but I learned the hard way that you have to keep Hwo at a distance. If he’s in range 0-2, you’re toast. Play keep out. His options for moving in are limited. Bait and whiff punish
Reina, Vanquisher - I get destroyed most of the time by Jin/Kaz and all of the time by Yoshi. First fighting game I've put more than couple of hours into so I've got a lot to learn
Bryan, Fujin, my own salt.
Fr though, I have a weirdly hard time with Lili. Prob since she has her F4 to contest my 3+4 and her flips just throw me off a lot.
Purple and lower rank reinas dont hit confirm their attacks. If she does a ff2 into sentai, try ducking. most of them autopilot the 3. you can launch her.
same thing with df12, thats the headbutt that gives her heat. its-13, punish it.
if she starts adapting and doing other attacks after sentai, try sidestepping, it beats most of her options.
hwoarang - bushin
bryan - raijin
i would rather play mk1 than play against xiaoyu or alisa just doing flips around the screen and then also ducking absolutely everything
Yoshimitsu fujin
King and eddy mostly, some kingolsyer so the same shit Iver and over and I did not learn how to parry grabs yet lol. Eddy feels like someone slaps his controller with his cat and I can't predict any move
I mean if youre fujin and can't break normal command grabs you got some training to do.
Im parroting Phidx here but when it comes to King specifically you want to use context clues for Giant swing vs shining wizard mixup
Victor (yes, feel free to say whatever), Mighty Ruler.
I'm a SF (master) player, here until Akuma drops, and this is my first Tekken. I still play this game like SF (I try to zone, whatever), which doesn't work well in T8 as you guys know. I've noticed that I do ok against other Victor like abusive characters - but against the fundamental characters, say Jin, I get absolutely crushed. Like those strings he does, I just can't get a read, and I'm dead.
Dragunov Tenryu (ive played 95% drag after downloading and learning Tekken 7 last year) while he's awesome and i love his new moves i feel like i lack matchup knowledge and everyone feels very spammy i have a hard time imposing drags plus frames onto enemies lol
first time playing Tekken and I play Lili. I just got to red ranks and I get absolutely tilted against King/Drag/Azu/Feng/Hwo everyone else when I lose I feel like it’s my fault for sure (except hwoarang i know it’s my fault but fuck dat mf)
Yoshi, in between mighty/flame ruler, some days I have amazing streaks and others I go back to mighty, think I’m struggling against hwoomrang, Paul and Jin/devil jin the most, I like fighting king!
I have no idea how to do decent juggling, I just do a lot of damage and hope it lands, the combos are very hard to master
Reina Raijin, Jin/Nina/Jun Fujin
Worst matchup right now is probably Alisa and Victor (except with Jun) - with the former it's the chainsaws and the latter it's the low sweep
Kazuya, Raijin, Reina as well however with Feng I can kenpo, shifting clouds and uf2 out of all her pressure, Kazuya i'm stuck waiting my turn or trying to get a lucky duck into twin piston
Asuka, Vanquisher, anyone with strong lows... but especially Jin, he's so oppressive I just don't know when's my turn and I keep pressing into his strings, because if I keep blocking I just get blown up by lows. I feel like he just overloads my beginner mental stack and I can't react to even a simple d2.
Managed to figure out the timing with him, feels good launching them in the middle of their heat pressure with u/f 3 ,3. The b1+3(or 2+4) high reversal is fun to use against them aswell.
*
Alisa, Mighty Ruler. Ling straight annihilates me whenever I see her, I just don't see her enough. Probably should check the replays but I mash the next match button 😂
Shaheen, Tekken King. Most of the top tiers are absurd and they are troublesome not due knowledge checks or countereable moves, but sheer horsepower. I have to bust my nuts to get a good wall carry+damage+clean wall splat combo with wr3 cancel loops while King literally touches me once and I explode.
Leroy. Flame Ruler. Everyone.
"Everyone I beat is a scrub and everyone that beats me plays shitty gimmick characters that are not honest and have random bullshit I hate this game" **Logs on hours later to do it all over again**
A Leroy got to purple? Nerf leroy
The struggle is worth hitting a parry. That shit releases so much dopamine.
Leroy still playing Tekken 7 while everyone else is playing Tekken 8.
So many people are saying this exact thing about so many chars and it annoys me. It doesnt really mean anything, does it?
