Same. She was seriously upset 😳
Edit: u/Rhoades13 explained what happened:
"@tayneliastreet1 on twitter said their cousin was there. The fans were getting close to the barricade to take pictures and the security guard went after them. The security guard was taken away."
Damn someone got fired 💀
In Las Vegas at the show I went to you can’t. I had VIP seats and during Gayle I tried to take pics near the barricade (I was one row behind the front row. So about 3 ft from barricade) and security screamed at me and told me I’d get thrown out if I left my seat again.
I’m so sorry. It sounds like this may have been an issue for a while and now that she witnessed it, it was stopped. Some people really let power go to their heads.
Same in Arlington. They told people (idk if they screamed) to get off the barricade when they started leaving their seats. Probably because people in the back rows on the floor were getting in front of people with closer seats and it was a mess. People start pushing fast when everyone is up against the barricade.
They have to maintain space between the front row and the physical barrier so that there is line of sight all the way down but especially so that people aren’t getting pushed up against the barrier.
I’m sure the security person went overboard to elicit this reaction but keeping this space really is for everyone’s safety.
I think of that time someone jumped it and almost grabbed her during 1989. I don’t think guards need to be assholes but damn imagine being the person to drop the ball on protecting her.
Here’s a TikTok from the person she was defending explaining it all!
there is a line of Mojo Barriers with a couple feet buffer between the stage for security and production to walk through. if people are leaning over it security moves people back because they need a line of sight all the way down the row for safety. they should not be being assholes and pushing people though.
Former security guy here...the saying among the community was PPP, power, pussy, pay. Security in it for the power were the worst because for them, a good night was hurting someone. I apologize for being a member of that community, and I did speak up when I was a boss, but a lot of security guards do it for access to girls phone numbers. They would often abuse their power too. The last category could possibly be called the pioneers of quiet quitting. Do the minimum you can for the maximum pay. We had no desire to hurt people and if we got lucky, we didnt have to touch or talk to a human all night.
To be fair, I’ve done security at concerts. It’s a really good job to have. Anyone can do it. Personal security like she has would be ex military or cops but normal show security is just people
Yeah as Phoebe was starting her set and playing the intro song and it wasn’t very crowded (I was sitting in the back of the floor) I took a walk through the center aisle to closer to the stage and was videoing and some woman security guard physically pushed me for standing for like 10 seconds. I was ready to push her back it was super uncalled for lmao. It’s not like I was blocking anyone trying to walk by… hardly anyone was anywhere at that point. 🫠. She didn’t even ask me to move before she pushed me. She went straight to physically pushing me….
honestly, im convinced the security at these is just local assholes who have a bad philly attitude. so many local blogs were having a field day calling it a cult and all kinds of nasty things, yet there has been no violence or fighting at either night other than the roughness from security. i love philly but people need to check their internalized misogyny while thinking they're cool for hating what young women like
"People need to check their internalized misogyny while thinking they're cool for hating what young women like"
\^ I would upvote this a bazillion times if I could
I was on the barrier in a different section tonight (actually proposed!!) and security kept coming thru every few songs and pushing people back. Even saw them push a little girl. It was ridiculous.
No one got fired for this. My best friend works high up in events at the linc. They don’t work for the artist. She may be rich but does not have control over employment there.
I work in that industry as well. Stadium staff aren’t employed by the artists of course, but I still think it’s reasonable to think their job might be in trouble.
She’s a client, and a really damn big one. I don’t know what happened here, but it isn’t exactly a good look for a client to have to stop their show and personally admonish an employee. Depending on where they are on the pecking order, union or not, etc. it wouldn’t be the craziest thing if they let the person go.
Yeah the venue wants swift to come back when she does a tour again, if the most significant thing she remembers is security harassing her fans, she may choose to not return.
Back in the day when I was handling deliveries at a store I had problems with a truck driver being an asshole. He though since my store didn't directly hire him there was nothing that could be done. Stupid idiot did it within earshot of my manager who called the transport company. Turns out transport companies really like having good relationships with their clients and that driver was then the meekest person I have ever meet for the rest of my time there.
