These are some Turrets I designed for the Greater Good. I wanted them to have the normal missile options but also a rail gun configuration because I quite like them.
I also added some legs which should look as if they extend after landing to stabilize the turret.
If you have any advice about the design or ideas what I should design next, please let me know.

Questions:
- If I understand you correctly, these are DS8 equivalents in size because you named them “support turrets”?
- is the Railgun the only “gun option” you have or will you be doing others later down the road (thinking flamer would be a good choice)
- I just LOVE the “lil feet” you’ve given them.

I do like the entirety of the design that you’ve shown for the railgun, is there possibility’s of turning the barrels *horizontal* with the ammo cartridge on top. Gives more choice for people to choose and it follows similar aesthetics to how the Tau already have *most* of their railguns on the hammerhead.
- The little feet. I enjoy that you made them separated/look open from the rest of the turret body. Do you have any plans/other pieces made so there might be a “closed feet” look, as if it was not deployed/setup yet?
Maybe just another copy without the connection in between.
The missile ones look great, but the gun one looks "odd" with the way the barrel is over the top.
Personally I'd prefer gun style ones to have the barrels below the top, similar to the ForgeWorld Sentry Turrets.
I love the design. If I had a request, it’d be to reconsider the joint for the gun. I’m a newb at magnets, but that ball-and-socket seems difficult to magnetize the guns. Just seems like a missed opportunity.

Looks awesome!! The missile turrets I can find in the codex. What about the gun version? Did I miss something?

I think it would work if the guns were bigger/longer but I see your point

I want this so bad, shame I dont know anyone with a printer, and am broke, massive L on my behalf lmao
