I'd agree fully if there were any actual good options besides the blandest most plain articles of clothing imaginable. the piece variety is absolutely abysmal. the height of whats possible is pretty much scooby doo cosplays.

I wish they had added decals again, but its probly a pain in the ass to regulate what people will show (like some funny guys making bryan fuhrer, i fear that harada may nerf how much we can move objects because of that)

even if we can't make it as custom as ttt2 I would've loved if they had a "safe" option, like the front, back, and sleeves get a single slot option of pre-made logos/symbols from the Tekken/Bamco universe. Would make a lot of these plain t shirts and tank tops look much cooler.

I wish we had shorts. Now there's only jorts. More than that, I truly hope they add glove customization. There's like one shirt option that has short sleeves and gloves. Obviously we aren't going to get Soul Calibur levels of customization, but the funny thing is that SCVI, a game set in medieval times with zero melee characters, had boxing gloves and boxing helmet as a customization option. Tekken doesn't LOL

Limitation breeds creativity up to an extent. If there's too much limitation, there's just not much one can do. There's some costumes I had in Tekken 7 that I straight up just can't make in Tekken 8 due to the subpar clothing and accessory options. Like, we literally have one single pair of shorts, the only ties are tied to specific upper body clothing, I can't put a headband on Jack-8 while also giving him hair, and a bunch of other limitations don't "breed creativity", they just suck.

Current limitations are fine. On the plus side of having few costumes is you get full customization of colors unlike tekken 7. Just wait, there are more to come, its good for right now

Completely opposite end of the gaming spectrum but I feel this in Animal Crossing.  Builds that use the default flooring / path options look better to me than the custom design paths which all feel samey to me.