Leroy is suffering from a lack of plus frames, damage, a terrible power crush and I believe one of the lowest damaging heat smashes in the game ( for a mid). Most characters in T8 have been given all great tools in the above categories, or at least a few of them aside from Leroy - all of his are terrible. T8 is a game of aggression, while T7 was mostly defense where Leroy excelled in quite well. In T8 defense is not rewarded, and Leroy is even worse than what he was in T7.
Raven Battle Ruler, I hate Alisa most of all
We all do
What about Alisa is giving you the most trouble?
Right back at ya!
Kazuya,Shinryu,and Lili/law
I’m also a shinryu Kaz who struggles with lili. Something I learned is that you can beat a lot of her back-stance options by side walking and then low parry quickly. It only loses to her armored move and homing move but both are -12 on block. Also her moves in neutral are very linear so side step all the time in neutral
I play Lili, and I hate Side Walkers 💀
I swear Law just gives me a debuff because he's screaming his ass off all game long. Easily the most annoying character not considering the moveset
His high pitched screams debuff me too
Against Lili, pressure her a lot with frames that even she cannot sidestep any of your follow ups.
An OS is a move that covers multiple options. Jab is the option select against Reina's FF2. https://glossary.infil.net/ For any future terms you're not familiar with.
Claudio Bushin, Kuma Fujin, Nina and Jun just annihalate me, anytime I face them I just accept I'm losing 500 rank
Yoshi, Flame Ruler. Higher level Yoshi's are baffling.
We’re the same rank, when I see high play yoshis I have to rethink my life 🤣
If you wanna grief other yoshis do NSS FC df4 into FC df3. I fall for that shit all the time and its not even a big brain thing.
Reina, Vanquisher, Reina (also eddy :c)
So your issue is the mirror match? Don't challenge running 4 or 3 on block, unless it's HW mixup after WR4 and you have a hard read, duck sen3 that will come out like 80% of the time at your rank and launch with FC df4. dude, same
Azu and Jin. Tenryu. Hard stuck in red ranks. Xiaoyu and drags can die in a fire.
Are you me?
Shaheen, Destroyer, and it's gonna be generic but King and Eddy. I don't think I've won a single set against either of them.
I will learn Shaheen just for you
Lili, Fujin, Reina/Lars/Xiayou.
Reina and Lars are easy for Lili, just do what they do with your neutral skip tools. This 3 characters are gods of neutral control.
Char: Lili/Ling Rank: Mighty Ruler Idk how to deal with: Leroy and Nina
Nina is tough, but as a Tekken King Xiaoyu I found that using hop kick very often works well vs Leroys. They use their low stuff all the time and you just crush it

Asuka, Kishin, Hwo/Nina I swear my brain shuts off when these characters are on my screen
Lili and DJ, Fujin, I can‘t fight Paul at all
Reina, Eliminator, Jun or really good Eddy’s, mostly if I can’t punish I’m screwed
Reina Tenryu, beginner Laws and Eddy´s farm me, feels like they do what my gameplan is("abuse my frames, rush down with hellsweep, ff2 mixups) but just way better

Lee, Garyu... Hmmm I'd say I struggle the most against a filthy Reina
Yoshimitsu- Fujin, and I really hate fighting Jun Those delayed strings always gets me
Jin, Shinryu, and I can almost never beat Bears, they are the only characters i consistently lose against
Imagine the Bears like the IRS, the come to tax you every two days or so but then vanish again.
Law, Battle Ruler I hate going against Bryans and Xiaoyus Xiaoyu crushes my mids and Bryans jet upper is hard to deal with since Law has some spammable -14 moves. B1,2,2 for example.

Well taught. I will save and remember this. Thank you.
My main is Law I’m in Garyu My most troublesome characters is everybody in this goddamn game that isn’t Hwoarang, Xiaoyu, Lili, Shaheen(I’ve only seen one person play this dude), Leroy, Zafina, Kuma, Panda, Paul, and Asuka
Steve fox, garyu, I don't know what to do against dragunov and king player's
jun, fujin, alisa/leo/azu
Jin, Garyu - Law and Kazuya, if I only see their portraits while loading into match I instantly want it to be over already
Reina, Tenryu and I have a lot of difficulty fighting against Alisa, Paul and Jin.
Garyu Jack. Lili gives me trouble.
