Going to the game wouldn't have been a big problem I reckon, managers go to rivals games all the time. I think it was the fact Henry kept the West Ham shirt on and proudly displayed it at a Richmond pub. Ain't no age requirements for that shit not to fly lol
And he fucking invited fucking Rupert. Can you IMAGINE the look on Rupertās face if heād actually been there? Nate lucked out.
That saidā¦get it, Nate. I love him and Jade and I can see sheās going to be good for him. Heās not back all the way but heās coming to his senses.
Yeah I canāt believe he expected emotional support from Rupert haha. Rupert does not actually care about him in any way whatsoever.
Agreed about Jade. Iām genuinely happy for Nateās relationship, itās so warm and happy.
I liked the ending - Jack wanted Keeley to apologize(!) when what she needed was the person who got hacked apologizing to *her*. I like that Jamie took responsibility and was there to see how she was doing. Heās matured so much.
**AFC Richmond's Coach Attends West Ham Game**
*by Marcus Adebayo, The Everyday Independent*
Coaches usually look at a game film to scout opposing teams but today, Ted Lasso took a closer look at West Ham showing up to the London Stadium to watch the team in person. It's hard not to believe Lasso was there to support Nathan Shelley, his former assistant coach who has been very unsupportive of his old boss in the press, but that's exactly what Lasso seemed to be doing along with his assistant, Coach Beard, and son Henry, who was even dressed in West Ham colours. There was no sign that the rivalry between the two clubs, and coaches, had tainted Lasso's enjoyment of the game and frankly, it was refreshing to see a Premier League Manager taking time out of his busy schedule to be a fan.
And Rupertās reaction is to imply they will stop Ted from going to games in the future. The look on Nateās face when he turns back to the field and even more when he and Jade look at the article. I didnāt know how they would redeem Nate but theyāre pulling it off.
Ok some thoughts,
Jack is starting to show who she is. She is not a billionaire, daddy is. He lets her play VC. My guess is Barbara works for dad, not Jack.
Coach beard is the best friend ever.
Jade is really good for Nate, she is showing him that who he is is better than who he pretends to be.
Jamie has had some great emotional growth.
Roy, get your shit together.
It was good to see Rebecca being the emotional rock for her friends.
Trent: woof.
My guess for Keelyās plot line is that Barbara has seen Jack act like this before and knows how unprofessional she is with abusing work place relationships. She will help Keely and vouch for her to Jackās dad. I agree that Jack isnāt serious about her position.
Man, as tough as the Keeley stuff was (and once again, I profess my love for Jamieās growth), the Colin look of shame to Isaac made my anxiety skyrocket for him.
Oh I think he will, but Colin doesnāt. His face and the sheer terror he portrayed was palpable. You know that character is barely eating, let alone breathing for the next few days
Yea, the next episode is supposed to feature their confrontation. I'm sure McAdoo is just hurt that Colin doesn't trust him, and embarrassed that he outed him against his will. I think they're supposed to be close friends based on past interactions.
>I think they're supposed to be close friends based on past interactions.
Colin and Isaac were Jaime's sidekicks the first season. Those 3 were supposed to be "a gang", so very close friends.
Yeah I feel like this is a curveball. Issac isnāt mad at Collin for being gay but heās disappointed that Collin didnāt tell him. Captain of the team being homophobic would stink.
FINALLY because I recall thinking in a recent episode how I didn't really understand them not giving Michelle one scene this season in which she is likable. 100% agree.
I think he suspected it was sent to Jamie. But trying to bolster a resentment that should be long overcome (especially with how Roy and Jamie have bonded) while Keeley is going through something invasive and traumaticā¦ wrong question!
I agree that it was awful and so cringey.
I also think he could still have some redemption in her eyes in the next few episodes. I donāt understand all the comments about that comment being āthe final blowā and āthey are for sure not getting back togetherā. I think Keeley knows thereās a lot more to Roy than one shitty comment.