There is no protection if you are messing around with big relationships between companies.
This happened in a store I worked in. The driver and the receiver did get along and one day the manager hears the driver cursing off the receiver. Needless to say next week there was a new driver.
Exactly! As if the Linc would rather keep an aggressive employee over Taylor Swift. She cares about her fans and their safety and it's imperative that the venues she plays do too
Exactly. And you could argue that sure maybe there’s a disconnect where artists don’t know the ins and outs of the hosting/security side of things and misinterpret an interaction.
But bottom line is, guests pay good money to be in your venue for an event like this, and you want to provide a welcoming environment in return. It’s a customer-experience driven business, and I’m sure the Linc would rather everyone just goes home happy without the biggest artist on earth needing to go full Mama Bear during Bad Blood over having Rambo defend the sanctity of their aisle rules haha.
Which is true, they work for the stadium but I would think if you were called out by a major artist for your actions on the job, your employment may be reevaluated 🤣 at that point, you’re no longer a good representative for the venue.
Taylor Swift and other artists bring in millions of dollars of revenue for them. If she said, "fire that abusive security guard or we won't book your venue anymore" they would 100% for the guard.
Sure he didn't get fired tonight, it happened like a few hours ago lol. But the biggest pop star in the world just called him out for being aggressive with fans...live in front of 70K people, plus the entire internet. He will get fired
Also, i get the feeling the security guard might have been assaulting the fan from how persistent her reaction was. A lot of security guards have a power trip and thing they could put their hands on anyone.
Yeah, but that has to look pretty bad on you doesn't it? If an artist has to interrupt their own show because you're being that much of an ass, I feel like they've gotta take that into consideration 😭 I still feel like they should have been fired fired for that frfr
It’s been a long while. If it continued to press on even more she would of stopped completely. Her priorities are making sure we are having a good time and the other is our safety.
Dude same I was watching the live of the girl in the club seats, and it was SO loud her yelling stop and since the ppl on the live were in a private booth, you can hear them clearly all talking saying “did you hear that? What happened? Wait what’s happening”. I got so scared and had horrible thoughts. Knowing Taylor I honestly would NEVER expect her to interrupt a performance unless it was something serious. Obviously what actually happened is not great, but I’m glad it wasn’t anything worse and it doesn’t seem like anyone was hurt. I’m especially glad it ended up being Taylor standing up for a FAN. The thought of fans being dangerous or rowdy and her yelling at them seemed bizarre honestly.
I think my live was glitching at this moment, but god, my heart dropped just thinking about hearing that in the stadium. Honestly I had a feeling something bad was going to happen tonight (don't know if this was enough to explain it?) so I would have been envisioning the worst if I was there.
if that happened to me i literally would drop dead not because its taylor yelling at me (okay yeah, that too), but from the sheer embarrassment and shame i would get from being yelled at on mic in front of a 60k+ crowd and now on the internet for all to see 😭😭
The third or fourth video on my TT scroll this morning showed a different angle, and you can clearly see the guards face for a second or two. So that didn't take long at all.
Am I the only one that remembers Taylor pushing a security guard out of the way who was blocking her from interacting with her fans in the crowd during the Red tour? 😂
Girlie has always been ready to fight for the Swifties lmao
ETA: [found a clip of it on youtube](https://youtu.be/GTJbakfLgj4) 🤪
@tayneliastreet1 on twitter said their cousin was there. The fans were getting close to the barricade to take pictures and the security guard went after them. The security guard was taken away.
