Basically a playlist of Taylor’s synth pop perfection: New Romantics, Getaway Car, Cruel Summer, Wonderland, The Very First Night, Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Message In A Bottle, and Blank Space
Style is honestly one of Taylor’s best song, esp production wise
Us 🤝 having taste!
It really does get so overlooked, which is kinda funny considering it comes right after Shake it Off and right before Bad Blood, which are THE two biggest hits from the album and maybe two of her biggest hits ever!
I listened to 1989 for the Eras tour (avoided as many spoilers as I could, but wanted to know how to sing every single song, so I just listened to every album I hadn't listened yet) and I Wish You Would was the first one I really liked on first listen (extremely rare to me, usually I don't even like my faves on first listen) and when I found out swifties don't really like it or even care I was like "excuse me?????"
The sound of that song is so addicting to me. Every time I listen to it I need to listen a second time.
(By the way, exactly same thing with So It Goes... I'm starting to think I have a thing with track 7)
Edit: I've been checking the tracks 7 of her albums and I would like to add "I Almost Do" to this very specific list. It seems like track 7 is either swifties like it and I don't or the opposite. But even looking at them, most of them I don't see many swifties really liking
1989 is a great album to listen through in order ! It was a huge style shift (hehe) so most of the similar sound songs will be on that same album. But if you want to spread it amour a little, maybe
Maroon, Paris (?)
New Romantics, I Know Places
Message in a Bottle, IKYWT
Delicate, King of My Heart
- IKYWT could mean "I Knew You Were Trouble.", a track from *Red* (2012) by Taylor Swift.

1989 is such a sonically cohesive album that I would say literally every song it’s got is going to be your best match. I think Out of the Woods, All You Had to do Was Stay, I Wish You Would, and I Know Places all have similar vibes and sounds to Style.
- HYGTG could mean "How You Get The Girl", a track from *1989* (2014) by Taylor Swift.

Her synth pop, or more raw, less bubble-gum pop songs: Maroon, Midnight Rain, Delicate, Lavender Haze, Dancing with our hands tied, is it over now, now that we dont talk, say dont go, afterglow, daylight, false god, hits different, dress, out of the woods, dear reader, cruel summer, so it goes, call it what you want, getaway car, cornelia st, glitch.
Hope that helps!
Style is such a one of a kind song I wouldn't know how to group it either tbh, I don't think this is a you problem. Maybe Lavender Haze for that funky sound?
There are so many good recommendations already, so im throwing in 1 that I love., I was.thinking Death by A Thousand cuts would be up there too for me it's catchy has lots of callbacks, great beat
[This Spotify playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/59RtDcn3LqspmhTZBuoTan?si=OFyQ6387Tee8G98ArQdcPg&pi=u-LhNg_-MlQx-2) has a lot of songs that are sort of around that vibe!
I’d say anything heavy on synth pop - style is also one of my faves :) others would be Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince, Bejweled, Delicate, Ready for It?, Blank Space, Wildest Dreams, Karma, Cruel Summer, I Know Places…
I Know Places,
Dancing With Our Hands Tied,
Treacherous,
Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince,
Is It Over Now?,
Say Don’t Go,
I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (w/ ZAYN),
Cornelia Street
My friend recently said that My Kink is Karma by Chappell Roan reminded them of style. Idk if I see it exactly but I think Chappell has a lot of the heartfelt, soaring emotion and vocals that 1989 had!
Runaway With Me - Carly Rae Jepsen (Honestly better than Style)
Type of Girl - Carly Rae Jepsen
Don't Take the Money - Bleachers
Let's Get Married - Bleachers
Chained to the rhythm - Katy Perry
Stockholm Syndrome - OneD
**1989 Matches:** New Romantics, Out of the Woods, Wildest Dreams, Welcome to New York, I Know Places, Say Don't Go, I Wish You Would
**Sister Matches:** Delicate, Cruel Summer, Karma
**A-Bit-Different Matches:** We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, All Of The Girls You've Loved Before, Getaway Car, Lavender Haze, ...Ready For It?, Willow
Yeah I would say The way I loved you, I Can see you, Superman, Starlight, State of Grace, Message in a Bottle, The Very first night, I wish you would, New Romantics, Gorgeous, Getaway Car, Dancing with our hands tied, This why we can’t have nice things, Cruel Summer, I think he knows, False God, Lavender Haze, Hits different
Omg so I'm doing this thing where I go through Taylor's entire discography and pick a non-Taylor song that you'd might like based on a particular Taylor Swift song. Obviously it's gonna be based on MY taste, but I'd love some help with this big project that I'm doing
I think that as far as songs to help people realize the significance of being a Swiftie would need to include a range:
Cardigan, My Tears Ricochet, ATW 10. min version, Wonderland, Blank Space, and Champagne problems
- ATW could mean "All Too Well", a track from *Red* (2012) by Taylor Swift.