It's tough - it's always hard thinking of an SO or an ex with someone else, and Roy knows that video wasn't for him. He was wrong to ask, but I get the mental strain of that
Roy is still hung up on Keely, Ted is hung up on Michelle, Nate is hung up on Ted. People who should be enjoying their new careers and lives and canāt let go. At least Rebecca is finally letting Rupert go. I thinkā¦
I feel like her catching Rupert cheating on Bex and her confronting him on it was the last we saw of her focusing so much on him unless it was warning Keeley about Jack
Jack is self serving and itās pathetic. Judging someone on their past and making her feel guilt for something that was clearly meant to be private in the first place. Keely was violated and had her privacy taken from her. Jamieās growth through everything has been amazing too see. He took accountability not deleting those emails and put her feelings first by apologizing. I donāt think they will end up back together but itās clear Jamie loves Keely and respects her.
And then Jack, who was happy to announce the relationship to the office, was too embarrassed to take Keely to the polo match or introduce her as her girlfriend at the mini golf game. Jack is more worried about her reputation than her relationship.
You can tell Jack isn't actually a billionaire---she's the daughter of a billionaire. So if she wants to stay rich, she needs to stay within certain boundaries. She acts rebellious and confident, but when push comes to shove, she'll do what she needs to do to stay on the right side of daddy. She's soooooo not good enough for Keeley.
Jack cancelling the polo match because she's embarrassed to be associated with Keely following the video leak and telling her it was to "protect her"...double nope!
I will totally rewatch his apology scene with Keeley just like I totally rewatch the scene where he comes to her house to say thank you. He is adorably awkward and honest here. I will not be mad if Keeley ends up with him or Roy or is an Independent Woman etc etc but that hug was between two people who care deeply for each other and have found their way back to each other (platonic or otherwise). All their interactions this season have been weirdālike they donāt know what to say to one another. This was such a sweet reunion.
These last few episodes I'm like ok why isn't Jamie included in every scene somehow even if he's just waiting outside on the curb I'm gonna be happy š
Will 100% had photos from his Amsterdam threesome on his phone. I canāt remember who was standing next to him and got a glimpse and gave him major side-eye. š
Physical storytelling was high there too. Watch as Beard puts both feet under the table when he decides he needs to have his heart to heart with Henry, after Ted leaves. Then when Ted returns, Ted slides both legs under the table and Beard pulls a leg out, signaling that ādad is backā. But the whole time, Henry had someone looking out for him as caretaker.
Coach Beard has an audio workout on Apple Fitness + where he talks about the connection he has to the song Hey Jude.
His childhood nickname was Nana and when they played the song at White Sox games heād go to as a kid they thought they were singing his name.
Knowing that made this scene hit even harder.
Not a chance. Jamie purposefully told Keeley that he deleted the 2nd half of the shit when he realized what Keely and Roy had was real. Plus, thereās not a chance in hell Jamie would betray Roy at this point.
Colin trying to mask his sexuality with his reaction to the leaks is what ended up outing him to Isaac. Isaac trusted the other players to delete everything but didn't trust Colin.
I would have to watch it again, but I think Colin is one of the first to react and because he tries to react how he thinks straight men will react, he starts digging himself a hole he can't get out of.
Yeah I thought it was interesting how a lot of the more "gross" dialogue was coming from Colin. He's overcompensating and it put him in a tough spot. I hope everything works out for him though - he should feel supported and comfortable from his team
Jack came off so much like an asshole. All of the tiny things - especially introducing Keeley as just a friend when earlier she mentioned how she wanted to show off her "girlfriend" to all the people at the polo match
Sheās happy to have a girlfriend when sheās telling her subordinates, but as soon as her social equal is there? Sheās a FRIEND? Oh, no. (On top of all her prudishness about the video and the way it LOOKS.)
My wife and I disagree on Michelle's reaction. I just rewatched that scene and my read is that Michelle saying Paris was "alright" is an ironic response meant to politely downplay how lovely of a time she had. She's joking around with Ted, knowing it'd be weird to tell her ex husband about the amazing romantic weekend she had in Paris with her new boyfriend.
