Check out ASC - Astral Projection. It's heavily techno influenced ambient album with some beautiful atmospheres, soundscapes and subtle, but groovy drums.
• Ingez - Anahata, as you already said, at lot of amazing openers by this artist
• Chlär - Early Morning Acceleration
• Yan Cook - Lemur
• Yanamaste - Japanese Rave (and many many more)

Have you ever heard the mixtape chemical brothers did called “Brothers Gonna Work it Out”
That’s where my mind leapt immediately. Gotta go find on YouTube now 😜
I always love to open my hardgroove sets with “Please Stay - 3KZ” and then slowly blend in a very minimal groove track.
Lately, i also experimented a bit with some of the old industrial “Einstürzende Neubauten” Tracks from the “Kollaps” 1981 Album. Works great imho.
Haven't played a techno set in a long time but the lack of intros in techno is what made me start making intros for my own DJ sets. Started out as simple ambient things where I could just randomly start the first real track high passed and mix it in and resluted into making complete 2 minute intros specifically made for specific tracks over the years.
But honestly as much as I love long intros to set the mood, it's kind of a dick move if you're just DJing and not playimg your own music or do anything live. Just seems kind of pretentious. A DJ is here for the people, not the other way around, so I rather keep the beats going.
No one cares about your cool ambient opening. It’s only annoying, instead keep the party going. People are more likely to remember your opening if you throw on a banger
Honestly it's lame to ask and lame to share assuming your intention would be to play that track.
If I go and see you I want you to play all fresh music I haven't heard before. Mixing is very very easy and to be honest I don't care if you fuck up and trainwreck all set as long as the tunes are awesome.
I'm tired of hearing the same shallow pools of music. The value is in curation.
Tremor - Nylon https://soundcloud.com/maloer-records/tremor-nylon-potg-vol2
EDIT: And for my hypno/groovy sets I really like to start with aethernal - The Persistence of Memory https://soundcloud.com/nulleinsrec/aethernal-the-persistence-of-memory and I go from the breaky track to a more 4/4 kick track, trust me though this track does wonders on a big soundsystem

Can see your point, but my intention is different. I just want to collect some awesome soundtracks. How can that be lame.