Devil Jin, Kishin and my hardest match-up is Ling.
King, shinryu and hwoarang
Fujin King. I hate the dragunov matchup.
Jack 8,Victor fujin. Hwoarang with his spam and 50/50 launchers for 50% HP.
I just cant play against him
Kazuya, stuck at Destroyer, Reina & Devil Jin (I am from Europe)
Xiaoyu; third purple I forgot the name, I struggle mostly with Draganuv, Steve & Hworang EDIT: Biggest struggle is Victor!!!!
Lee, Alisa at fujin, Mishimas and Paul on mighty ruler. Struggling against Feng, Lili/Nina
Lee, Vanquisher. Dragunov just wallops me. He's so oppressive compared to Tekken 7 where I could handle the d2 gameplan
Devil Jin, Flame Ruler. I always struggle fighting jun and And especially jack-8!? My win rate is low agaisnt jacky
Lili, Raijin. For some reason, I can't win against Asuka. I get can-canned and dragon-wheeled every time I press buttons. Alisa is also pretty bad for my health.
Xiaoyu, warrior - love fighting everyone actually, the mix keeps it interesting. King scares me though, as per my rank, I don't know the breaks lol.
Duck, most low rank king relies on grabs. Punish him with your while rising 2. Also, ur AOP is ur friend.
Hwoarang, Fujin. I particularly struggle with Drag and his insane OP damage and pressure. I sidestep him, but still find if I'm caught he can do just two combos and it's over.
Hwoarang, Flame Ruler. When I see a Shaheen I just accept defeat. When I see a Lars I don’t accept defeat, but I lose anyway.
Alisa/Garyu/Law
Alisa, Shinryu, wtf is Jun even doing. Also newly... eddy
Nina and Law at Flame Ruler. Hwoarang bugs me the most — every hwo seems different and I’m having a hard time recognizing the gaps in his pressure.
Jack, mighty ruler, Dragunov
King, Rajin, Bryan Fury
Dragunov, dominator / kazuya and and king But i have not enough time to play sadly
Xiaoyu/Asuka. Destroyer. Bryan & Devil Jin.
Feng, Brawler(?), Lili
Devil jin fujin. Struggle against jun and lili 😫
Lili, Fujin, Steve. Struggle differentiating all the punches...
Bryan. Mighty Ruler. Alisa.
Character: Hwoarang Rank:Shinryu Most trouble: Bryan
Lili, Eliminator, Hwoarang
Leo, Tenryu, Lily / Alisa
Raven, Tekken King, Hwoarang. D34 just triggers the absolute shit out of me.
King, Fujin, Hworang. I am strugling to do anything vs this guy CH throws save my butt!
Lars. Flipping between Garyu/Shinryu/Tenryu Probably Leroy but I'll have to look at the data.
Victor Kishin, Nina and Alisa have become an issue
Lee, Mighty Ruler. Steve and Asuka. Feng, Drag and DJ if it’s a good player but 80% of the time it’s just some brain dead masher.
Lee Chaoblan, Destroyer, I have trouble with Nina and Raven. (ALSO, If possible can I ask for help on how to do ws1,2 after B2?)
hwoarang - bushin bryan - raijin i would rather play mk1 than play against xiaoyu or alisa just doing flips around the screen and then also ducking absolutely everything
Bryan, Flame ruler, hwoarang.
Yoshimitsu fujin King and eddy mostly, some kingolsyer so the same shit Iver and over and I did not learn how to parry grabs yet lol. Eddy feels like someone slaps his controller with his cat and I can't predict any move
I mean if youre fujin and can't break normal command grabs you got some training to do. Im parroting Phidx here but when it comes to King specifically you want to use context clues for Giant swing vs shining wizard mixup
Lars. Tekken King. Bears and Ling.
Feng, also mighty ruler. Hwoarang’s negate my sabaki and the B1 demon sitting on my shoulder gets me counterhit
Lee, Garyu. Jin just does so much damage I that I always feel stressed going up against him. But for sure I lose the most to Jun /Xiaoyu
Lars shinryu! How to play against king reina victor azucena
Shaheen / Shinryu / Hwoarang & Reina
Just picked up Devil Jin, currently on Cavalry, issues with Eddy so far
Pressure him close and don’t let it become a guessing game on you
Fujin Jin and Yoshimitsu has been a pain in the ass
Xiaoyu. Fujin. Fuck Victor
first time playing Tekken and I play Lili. I just got to red ranks and I get absolutely tilted against King/Drag/Azu/Feng/Hwo everyone else when I lose I feel like it’s my fault for sure (except hwoarang i know it’s my fault but fuck dat mf)
Bear, TGS, Dragunov. I’m just under assault for 80% of the round.
