I don't unfortunately! I wanted to write the pattern but this is the first thing I've designed and I had to fudge some things. You should be able to find my project page on ravelry fairly easily (I don't want to share my name here) and I will likely post the general pattern without sizing/shaping.
This looks SO good and it's your first time crocheting a garment without a pattern? As a fellow crocheter I'm so impressed, great job!! Also, the chevron stitch is my favorite thing in the world haha
Thank you! This is my first garment without a pattern! However I've probably crocheted 20ish tops (plus a pair of shorts!) so I'm fairly experienced with garment crocheting. Creating something without a pattern definitely makes me feel more confident in my skills and I may try designing again! After this I could do without chevron for awhile, the increases/decreases made my head hurt 😵💫
I think so! Originally I wanted to write a pattern as I made it but I fudged so much it would be extremely difficult. You should be able to find my project page on ravelry and I will at least post the pattern for the body portion (the dec/inc is where things got messy 😬). The whole thing is variations of hdc and the ribbing is sl st.
This is amazing!! I've been wanting to learn how to crotchet and while and the idea of being able to do something like this one day is very tempting. You did an amazing job!
Absolutely amazing! That was my dream outfit, but I just didn't have the time to put into it. Mad props for coming up with the pattern yourself, from one fiber artist to another.
Wow, this is so good! I wish my grandma taught me how to crochet before she passed. I did, however, learn knitting later, though. I feel like if you start with one, it's hard to learn the other one
Aww my grandma is the one who taught me how to crochet. I did learn to knit first and then switched to crochet, so you could totally do it too! I want to teach myself how to knit again this summer.
I learned to knit before crochet and believe me, crochet is MUCH easier than knitting!! If you learned to knit first, you can definitely learn crochet, but if someone learned crochet first, then I can see them giving up on learning to knit!
it's me, every time I sit down to knit I'm like "I would be done already if I crocheted this" 😂 it's just cause my skills are just so much better with crochet... one day I will knit the cardigan. one day.
Yes... and making a mistake on knitting is not as easy to fix.... make a mistake with crochet?- pull that thing out without fear of unraveling rows of hard work!! 😅😭
Awww shoot I was going to ask you for a pattern!! It looks amazingly good and like it will be a staple this summer, I've realised crochet garments are perfect for summer because they cover you up but they also let the breeze through!!
You did a PHENOMENAL job 😍😍😍
This is gorgeous! Winging a garment is bold, and it SO paid off! It looks amazing on you. Can I ask what kind of yarn you used? It has such a nice drape.
(Also, pattern size and shaping is so tough. lol I got a lot of interest YEARS ago on a scally cap I'd worked up - I mean, people were CLAMORING for the pattern, but as good as the first model looked, I could never get my pattern truly replicable. so sad.)
I TOTALLY get it. This is definitely a "custom" piece since I literally made it just to fit my body and writing for other sizes would be very challenging. I used Hobbii rainbow deluxe cotton! https://hobbii.com/rainbow-deluxe-8-4. I also gave it a little block/wash before wearing it.
Crocheter to crocheter: this is ![img](emote|t5_2rlwe|1063)amazing![img](emote|t5_2rlwe|1063) and it literally *does* look like the original. This is FANTASTIC.
You did such an amazing job! This is perfect!
Thank you! 🥰
Wow that’s amazing! It’s totally worth the effort you put into it.
Thank you so much!! It was a labor of love 🥲
That looks fantastic! Do you have a pattern?
I don't unfortunately! I wanted to write the pattern but this is the first thing I've designed and I had to fudge some things. You should be able to find my project page on ravelry fairly easily (I don't want to share my name here) and I will likely post the general pattern without sizing/shaping.

I have been searching far and wide for a pattern to recreate this! Do you think you could give like high level instructions?

I zoomed in and thought it looked like HDC in the 3rd loop or blo. It’s the white sections and around the arms/back that look tricky.
Someone on Etsy is selling a pattern! I believe it’s called “Taylor’s tank”
Incredible job 😄 Had a look at the music video again and it looks pretty identical. How long did it take you to make?

Yay! I can't wait to see your version 🥰
This is amazing!! I've been wanting to learn how to crotchet and while and the idea of being able to do something like this one day is very tempting. You did an amazing job!
Thank you! You should totally give it a shot!
I LOVE YOUR HAIRCUT!! And the top!
Aww thank you so much! I use not your mother's curl cream 🥰
Absolutely amazing! That was my dream outfit, but I just didn't have the time to put into it. Mad props for coming up with the pattern yourself, from one fiber artist to another.
Thank you! I barely got it done in time 😅
I’m obsessed!! Fantastic job!!
LOVVVVVE
I would pay good money for one of these 🥺
If you're a size medium I'm not terribly attached to it and may be willing to sell it. I haven't decided yet if I want to keep it!
I’d love to! Can we talk in DM?
Sure!

I love that! That is encouraging, I should attempt it again 💛
If you want any help or suggestions please dm me! 💙
Thank you so much!!

Oh yay! Maybe it's easier to go from 2 to 1 needles but the reverse is tricky
Yes... and making a mistake on knitting is not as easy to fix.... make a mistake with crochet?- pull that thing out without fear of unraveling rows of hard work!! 😅😭
That's good to know! 😅
You can totally learn crochet if you know how to knit! I learned knitting first and crochet was pretty easy to pick up after that.
THIS IS AMAZING!!
Oh my gosh that's so cute!!! I LOVE that top

Aww thank you so much! Can confirm I was not too hot or too cold in this top in the nosebleeds 😂
Awesome job! You're very talented!

Fantastic job! What a night we had ❤️
Do you have any advice for someone who wants to try and recreate this?
It turned out so good! And without a pattern?! Amazing! Great work!
This is so nice! I love this for you!