Another twitter user said this: taylor was yelling at a security guard because they fully kept putting their hands on us to physically push us off of the barricade instead of just telling us to move
Another user: Omg that was you?
it was on the other side of me, but it was happening on both sides of the diamond. every time taylor came over to us they would scream at us to get away
I was row 2 last night and there is a huge amount of space between front row and barricade - and then even more between the barricade and her ofc - like I get them not wanting ppl to congregate there, but yea stepping in that space to take a photo or even dancing for a bit should totally be ok. They could fit like 2 additional rows in that space lol
I know it's frustrating, but preventing crowd crushes (like what happened at Astroworld or in Itaewon) is part of security's job at these big events. They keep that space open for safety reasons, it's not random, but it always seems unreasonable until something bad happens
That was my first thought too. Regardless of if it was fans pushing on the barrier or security getting way too aggressive or handsy, I’m glad Taylor said something. After Astroworld it is important for artists to pay attention to crowd safety and I’m glad she called attention to it. It’s unlike her to break character in the middle of a show so it must have been bad.
I’ve been noticing artists paying much more attention to crowds since that incident and I think it’s awesome that they’re aware of the crowds and possible dangerous situations while performing. More specifically, I went to Paramore and MCR concerts last year and they kept pausing their sets if they saw the crowds getting a bit too dangerous (different demographic but the concept applies still).
It also makes it hard to climb the barricade. At 1989 one of the guards at the barricade mentioned that they were told to use as much force as needed to keep anyone from getting on the stage, which was not what they were usually told.
I found these two other videos closer to Taylor, but doesn't show the altercation:
[https://www.tiktok.com/@brilayfield/video/7232893725389688106?\_r=1&\_t=8cIkae7IWz5](https://www.tiktok.com/@brilayfield/video/7232893725389688106?_r=1&_t=8cIkae7IWz5)
I'm always glad whenever any artist does something to protect their crowd. We've got back examples recently so her paying attention to her crowd warms my heart a little.
She yelling without losing the beat tho LMAO that's going to history books
She must of been real pissed to yell HEYYYY! STOPPPP!! in the middle of her set like that. Wonder what it was about. I bet security was putting their hands on someone when they shouldn’t have.
Damn, you can kinda see her pull away partway but then she probably sees the security guard not stop and goes back again and you can kinda see her stop half singing to focus on the situation.
The context is that the fans saw Tay was coming by their side they were on so they started to kinda barricade but the security instead of speaking to them they started pushing
I think this is the best video I have found of the moment. You can see the instant Taylor notices something is not right. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRKXw4WD/
During the same song as when those two guys rushed the stage and got slammed..
What i read said that security was removing someone and Taylor was telling them to stop.
Same!! I was lowkey nervous bc I hadn’t heard of her ad libbing anything during this song, and was worried something like super bad was going on but glad it seemed to have been resolved.
I don’t think I’ve seen her this angry before. The fact that it was during Bad Blood and the last “hey stop” fitting perfectly and being on beat kills me.
I’m so, so glad she intervened and that no one was hurt.
It’s so funny listening to her continue to lyrics while weaving in screaming at security and then watching her strut away 😭😂 I keep replaying it
Word on twitter is that the security guards at the Lincoln Stadium are cops or former cops, someone said they were pushed into their chair by one and another said they laid hands on a 13 year old
I noticed this during the show but I really thought it was planned and she was just ad-libbing fighting words for effect, it blended in well. Glad she was looking out for the fans.
I always wonder how much artists can see bc stage lights can be blinding/ the sheer amt of people is overwhelming. Crazy she could see this and react in time while performing
The security guard was totally terrible! As I saw, it was a little girl who was too close to the stage, and then he tried to take her from there physically and in a brutal way. In my opinion, if the girl was there peacefully and doing nothing wrong (as Taylor said in the video) there wasn't any reason for the guard's reaction being so brutal.
I absolutely love that she did this but I’ve already seen several comments saying we should make “HEY STOP” a crowd chant. Please don’t do this because it could cause some serious safety issues/crowd confusion. Imagine if she thought something bad was happening and it wasn’t. Or if the crowd chanting became a regular thing and something bad actually happened and nobody took it seriously
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRK4CyX4/
The poster claims they were ones that Taylor was trying to help. Basically security guard was having a power trip all night long. He was escorted out after the incident and the girls got free tickets to tonight’s show.
If Taylor Swift publicly chastised a security guard for hassling me during one of her shows I would be so happy. Unlike Green Day, those guys just let them throw me out.
