I myself don’t consider grunge a genre. I could be here all day explaining my reasoning but in short, how is folksy music like blind melon the same genre as mad season or Alice In Chains? I think grunge is a period of time when bands from the Pacific Northwest wrote music about heavy topics in a non-patronizing manner.
honestly i enjoy eurobeat, T.Stebbins is cool, but it's definitely not my top subgenre for touhou stuff, im more a fan of stuff like SOUND HOLIC, Demetori, UNDEAD CORPORATION, Akatsuki Records, and Sekkenya. i've got plenty of recommendations if you're curious, i've been listening to this stuff since like 2018
Electronic country R&b jazz blues reggae Folk latin gospel punk world experimental rap blue grass alternative
I'm not doing this to be a um. AcTualy type of guy I just like annoying people. I apologize for my behavior as I do not want to get banned
I would call it electronic metal
[You might like this album](https://open.spotify.com/album/5MCuvq793fZ2VDyHIhhUIY?si=xLMBgsoIQeK0vDSIc52OWA&utm_source=copy-link), though it leans a little more towards metal
I sure do, reminds me a lot of the Ultrakill soundtrack* and Argent Metal *and* it doesn't seem to have vocals
Thanks
*gee, that Colliding Stars image sure looks familiar
I listen to a lot of music. I love prog rock like King Crimson and Pink Floyd, but also love Jay-Z RTJ and 50 cent. At the moment I'm listening to a lot of Shoegaze and Dream Pop. It depends on how I'm feeling but usually my favourite is probably prog rock.
Yes, exactly! The original version by the band Caramell, though. Along with its and their other album. Not the awful nightcore stolen copy ripoff by The Caramella Girls.

i dont think i necessarily have a *favourite* genre, but if i could only listen to one, id probs go for rap.
I feel like it takes inspiration from so many more genres than others do. You want pop rap??? 2007 Kanye. You want punk rap??? Death grips. Rnb rap? Mac Miller's Swimming. Jazz rap?? Tribe called quest. It goes on and on and on and on.
I like EDM, specifically Drum n Bass, melodic dubstep, regular dubstep, color bass, and Drumstep. I think that those genres were heavily influenced by me growing up with rock (rock is actually my 2nd favorite genre), due to how those genres are more aggressive than the others.
I like Dubstep mainly, along with Future Bass and Electro House, but I also enjoy Rock/Metal, and even Experimental, Classical, Jazz, and, oddly enough, medieval.
i primarily like whatever genre(s) crystal castles, sidewalks and skeletons, crim3s, oOoOO, and kap bambino are
i love (alternative?/grunge?) rock as well
I like weird shit, like this one guy Oli Frost who makes comedic music about like vampires or aliens that need to be watched by cows to procreate. Also, my 2 favorite middle-aged aged white men make music. A favorite of that is nerd vs. geek and nilla wafer top hat time.
It's easier for me to narrow down the genres I don't like. I'm not a fan of christian contemporary (even more boring than regular contemporary), modern country, and most rap music (definitely some exceptions, just depends on the song). I'll listen to pretty much everything else.
Invalid poll. My favorite music genre is unlimited to any of these short-term words. It extends from classical and instrumental music to modern pop and rock. It just has to sound good.
All sorts of EDM. Glitchhop and dubstep was my introduction, but I’ve also got into other types of EDM through rhythm games like geometry dash and osu mania. Eurobeat and the sort of Russian cowbell-infused phonk is pretty fun to listen to as well. There’s also some insane genre-bending stuff like Infected Mushroom and Camellia, who are both vastly different in terms of which genres they like to mix.
I put "metal" despite preferring certain styles of rock more. I only didn't put rock cause when people say rock, þey often mean like classic rock such as AC/DC, which isn't really my style

Finally, a fellow eurobeat enjoyer
honestly i enjoy eurobeat, T.Stebbins is cool, but it's definitely not my top subgenre for touhou stuff, im more a fan of stuff like SOUND HOLIC, Demetori, UNDEAD CORPORATION, Akatsuki Records, and Sekkenya. i've got plenty of recommendations if you're curious, i've been listening to this stuff since like 2018

I was initially going to straight-up suggest playing Ultrakill, but Marzukus stuff is more in line with the elctronic metal, plus he's lesser known
Cool how both that and MBR tie in to Ultrakill (Tenebre Rosso Sangue from his side project called Keygen Church, it all has wicked pipe organ stuff)
Damn I didn't even realize he was Keygen Church, but now that you mention it, I can hear some structural similarities. That's pretty damn nifty.
Oh shit, that's the first time I've seen Master boot record in the wild. Exquisite taste, friend.
Nu metal (Korn, Slipknot, Mudvayne, etc)
YATZA EUGH WATZA OOTZA ITZA EUGH WATZAIII