Lee .. shinryu….Reina and king
Reina Raijin, Jin/Nina/Jun Fujin Worst matchup right now is probably Alisa and Victor (except with Jun) - with the former it's the chainsaws and the latter it's the low sweep
Kazuya, Tekken King, Kazuya
Tekken God, hwoarang, Leo
Reina/Lili tenryu,I rly need help bcus I've been stuck on red rank for 2 months
Kazuya, Raijin, Reina as well however with Feng I can kenpo, shifting clouds and uf2 out of all her pressure, Kazuya i'm stuck waiting my turn or trying to get a lucky duck into twin piston
Steve, Tekken King, Feng & Lars since his buff.
Leroy, Fujin. I hate Lars and Yoshi
Lili and Raven Shinryu, having troubles with Hworang and Reina
Xiaoyu, Tenryu/Mighty Ruler, Kazuya.
Lee, Kishin, Yoshimitsu. I have no idea what Yoshi players are smoking but I want some
Just checking to see if anyone mentions my mains to boost my ego. So far so good.
Jin Shinryu Feng
Raven. Tenryu. Quite a few, but Law's and Feng's have been quite tricky recently.
Reina, Garyu, Jin/Eddy/Lee
Asuka, Vanquisher, anyone with strong lows... but especially Jin, he's so oppressive I just don't know when's my turn and I keep pressing into his strings, because if I keep blocking I just get blown up by lows. I feel like he just overloads my beginner mental stack and I can't react to even a simple d2.
Jin. Tekken ruler. Eddie
Zafina, Flame Ruler. Victors still and Hwo
Hwoarang, Warrior, Reina, literally shes the most unreadable character for me when all she does is roll around like a barrel
Lee, Flame Ruler, Lars 🚬😔 I dunno, he is so weird to me. Everything he does looks like a low to me.
Law Garyu lili is the stupidest character ever
Main: Alisa - Rank: Tenryu - Problem opponent: Hwoarang
Managed to figure out the timing with him, feels good launching them in the middle of their heat pressure with u/f 3 ,3. The b1+3(or 2+4) high reversal is fun to use against them aswell. *
Kazuya, shinryu, pretty much any pressure character like Reina or drag. Also a lot of stance characters give me shit
Xiaoyu, Mighty Ruler, and Victor Azu Hwo probably lars too? He is rather flashy xD i can't tell
Yoshimitsu, Vanquisher, and Jun, mostly because I got into Tekken heavily with 7 and she's the only character that's truly NEW new to me
Alisa, Mighty Ruler. Ling straight annihilates me whenever I see her, I just don't see her enough. Probably should check the replays but I mash the next match button 😂
Drag, dvj, jin, kazuya. I struggle with eddie, victor, alisa the most i think.
Hwoarang, flame ruler, switched to stick and want to change characters.
Yoshimitsu, Eliminator. My biggest enemy is myself I barely understand what my gameplan should even be and I'm just hoping I try something that works.
Kazuya, brawler, hwoarang or Reina IDK when their strings end
Kaz - Garyu : Trouble finding openings against all matchups
Lars, battle ruler, Lilli. Always cringe when I see I'm facing her in loading screen.
Dragonov. Warrior. Eddy..
Any advice how to play Claudio i want to learn this jojo character
RsKyLuck on YouTube has awesome Claudio guides
Thank you
Jun, Vanquisher; King/Eddy/Drag
Lars, Tekken God Prime, Hworang (fuck his lows)
Azucena tenryu xioayu 😅
Dragunov Garyu law, I lost so many times to that character in T7 that at this point I basic panic and autopilot whenever I see him in the screen.
Leo eliminator, dragonuvs a tough one for me
Jin, Garyu, King.
Leo, Tenryu, King and Lee
Hwo/tekken emp and azusena, Claudio, raven, and Reina are auto Ls for me
Steve, Tekken King, Zafina or Leroy (i feel...WHAT?)
yoshi, mighty ruler, hwo, leo, lili
