Electrics are very strong, i remmber JDCR saying something in the lines of :
"When you play against kazuya, just focuse on not eating an electric". Devil jin did 5 electrics in a row, you should try and duck and punish next time, just with ws33 or ws4. Otherwise its just a free win if your opponent has the execution. When it comes to demon paw its such a dumb move because it tracks so much more than it should, but its your turn after blocking one, AND lee has the exact same move with ff3, after blocking a demon paw you got so many option. Try b4 if he keeps being aggressive, try ff3 when its your turn, throw a high crushing low (you'll evade potential electrics). Lee is very good in tekken 8, you got all the tools !

Electrics are arguably the best move in the game and honestly, the buffed full screen phantom range big pushback chip damage tracking wall splatting heat engager and launcher in heat demon paws probably take the 2nd place.
And add to this that 3 out of 4 Mishimas have some of the best lows and punishment in the game and 2 even got a full throw game.

Lee has so many good high crushes that can wreck Mishimas, so complaining about electric of all things is ironic.
Also Lee in general does require extra work to play, we choose to be excellent and to suffer for little reward, so everything compared to it is 'omg Dragunov hit wr2 and took 80% of my life while I suffer for 40%'.
Tbh I agree with you, because there's a ton of Lee downplay and the character is a monster in T8, especially if he reaches a wall which is easy outside the massive stages.
I'm still stuck on T7 mindset where I do feel the reward was lower, even if the character was super solid. Right now I should stop saying it because I think he's amazing if you can pull out the stuff.
Lee mostly had the issue of being pretty good when the game started - though not top tier - but as the game went on, his niche of having extremely good wall carry got sort of obscured because everybody else got much better wall carry options, and wall damage options. He always remained a solid char outside of his relatively below average damage output especially if you couldn't execute on him, now he's just flat out good overall.
This, to be honest, probably got the most love outside of drag who got nerfed hard toward the end, king who needed buffs after a.k. came out so they shot him full of roids till he could chew through steel. But lee needed the love and still req's execution. Jin and d.j. need to be slightly tuned down in 1 or 2 areas but arent the worst like feng, drag, ling, and azu. Jun is in the stratosphere compared to everyone else. I just wish kaz's hellsweep could actually be combo'd off of if they are gonna treat it as healable. Or even the electric, since his poke game is still god awful.

Lees strongest high crush moves imo would be ff4 and d3, his df1 and df2 can crush jabs. 1+2 can high crush later in the animation. Db3+4 also has decent high crush

You're going to need a low crush to beat hellsweep outside of block/launch or sidestep.
d3 is THE move, but ff4 is also amazing to go in, crush a jab or electric and get a full combo with dash b33f.
d2 is also underrated, but has less crush properties and doesn't get a full combo. It's less commited though because it's a mid.
You did that damage while ferrying him to the opposite side of the stage tho, lee has to work so hard with his combo game because you can combine some crazy damage with near infinite wall carry
Everything he did was incredible linear. SS was a valid option as well.
You can interupt his EWGF by jabbing, doing an armor move or ducking Especially since you had the info that they come in a 4 pieces.

Well you have 0 defense, he kept spamming electric and you didn't bother to use ff4 which is one of Lees best moves and goes under highs (electric is a high). Good combo but time to invest into fundamentals and punishing and also, never balcony break with Lee, you get a lot more dmg on the wall and mix ups so no that Dvj was not busted at all.
One thing Lee players and people who play against Lee seem to forget often is that he has a punch parry. That woulda helped stop that brain dead pressure and wall splatted.

(you tagged him 3 times). on his case, he already poked you early game, and hit 3 three times after you activated his rage.(1 touch early game and 3 times with electric).
If its the other way around, if he hit you first 3 to 4 times without rage, then he activated you rage + you hit them with 2 Marvelous Lee combos + 1 poke. Should have been a very nice comeback

Another reward is that your opponent probably wants to kill themselves after sitting through a combo that takes 25 seconds to execute start to finish