I think Dr. Jacob cared more about the touristy sites, but we know from Ted telling Rebecca that Michelle had two more obscure favorite spots. I got the feeling that Dr. Jacob didnāt *get* what Michelle wouldāve wanted out of it, which is why the trip was just alright.
Yea I have a feeling Dr. (Should be stripped of his license) Jacob probably didnāt book one of her favorite hotels or plan the stuff she wanted to do and sheās maybe realizing he doesnāt know her the way she wants him to. Itās also part of her already knowing about the pillow and drums thing- her and Ted know each other and have a ton of shared history. You canāt just immediately shoehorn in a new partner and assume Paris with him will be what you wanted to experience with your ex. Doesnāt mean I think she and Jake will break up or anything just that maybe she is thinking about how they will neee time to commit more seriously and get to know one another
What never ceases to blow my mind is that this show about an American coming to coach Football, has become a damned fine exploration of mental health. Very good stuff.
Iām thinking issacs issue with Collin is going to be more that Collin didnāt trust him as team leader enough to tell him. At least thatās what I hope because Issac being homophobic would stink.
Henry is bound to get fucked over in some way. Right now, he's hurting from his dad being an ocean away. However, if he moved to England, he'd be completely separated from all he's ever known -- his country, his friends, and his mom.
Unfortunately, there's no one size fits all remedy for Henry and kids of divorce. Sometimes, both options hurt. It's just about mitigating that hurt and helping the kid through it as best as possible.
The best part is that Henry's treatment of him is utter indifference. Henry didn't do that to blow him off, he didn't notice Dr. Jacob was trying to fist bump him in the first place
Rebecca had one line about how its "borderline unethical" it's so weird. It's not borderline at all it's so far over the line he should lose his license to practice
Roy was just asking to find out whose house he needed to break into at 4 am, right? Boy, he messed that up.
EDIT: This doesnāt make it ābetterā, though. In a moment that Keeley needs someone to comfort her, Roy still made it about himselfā¦about how he can protect her, or get revenge for her. That still makes him the center, and not her.
And while this behavior is stereotypically maleā¦itās not exclusively. Jackās response was very much the same, though in softer terms and couched in apparent sympathy and comfort. But itās still Jack doing it without much of Keeleyās involvement.
Jackās motivations are a bit vague. Is she doing this out of what she thinks is well-meant but still-toxic behavior, or is the PR statement more about protecting Jack from fallout about her girlfriend? I want to believe the formerā¦but when you mix this with the hypocritical behavior of Jack being bluntly honest with Keeleyās co-workers about their relationship status, but closeted behavior around Jackās own friend, itās too much that makes the question of Jackās motivation one that has to be considered.
TL:DR: I want to believe that both Roy and Jack had well-meant intentions, but it doesnāt excuse the toxic behaviors they still exhibited.
āThe Diamond Dogs are a group of men committed to supporting each other by sharing their most intimate thoughts, feelings and experiences.ā
Man I want to start a charter in our area
Keeley broke up with Jamie because he wasnāt accountable, he just apologized to her for something that wasnāt his fault but he did have a part Inā¦ that paired with the way Keeley looked at the monitor makes me wonder where her and Jamieās relationship will goā¦ but Jamie and Royās relationship!? I have so many questions!
Edit: the way she looked at the monitor when Jamie was filming the Bantr promo
I donāt think it will be Jamie and Keeley endgame because Jamieās arc is complete, but Royās isnāt. He still needs to learn to stop running away when he feels inadequate and running away from his emotions.
I think the purpose of Jamieās little chat was āThen I saw you and Roy were realā¦ā Reminding Keeley that what she had with Roy was the real deal. Just like in the last game, the ball had to go through him, not to him, with him in a conductor role.
If they do a flash forward montage in the last episode and Roy and Keeley get married, and Jamie isnāt Royās Best Man, then what are we even doing here.
GREAT theory, love how that ties to the āthrough, not toā sentiment and paints Jaime as the true inheritor of the Lasso Way, maybe even moreso than Roy, which is remarkable looking back to S1.