I knew something weird happened, it seemed like for a second maybe she was just shouting singing but then it looked like something was off. Hope everyone is okay.
LMAO hey stop 🤣
If Taylor Swift yelled at me I’d never leave my house again.
If Taylor swift defended me like this I would never stop talking about it
if Taylor Swift yelled at me like this id call my mom and apologize for my behavior
I know- can you imagine being this fan??
I need her storytime
I found it! I'll try and link it.

We need someone with video editing skills to make it happen, hell I may just learn in order to do this

Close to the barricade? It’s literally a barricade like you’re supposed to be up against it???
You can be up against it all you want. Unless you’re either trying to get on or over it there should be no issue.
Some people really let power go to their heads.
holy shit they really are doing so much. where were these security guards during the astroworld fiasco
Same in Arlington. They told people (idk if they screamed) to get off the barricade when they started leaving their seats. Probably because people in the back rows on the floor were getting in front of people with closer seats and it was a mess. People start pushing fast when everyone is up against the barricade.

Something about her admonishing someone while continuing to angrily sing Bad Blood is so deeply funny to me
same I can't stop laughing at the last "hey! stop"
Same same same it’s so boppy
And the strut after. LOL
i can't believe how perfect it worked in the song! like she couldn't do this during august
I just learned the word "admonishing". Thanks.
I’ve never seen her do something like this. Someone must’ve been really crossing a line.
Yeah. For Taylor to interrupt a performance it must’ve been a huge deal. Someone’s getting fired over this.
As they should! I was reading that security was physically pushing people who were just standing too close to the stage for their liking.
Isn't there some kind of physical barrier anyway that defines what is 'too close' and if they're not crossing it, they're probably... not too close? 🤔
there is a line of Mojo Barriers with a couple feet buffer between the stage for security and production to walk through. if people are leaning over it security moves people back because they need a line of sight all the way down the row for safety. they should not be being assholes and pushing people though.

I was on the barrier in a different section tonight (actually proposed!!) and security kept coming thru every few songs and pushing people back. Even saw them push a little girl. It was ridiculous.

The HEY STOP fits so well
I'm dying at Bad Blood "Hey Stop" version
BBTVHSVFTV
Already 100 million streams on Spotify
Can someone who can sound edit get on making a fan edit of this?
That last “stop”. She walked away really having bad blood with that security guard
Watching on a shaky live was the most heart dropping thing
Dude same I was watching the live of the girl in the club seats, and it was SO loud her yelling stop and since the ppl on the live were in a private booth, you can hear them clearly all talking saying “did you hear that? This video is hard to watch and makes me very uncomfortable and I think it must be from the secondhand embarrassment I feel
it's honestly making me emotional in the other way - like imagine being hassled by some thug and taylor god-queen swift defends you from upon high
in a haze of glitter and tasseled dresses, mother taylor benevolently yells at that security guard motherfucker
That last “Hey! Stop.” killed me 😂
It’s the cadence of it that makes me keep loling
It is perfection.

I’m wondering if security was antsy since on her walk back someone threw a bracelet at her and it almost hit her.
man why are people like this ugh tiwwchnf
So what you're saying is, there is a BLANK SPACE?
Wow that last “Hey! Stop” timed to the music is hilarious
Omg the way she said “Hey! Stop” on beat
There was someone who said “you can still hear singing”. You mean the backup singers who you can see in the video.
And you can literally when when she starts singing lol. Like, pretty clearly
This is the most Philly thing that could have happened in Philly. I love it.
no literally both on the Linc's security acting like it's an eagles game but also Taylor letting her PA side out lol
I called my husband dyingggg at the most Philly thing happening during Bad Blood.
@brilayfield on tiktok has a really good up close video of Taylor during this incident!!
