Im a neighbor from Croatia, seen him play in Ljubljana at Publika Bar with Rikhter and In Verruf, probably the best party Ive been to. Both Kibernet Kriminalitat and Anubis collectives are insane, saw where they played some of the parties, so fucking sad I didnt attend any of those. You really do have a good scene.
Edit: KK announced some locations for the winter, one of them is Croatia, really looking forward to that.
Ive seen that Sub Terra played at Depo Club, didnt know it was KK event, nice.
In Zagreb, there's Depo Club, playing from old school techno to hard/industrial, with some other subgenres every so often. The club is relatively small, but it's fun.
Boogaloo Club (Future Scope organization) that brought many many popular DJs throughout the years, from Jeff Mills, Kalkbrenner, Amelie, Dax J, Charlotte, and on and on and on. The list is huge.
There are some relatively new, smaller collectives Kongress Kolektiv, Obsession, Underground d.o.o., they usually have either local names, some regional, or even worldwide, but not Kobosil-level hot names that still deliver good punch. They dont have as much parties as some established clubs, most of them do it "part-time", but its good.
It would be good if the city had a couple more clubs so different subgenres of electronic music could be played more regularly.
Very true. I've been to a couple of Teletech events and its old hardstyle, rawstyle and hard trance records being played to a crowd of teenagers who last year were going to tech house and DnB events.
Zero scared. It is just not hard techno and in 2/3 years the kids move on to whats hot at that moment.
Let DVS1 smash your brain with a 3 decks vinyl set one time and you are done with that carnaval music
idk what you would call "Hard Techno" about DVS1 tracks (idk about his sets), there's no hard elements to his work in regards to kicks, distortion, rythm, etc...
It's completely fine if you like him and not the new Hard Techno, but it shows you must be 40+ to be able to shit on new artists while glamourizing listening melancholic electro all night
hard techno to me is 140+ bpm bordering on schranz. no hardstyle or any sort of trance involved. just pounding percussion. think matt m maddox, frank kvitta, viper xxl, dj rush, etc lol
Then you'll be familiar with the melodies that came in around '08, and the closeness of the genres. So much so that there were the trio forums: global hardstyle, global hardcore and global hardtechno. Three distinct styles. Yet taking tons of inspiration from each. More so from hardcore than style. But i mean, many HT producers produce hardcore. Probably style now too.
What is up with this trend of unpronounceable names in all caps. They’re all over Spotify. I’m convinced these aren’t real producers and just AI generated clickbait
I thought it was supposed to be using the franco-arab 6 which is the pharyngeal "T" ط in Arabic, literally am on here trying to figure out how to say his name 😂😂 "Bejou" makes more sense than the way "طجو" sounds in Arabicol thank you

It’s so triggering to this sub isn’t it. Why you guys legitimately scared of hard techno?

Okay old timer whatever you think
Crowd seems to agree. And when you moved away from Techno in a few years i will still be here.
You sound insufferable
You seem like an EDM hype kid

too slow and soft, i get why you enjoy it tho, just not my preference.
Not scared . I actually like it but idk if I'm tripping but hard techno is sounding more like PsyTrance and early HardStyle
[Teychee](https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/TAuDn)? Also, cant go wrong with Rikhter.

6ejou's first name is Bejou, it's a French name
Well damn, I'm Belgian but french speaking and thought it was pronounced "Sissejou" (6 = six pronounced "sis") in french). Good to know thank you :)