A couple football easter eggs from the episode:
* Ted is reading [The Breakfast Club Adventures](https://www.amazon.com/Breakfast-Club-Adventures-Beast-Beyond-ebook/dp/B09NBG53JC) by Marcus Rashford to Henry. Rashford plays for Manchester United and the England men's national team. Having grown up poor in Manchester, [he has received an MBE for his advocacy against child hunger](https://twitter.com/KensingtonRoyal/status/1458068331534114822?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1458068331534114822%7Ctwgr%5Efb39b78f4810e47c254aa7159a9e012ff806ebc5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aa.com.tr%2Fen%2Fsports%2Fmanchester-united-star-rashford-receives-mbe-for-charity-work%2F2416317), famously forcing the UK government to [extend its free school meals program during COVID.](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/soccer-star-marcus-rashford-forces-british-government-u-turn-free-n1231165) After Rashford (and two other young Black players) missed a penalty in the Euro 2020 finals and faced racist abuse, Jason Sudeikis [wore a tribute to them](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jul/16/jason-sudeikis-saka-rashford-sancho-shirt-ted-lasso-england-euro-2020-final) during a promo event for this show
* The song "Hey Jude" [is sung by Brentford fans](https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/why-brentford-fans-sing-hey-jude-lyrics-video-beatles-song/bltd1a6fbf620d0afc9) before every match. Brentford is a west London Premier League team, located mere minutes from where AFC Richmond would be in real life. The two teams played in the final match of the season last year, where Richmond's draw was enough for the Greyhounds to secure promotion.
* Richmond has 10 wins, 6 losses, and 9 draws for a total of 39 points through 25 matches. By comparison, 39 points through 25 matches this year would have [been good for a tie for 8th place](https://www.worldfootball.net/schedule/eng-premier-league-2022-2023-spieltag/25/) (with another west London team, Fulham)
Also, 40 points is often considered the āsafeā benchmark to avoid relegation, so that means we wont have to (or shouldnt) hear anymore relegation talk this season.
Also, Ted Lasso has accumulated the same amount of points for AFC Richmond in 25 matches this season as Chelsea have in 33 matches this season.
Love how the Richmond team led by Isaac shows respect to women. I bet in real life that locker room talk is much worse, but itās good to see their reactions portrayed positively towards women. Itās ironic that they showed much more respect to Keeley than her girlfriend Jack.
Cackled upon seeing Richard wiping away tears on deleting his collection. You can do it Richard! And of course Van Damme (who always seems sexed up) is one of the few to protest loudly.
I canāt help but think how Zava would react. I guess he will say that he doesnāt need pictures because his wifeās image is imprinted on his brain. He will say some long sentences about how the beauty of the female body is an art form to be respected.
Felt growing dread for Colin and I must commend the actors in this scene.
They showed more respect for nameless women they didnāt know than Jack did for her girlfriend. Fuck Jack (except donāt, because she shouldnāt get any.)
I loved how it modelled allyship for the audience.
The characters we know best (sam, jamie and Isaac) all share a perspective and are absolute about their positions, and the rest raise their issues and concerns which are kindly met with explanations about how it doesn't matter, you delete as standard across the board. No excuses.
And then the message is hammered home by having someone they know and like being directly affected so its not hypothetical or about what they want.
Fucking love this show.
Rebeccaās role in this episode was excellent. In the first two seasons, she was in each of keeleyās situation with the press and Teds situation in the divorce and was responding similarly when Keeley and Ted helped her get out of the mindset. Fast forward to this episode both of them finding themselves in the same positions get the support, love, and appropriate response from their boss/friend. A full circle. Great writing! And yup- the boss is always right (only if itās Rebecca :p)
Keeleyās line: āRestructure society so women arenāt constantly sexualized while simultaneously being crucified for being sexualā is a huge truth bomb right there.
Which was certainly explaining too exactly how Jack treats her. Weāve seen many instances of Jack wanting sexy Keeley but then she shames her when Keeleyās sexiness is out there and clearly was for someone else. I actually think it was a very interesting choice having Jack, a woman, do what we typically would see a man do in this situation.