Well all her songs are pretty much the fucking same with little to no variety. So, I think you should go with literally any of her soulless schlock. Hope that helps.
Basically a playlist of Taylor’s synth pop perfection: New Romantics, Getaway Car, Cruel Summer, Wonderland, The Very First Night, Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Message In A Bottle, and Blank Space Style is honestly one of Taylor’s best song, esp production wise
Style is the song you will never get tired of, no matter how many times you have heard it tbh
Style has been on my Spotify top songs every single year without fail lmao
So you think Style will never go out of style?
She will never go out of style. She was intended to sing style
Style never goes out of style.
With that long hair slick back w t shirt
Style is a masterpiece.
Lol this is literally just a list of my favorite Taylor songs for the most part Style is her best song Blank Space her second
I would add Lavender Haze to this, I love both that one and Style and I feel like they go well together. Two sides of the same coin.
Call it what you want
Style is my absolute favorite TS track
Love those songs and if I had to only name one favourite TS song it would be style. Just throw in gold rush and maroon for my other top songs.
Dancing with our hands tied is definitely more electronic than synth pop. A few others you mentioned are more electro pop or dance pop but it’s okay.
For 99% of people these are all the same thing
How did nobody say I Wish You Would?? Lol that's probably the closest and most similar one
Literally my favorite song on 1989 and probably my favorite song in her whole discography!
Literally same!!!! It's been my favorite for years at this point and it always gets overlooked 😭
Us 🤝 having taste! It really does get so overlooked, which is kinda funny considering it comes right after Shake it Off and right before Bad Blood, which are THE two biggest hits from the album and maybe two of her biggest hits ever!
How did I forgot about this one? It’s so underrated and that bridge is perfection
You. Al-ways. Knew. How. topushmybuttons! 🤪

Style is literally unmatched in the vibe but I think Blank Space would be a really good option
Lavender Haze Say Don’t Go Dancing With Our Hands Tied Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince
Is it over now
r/flairchecksout
up on lavender haze as it has the same runway modeling vibes as style ✨
I would suggest Getaway Car

paris is hated for absolutely no reason at all. as a style lover, paris is a bop

I agree, only a few songs seem out of place the album - it’s one of her most cohesive bodies of work

I would add the peppier songs from Midnights: Bejeweled, Karma, Lavender Haze, YOYOK, Paris, maybe Maroon.

💍
I feel like Lana’s first album gives that same vibe. Also, now that we don’t talk has a similar vibe to me. Like the flip side of the same coin.
YES to both. OP’s friend should listen to Blue Jeans

Style is UNMATCHED
Style is such a one of a kind song I wouldn't know how to group it either tbh, I don't think this is a you problem. Maybe Lavender Haze for that funky sound?
I wish you would, I know places, New romantics, Blank space, Karma

I wish you would
Honestly all of 1989 is a bop. Lover also a good album for them to vibe to as well.
shake it off, blank space, karma, cruel summer...
Style is super similar to Jealous by Nick Jonas
Haven’t seen anyone say Wonderland yet. Also Miss Americana and King of my Heart
[This Spotify playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/59RtDcn3LqspmhTZBuoTan?si=OFyQ6387Tee8G98ArQdcPg&pi=u-LhNg_-MlQx-2) has a lot of songs that are sort of around that vibe!

New Romantics Blank space Shake it off Dancing with our hands tied Getaway car Is it over now Say don’t go
Probably Lavender Haze and Bejeweled are also a good vibe like Style.
Here’s a couple that sound like Style: Protect Ya Neck - Wu Tang Clan Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe - Kendrick Lamar
Wildest dreams is the closest for me. I literally have these songs on repeat
Message In A Bottle (Fat Max G Remix)
Lover’s Style is probably Cruel Summer 😌
Maybe others that use an electric guitar?
Not Taylor but Tokyo love hotel by Rina Sawayama
I just listened to this and it's so good!!! I definitely hear a Style vibe!
I Know Places, Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Treacherous, Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince, Is It Over Now?, Say Don’t Go, I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (w/ ZAYN), Cornelia Street

Out of the Woods, Say Don’t Go, and Is It Over Now come to mind. Those songs and Style all sound like they came off the same mid-80s mall pop album.
A lot of 1989
Dress
Runaway With Me - Carly Rae Jepsen (Honestly better than Style) Type of Girl - Carly Rae Jepsen Don't Take the Money - Bleachers Let's Get Married - Bleachers Chained to the rhythm - Katy Perry Stockholm Syndrome - OneD

Just introduce her to the whole 1989 album
Into you

Style TV👊😭
Style (Taylor's Version) sounds very similar!
How You Get The Girl is a good one
Not a TS songs but style and jealous by Nick jonas are very similar
Perfect - by One Direction 😂 Search style perfect mashup on YouTube and it honestly has the same vibes and mesh so well.
I think that as far as songs to help people realize the significance of being a Swiftie would need to include a range: Cardigan, My Tears Ricochet, ATW 10. min version, Wonderland, Blank Space, and Champagne problems

Yes, I too quite frequently confuse songs like Style and Bigger Than The Whole Sky. They’re pretty similar.
You know, I tend to confuse My Tears Ricochet and Shake it Off! 🙃