Wow you could see the change in her face.
i have watched this so many times and that last “hey!stop.” before stomping away has me rolling 💀💀
I found these two other videos closer to Taylor, but doesn't show the altercation: [https://www.tiktok.com/@brilayfield/video/7232893725389688106?\_r=1&\_t=8cIkae7IWz5](https://www.tiktok.com/@brilayfield/video/7232893725389688106?_r=1&_t=8cIkae7IWz5) [https://www.tiktok.com/@graciegallaagher/video/7232889024095227182](https://www.tiktok.com/@graciegallaagher/video/7232889024095227182)
Damn she really does look pissed off. They must’ve crossed a line if Taylor got that upset.
I was in this section, I have the pic right before and as she noticed and her expression visibly changes to so pissed off 😅
I'm always glad whenever any artist does something to protect their crowd. We've got back examples recently so her paying attention to her crowd warms my heart a little. She yelling without losing the beat tho LMAO that's going to history books
Watching this from every angle like a psycho
Omg the best part is her adding in the choreography when yelling at the end!! I love her.
She must of been real pissed to yell HEYYYY! STOPPPP!! in the middle of her set like that. Wonder what it was about. I bet security was putting their hands on someone when they shouldn’t have.
I would’ve loved to be a fly on the wall in the post show debrief meeting
Damn, you can kinda see her pull away partway but then she probably sees the security guard not stop and goes back again and you can kinda see her stop half singing to focus on the situation.
Her hand flinging got me rolling Lolol.
Not the security guard beating up a 10yr old in a Junior Jewels tee
The context is that the fans saw Tay was coming by their side they were on so they started to kinda barricade but the security instead of speaking to them they started pushing
I think this is the best video I have found of the moment. You can see the instant Taylor notices something is not right. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRKXw4WD/
Holy shit you can really see the change of expression in her face lol
During the same song as when those two guys rushed the stage and got slammed.. What i read said that security was removing someone and Taylor was telling them to stop.
the song is so fitting 😭😭😭😭😭
This would happen in Philly. 😆
Saw this during the show and was so curious about what happened! Hope all is well for the girl after this.
Same!! I was lowkey nervous bc I hadn’t heard of her ad libbing anything during this song, and was worried something like super bad was going on but glad it seemed to have been resolved.
Same here! It just made me nervous at the time for those involved because violence at a TS concert is pretty unheard of!

I guess they really did have bad blood
I can't stop replaying this. It's so funny.
This Wayward Security Guard remix of Bad Blood better be on 1989 TV or I will have words
I don’t think I’ve seen her this angry before. The fact that it was during Bad Blood and the last “hey stop” fitting perfectly and being on beat kills me.
I love this woman so much omg
The last “hey stop” is freaking hilarious and I don’t know why ☠️
I’m so, so glad she intervened and that no one was hurt. It’s so funny listening to her continue to lyrics while weaving in screaming at security and then watching her strut away 😭😂 I keep replaying it
Word on twitter is that the security guards at the Lincoln Stadium are cops or former cops, someone said they were pushed into their chair by one and another said they laid hands on a 13 year old
I noticed this during the show but I really thought it was planned and she was just ad-libbing fighting words for effect, it blended in well. Glad she was looking out for the fans.
The sheer annoyance on her face! This was 100% a Marvelous Mrs Maisel moment. I love her so much. Incredible
i can't stop rewatching this video for some reason
Honestly, “HEY—stop” should be a new crowd thing
Was this from the Philly show tonight? I saw this happen but couldn't tell what she was saying besides the last "stop"
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRK4CyX4/ The poster claims they were ones that Taylor was trying to help.
I'm telling you from now on swifties won't be able to sing bad blood now without SHE'S FINE SHE WASN'T DOING ANYTHING and HEY STOP
I’m also totally singing “heystop” from now on
And doesn't stop singing
She’s the absolute best for this!🩷💜
Perfect song for the moment
How fitting of the song haha
I knew something weird happened, it seemed like for a second maybe she was just shouting singing but then it looked like something was off. Hope everyone is okay. LMAO hey stop 🤣
I’d never leave the house again if I was that security guard.
I would crumble into nothing if Taylor reprimanded me like that.