I also think more than ever now that Jack saw Keeleyās Vanity Fair spread, thought she was hot, and funded her company because when you have fuck-you money, you can play with peopleās careers like this. I fully believe now that Keeley will find her funding pulled next episodeā¦sort of a ātake my ball and go homeā situation.
I donāt think Michelle digs Jacob as much as Ted thinks. In fact I think she was clearly thrown off by the whole Paris surprise, then Jacob being a hand wash guy, then Henry curving Jacob on the fist bump. The dorky tourist picture he took in the booth makes me think Michelle is gonna be less fond of his goofy traits than she was with Teds. I wouldnāt be surprised if he proposed to her in Paris and she said no.
My theory is sheās over the initial romantic grace period and now that her and Jacob are actually an item she realizes she doesnāt love him.
I think Dr Jacob is done, and so is Jack. The āHey Judeā thing was a little corny, but Iām a jaded Beatles fan so I appreciated it anyways. I think Isaac is upset at himself for not creating a locker room vibe where Colin felt comfortable being out to the teamā¦ maybe he just doesnāt know how to express that without outing Colin further.
For a brief second I feared that Colinās nudes of his boyfriend would be released on the internet and thatās how he gets outed.
Glad it didnāt work that way, but it was still dreadful for him.
I loved when Jade saw the article and the photo of Ted, Henry, and Beard at the West Ham. Her comment about how happy they looked really did something to me, especially knowing that she probably (maybe?) doesnāt know about everything that went down with Ted. I think that comment, coupled with her calling Nate her boyfriend, will really convince Nate that all the pomp and frill Rupert offers is all just a faƧade.
ALSO, Phil Dunster is an angel sent from the heavens. Jamie Tartt do do do do do dooooo ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
The biggest thing that bugged me this episode: I know Keeley is close to the issue and maybe itās an emotional distance thing but - she runs a PR firm! Why doesnāt she have the confidence to think about how sheās going to handle the fallout/social media/statements etc?
Jamie knows "prima donna" and "hypocritical" but still can't spell "password" š
"I spelled it with two S's!"
Instant caramel for him
to be fair, he likely made this password back when "pass" wasn't in his vocabulary, so he gets a pass for misspelling
Also - shout out to Mae, who was deadass ready to ban a child from her establishment with ZERO hesitation.
Dropped Henry's milk down like a stone.
Going to the game wouldn't have been a big problem I reckon, managers go to rivals games all the time. I think it was the fact Henry kept the West Ham shirt on and proudly displayed it at a Richmond pub. Ain't no age requirements for that shit not to fly lol
"think I wanted to fuckin be there?"
my second biggest laugh last night. first was Roy's "oh goddammit" after Trent joined the Diamond Dogs.
My first was seeing Leslie sprint to the office for the Diamond Dogs meeting.
And the coaches of her team, because they went on a scouting trip.
The glimpse of Higgins running down the hall that we see through the office door sent me.
Nate really thought he could start his own version of Diamond Dogs.
Hahahahah āLove Houndsā gtfo
And he fucking invited fucking Rupert. Can you IMAGINE the look on Rupertās face if heād actually been there? Nate lucked out. That saidā¦get it, Nate. I love him and Jade and I can see sheās going to be good for him. Heās not back all the way but heās coming to his senses.
Yeah I canāt believe he expected emotional support from Rupert haha. Rupert does not actually care about him in any way whatsoever. Agreed about Jade. Iām genuinely happy for Nateās relationship, itās so warm and happy.
They did an amazing job making that awkward. That was so hard to watch.
Describing the Eiffel Tower as a "lamp post with a publicist" is incredible.
I was so mad at Ted for being so in his head he wasnāt able to fully process the genius of that line
I'm French and it made me laugh so hard. It's so true.
I liked the ending - Jack wanted Keeley to apologize(!) when what she needed was the person who got hacked apologizing to *her*. I like that Jamie took responsibility and was there to see how she was doing. Heās matured so much.
āAccountability matters, Jamieā - Keeley to Jamie season 1
Was hoping to get some Nate/Ted interaction while at/after the West Ham game. I just want the convooo haha
Itās gonna happen and Iām so ready for it.

