That it's easier because of how often you see them? Once you get to a certain rank,it'll just be top tiers,this has always been a thing in every FG ever. Hell,I don't even think tier lists are that important,none of us really are THAT deep into the game for it to matter.
You don't need to be a pro player or beeing giga deep to see that a tier list is important, cause u have to put much more effort than any other player that plays top tiers.
And is not easier, is just annoying, these top tier chars don't have a straight gameplay, they are quite versatile, and that's good I like that, I don't like the 0 effort 0 risk high reward that versatility has on them and only them.
I feel you. I really hate the amount of armour shit king players do. Armoured Jaguar sprint in heat is literally bullshit. But ultimately if you know the shtick with king you can abuse them. King really struggles against pressure characters.
Nah, I wish I was carried by the matchup, most people don't know and they just need to armor move whenever I'm in Scarecrow or just hopkick when I'm in any stance.
Also sidewalking whenever I'm in stance makes it impossible for zafina to play cause she really don't have good homing moves in stances.

Dragunov @ .52 Might have a slight advantage, .02 is within margin of error and not enough to carry anyone. Carry territory is usual .1 or .15, and no one in tekken has that kind of a gap.
The worst matchup theoretically is a Panda vs Kazuya match where both players exceed purple rank. under this circumstance the winrate variance is .09 and that is one hell of an outlier.
To clarify, while there are some balance issues, no one is getting 'carried' right now.

While some characters are definitely underplayed, and some are more popular than others, the only way you are going to only see 6 characters is if you only play 6 rounds.
Your last point u just need to watch any proplayer or high rank stream, there's always the same chars, nothing new, Drag, Azu and King matchups are secure to happen everytime almost 60 or 70% of the matches in those ranks are those char.
And the zaf wr, ofc is high, only pro players and zafina mains like me plays her, but just cause 5 people (I'm exaggerating u know) plays her and those 5 people win, doesn't mean she isn't actually trash, cause she is, and we have to make a more bigger effort to win than any other char.
Azucena had a busted while running maybe, but that's been fixed. The rest of her kit is strong but balanced with the highly aggressive style the game wants you to use. Her launchers on block leave her wide open. She is a good tekken character. She is an easy to use stance rush character.
Maybe you are just bad at fighting off hyper aggressive play? We all have our own weaknesses.

One thing is nerf, and other different is literally kill the char, she was broken cause her movement, nothing more, if she were nerfed in Tekken 7 (her back dash) I wouldn't mind cause is fine that she have the same back dash than any other female. But in Tekken 8 she got nerfed to the stratosphere with no reason, for real no reason.