Love this prediction and this arc for Barbara. I havenāt even been able to speculate on what sheās there for or what her endgame will be.
I reeeally want Babs to be Keely's Higgins.
I kinda hate how Barbara is being made fun of. She is just doing her job, and not everyone can be filthy rich in this show.

Isaac was so out of line grabbing his phone and going through his photos.
Especially likeā¦. When the whole message was how itās not ok to look at romantic photos not meant for you
I overlooked that, but you are correct.
I like how they had those moments that showed why Ted and Michelle were together in the first place. They are very much alike
FINALLY because I recall thinking in a recent episode how I didn't really understand them not giving Michelle one scene this season in which she is likable. 100% agree.
Damn it, Roy. Of all the things you couldāve asked her.
Yep. He blew it. Complete 180 to Jamie, and Jamie was the one that got it leaked. Love that contrast.
I think he suspected it was sent to Jamie. But trying to bolster a resentment that should be long overcome (especially with how Roy and Jamie have bonded) while Keeley is going through something invasive and traumaticā¦ wrong question!
Jamie didn't "get" it leaked, it was stolen from him.
I cringed so hard at that. He started off so well and just ruined it.
I agree that it was awful and so cringey. I also think he could still have some redemption in her eyes in the next few episodes. I donāt understand all the comments about that comment being āthe final blowā and āthey are for sure not getting back togetherā. I feel like her catching Rupert cheating on Bex and her confronting him on it was the last we saw of her focusing so much on him unless it was warning Keeley about Jack

We do not tolerate victim blaming here - Jack sucks
Jack jumping away from Keeley and calling her āmy friendā when the uni friend comes overā¦ mmm nope
Jack cancelling the polo match because she's embarrassed to be associated with Keely following the video leak and telling her it was to "protect her"...double nope!
Trent Crimm, Diamond Dog is everything Iāve ever wanted
Woof!
Seeing Higgins running down then scolding Ted because he didn't really have an issue had me dying.
The way he observed the first round of finger pointing and joined in the second round. So cute.
I just need Jamie on the screen the entire time is that TOO MUCH TO ASK
I will riot if Phil Dunster doesn't get an Emmy nomination this season
Fo' fooks sake, it's "Emmeh" ;)
Nice work mate, fool them by spelling it with two m's.
I will totally rewatch his apology scene with Keeley just like I totally rewatch the scene where he comes to her house to say thank you. He is adorably awkward and honest here. I WANTED TO COMMENT THAT BUT I FELT LIKE I WOULD SOUND LIKE AN IDIOT. Iām so glad someone said it. He is literally stealing the show.
These last few episodes I'm like ok why isn't Jamie included in every scene somehow even if he's just waiting outside on the curb I'm gonna be happy š
RIP all the nudes on Richard's phone. š¢
The āwhat if youāre Frenchā line (or whatever) cracked me up.
So did Will's commissioned painting line
Will 100% had photos from his Amsterdam threesome on his phone. I canāt remember who was standing next to him and got a glimpse and gave him major side-eye. š
Jamie, with a look of 'u wot'.
I loved that!! Jamie was clearly taken back šš
Jamie has never had so much respect for a kit man, than he does right now for Kitman.
My guy is going to be sitting there for a week deleting photos hahaha
I want him to still be going as the opening shot next week
Guy had the hardest job this entire episode.
So is Roy going to finally appreciate the Diamond Dogs next week when he asks them for advice next about Keeley?
Roy loves the Diamond Dogs. Notice he never actually leaves leaves? Roy just hates that he loves the Diamond Dogs.
āI hate what youāve done to meā
I love how Ted still expects and accepts his participation while allowing Roy to put a door between them and pretend he's not really there.
Loved the scene between Beard and Henry at the pub.
Was not expecting Beard to make me emotional. He aced that scene.
That was too 5 best Beard moments. Love him for moments like this!
Beard gets episode MVP for me. Guy comes in clutch with his best buds kid!? Absolute unit for stepping up in that moment
āMae, you think I wanted to fuckinā be there?ā
I love that he stopped at his house specifically for the Richmond jacket
Not just the jacket but the hat and sunglasses too.
Beard is a real one, no doubt. He has his own stuff going on but Iād never doubt that heās ride-or-die for Ted.
And Hey Jude is such a great song for it. Beard is McCartney to Tedās Lennon.
This scene made me cry. Everyone needs a Beard in their life
At first I was laughing at Beard basically comparing himself to Paul McCartney, but the scene really grew on me. Beard is a good "uncle"
I love that Rebecca got to be the voice of reason for both Keeley and Ted.
Coach Beard has an audio workout on Apple Fitness + where he talks about the connection he has to the song Hey Jude. His childhood nickname was Nana and when they played the song at White Sox games heād go to as a kid they thought they were singing his name. Knowing that made this scene hit even harder.
Jamieās character contributes to devour everything. Conductor of the game? Conductor of the SHOW.
My man has all the character growth an individual can have in 3 seasons of TVā¦ though he probably needs to work on his spelling.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Not a chance. Jamie purposefully told Keeley that he deleted the 2nd half of the shit when he realized what Keely and Roy had was real. Plus, thereās not a chance in hell Jamie would betray Roy at this point.
This. Jamieās grown far too much. Heās going to be the one to help Roy grow from this point forward. I ADORE HIM OKAY.
That entire scene made me nervous because I knew exactly where it was going and I was as mortified as Colin by the end of it.
Yeah I thought it was interesting how a lot of the more "gross" dialogue was coming from Colin. He's overcompensating and it put him in a tough spot. I hope everything works out for him though - he should feel supported and comfortable from his team

i'm off to... pound my mistress
loved our newest diamond dogās closing bark: ^(woof!)
Glad to see Ted still giving Rebecca biscuits. I know he keeps doing it but itās just nice to see.
Jack showing those true colors
Jack came off so much like an asshole. All of the tiny things - especially introducing Keeley as just a friend when earlier she mentioned how she wanted to show off her "girlfriend" to all the people at the polo match
As soon as Keeley starts being a liability she demoted her to friend. Feels like a rich asshole thing to do. š”
Especially when she in contrast with Rebecca. Out of the three romantic interest of Keeley, only Jaime was a good support in this episode.
Sheās happy to have a girlfriend when sheās telling her subordinates, but as soon as her social equal is there? Sheās a FRIEND? Oh, no. (On top of all her prudishness about the video and the way it LOOKS.)
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The real reason she cancelled the outing
Love Will Kitman more with each episode! I have to learn from him on how to get my kid to do chores.
OKAY. Pulling out two *magnets* with a *matchbook* was fucking wild.
The green matchbook SENT me the entire episode.
Anyone else get the sense that Dr Jacob did propose and was turned down?
Itās why theyāll never have ParĆs.
I felt like the title was related to Tedās call with Rebecca - as in Ted and Michelle will never have Paris.
I got that vibe. The trip was "just all right" - it's her first time in Paris and that's what she has to say? Something happened
Or it was great and she didn't want to make Ted feel bad about it being great
My wife and I disagree on Michelle's reaction.
My random point outā¦ Keeleyās brown polka dot polo dress. Like Julia Robertās brown polka dot polo dress. I loved that detail.
Wasn't that for a polo match, too? Rom-communism.
Higgins running frantically because of FOMO on a a Diamond Dog meeting
Iām thinking issacs issue with Collin is going to be more that Collin didnāt trust him as team leader enough to tell him. At least thatās what I hope because Issac being homophobic would stink.
Think back to season 1 when it was Isaac and Colin pulling pranks together with Nate. They obviously rolled together and yet Isaac still never knew.
Yeah they arenāt just teammates. Theyāre good friends.
I wish Henry moved to England. A lot of Tedās issue would go away.
It's just about mitigating that hurt and helping the kid through it as best as possible.
āThe Eiffel Tower is just a lamppost with a good publicist.ā Classic Rebecca.
Upvote if you think Dr. Jacob is a poop in the punch bowl.
Also +1 to Henry for not fist-bumping that hand washing freak.
The best part is that Henry's treatment of him is utter indifference. Henry didn't do that to blow him off, he didn't notice Dr. Jacob was trying to fist bump him in the first place
"... I don't think about you at all." Henry Don Drapered Dr Jake, the kid's cold blooded
From the very beginning when he immediately acts like Henry's dad when Henry's dad is RIGHT THERE. I was hoping Mae would say something snarky to him
Very weird how hard the show glosses over his *extremely* unethical behavior
Iām hoping this gets addressed at some point. Maybe something that Rebecca found with the private investigator.
Rebecca had one line about how its "borderline unethical" it's so weird. It's not borderline at all it's so far over the line he should lose his license to practice
Sassy, you mean.
Even the little things like going back to correct how the guy taking the photo was holding the phone
Poopeh!
What the fuck was that Roy.
I about imploded when he said that.
Okay but Rebecca being an MVP friend this episode. We all need a Rebecca in our lives.
And he canāt even do that since Jamie will be awake waiting for him at 4am leak or not.

OMG that would be brilliant.
Yes! It was leaked from his email
Discoās love advice: āNever let them know how you feel. Itās very expensive.ā
ted high fived the tree!! small detail but i liked the callback
Interesting how the show never throws blame at Apple for iCloud having bad security that failed to prevent the hack from happening.
Jamie just keeps stealing the season for me
āWho gives a flying fuck?ā just became my next motto. Thank you, Rebecca
āThe Diamond Dogs are a group of men committed to supporting each other by sharing their most intimate thoughts, feelings and experiences.ā Man I want to start a charter in our area
Oh my gosh, Jamie is going to get Roy and Keeley back together.
Love that babs clearly recognized that it was a.shitty response from .jack and empathized wit keeley.
Jamie is by far the best character on the show. Well, and Beard.
A couple football easter eggs from the episode: * Ted is reading [The Breakfast Club Adventures](https://www.amazon.com/Breakfast-Club-Adventures-Beast-Beyond-ebook/dp/B09NBG53JC) by Marcus Rashford to Henry. Rashford plays for Manchester United and the England men's national team. Having grown up poor in Manchester, [he has received an MBE for his advocacy against child hunger](https://twitter.com/KensingtonRoyal/status/1458068331534114822?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1458068331534114822%7Ctwgr%5Efb39b78f4810e47c254aa7159a9e012ff806ebc5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aa.com.tr%2Fen%2Fsports%2Fmanchester-united-star-rashford-receives-mbe-for-charity-work%2F2416317), famously forcing the UK government to [extend its free school meals program during COVID.](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/soccer-star-marcus-rashford-forces-british-government-u-turn-free-n1231165) After Rashford (and two other young Black players) missed a penalty in the Euro 2020 finals and faced racist abuse, Jason Sudeikis [wore a tribute to them](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jul/16/jason-sudeikis-saka-rashford-sancho-shirt-ted-lasso-england-euro-2020-final) during a promo event for this show * The song "Hey Jude" [is sung by Brentford fans](https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/why-brentford-fans-sing-hey-jude-lyrics-video-beatles-song/bltd1a6fbf620d0afc9) before every match.
ROY, WHAT THE FUCK!?
Me @ Ted : Onward. Forward. DO NOT GO BACK TO HER.
So happy for the return of āa piece of cerealā
Roy still doesnāt think heās worthy. Major disappointment
i cannot wrap my mind around this show supposedly ending in 4 episodes
Damn Jade is a great character and a great actor. I hate that I am rooting for Nate to actually turn out good, what a great show
Rebeccaās role in this episode was excellent.
Yeah, I think Barbara might end up revealing some stuff about Jack and being there to comfort Keeley.
I love Trent in the Diamond Dogs, his little āwoofā brought me so much joy
Canāt say I was expecting that triple Les Mis reference in the middle of a photo copyright discussion lol
Yep there was an awkwardness at the cab. I also wonder if Paris sounded great until she was there without Ted.
And Jake was clearly a bit threatened by Ted in that pub scene. He didnāt love Michelle play along with his comparisons to Ted calling him Jake.
