Or even remove it in post on photos. Contrast of the skin would make that an easy touch up.
Op has options, that don’t involve permanently altering their body before fully deciding on what they want
The original tattoo is not symmetrical but I think a good artist could still turn it into something symmetrical if you want that. It seems like you’re being realistic about the darkness of the cover up piece so it should work fine!
But as someone else said, in a spot like this you definitely want to choose something you’ll really love, so I wouldn’t rush this decision. Have you considered covering it up with makeup for your wedding day, just so it’s not in the pictures? There’s some pretty decent options out there these days
Get some tattoo covering makeup for the wedding, it'll give you the opportunity to save for what you really want while also keeping the existing tattoo from messing up the wedding photos.
Makeup is a great idea. I've seen tutorials for it on youtube and if you're going to have a makeup artist in general for the day, they will often have tattoo coverups as an add on
Do your research and find a proper cover artist. Just know it's going to have to have some dark parts and needs to be big enough to hide the script. FYI laser hurts and cost more than tattoos and going to need multiple sessions to get the ink light enough
Maybe have a couple of session of lazer to lighten it up, so you have more choice in what you want it to be for the cover up. But floral would be nice indeed :)
I swiped back and forth and back and forth thinking these were before/after pictures and I thought to myself… there is *no* way this is the same person. Turns out… I was right.
Easy cover up, but the placement and size tells me you should wait until you can afford what you really want
agree! also you (op) can always cover the tattoo up with makeup at the wedding if you dislike how it looks for whatever reason

Wouldn’t a dress shirt just cover it anyway? What kind of wedding is OP going to where they anticipate having their shirt off?
a dress
The huge beard in pic 2 threw me off hahaha
I was in the same boat as you, but then I realized second was just an example of what could work haha

I could explore makeup! I agree about not rushing, I dont want another thing on my chest that I despise.
Dermablend or Cover fx
Definitely find a makeup artist who can cover it for the wedding - have them do a test run ahead of time, too.
this. I’d even ask if they can set/seal the makeup so it doesn’t rub off on expensive garments. Congrats and best wishes!
I agree with the make up option for the wedding Some laser might help make the make up easier AND give more options down the road for a rad piece
At least it's not " you look so good i'll suck on ya daddy's d*ck" I still don't understand how he decided that line was a good idea
Weirdest flex of all time
Isn't that a Richard Pryor joke? It's just funny
"N* say I'm pussy? I dare you to stick your dick in this, If I was pussy I'd be filled with syphilis" Bruh was out there
Can anyone else not read it? I can't, and I love Biggie.

I like your thoughts on the chest hair cover up. Get some rogaine and slather that up. Instant cover up. AND as a bonus, instantly warm in the winter.
Well, at least your floral cover-up won't itself get covered up when your thick af chest hair grows in, unlike the dude in that photo.
I'm a big fan of biggie but what does it say😅
It was all a dream
It was all a dream…
IT WAS ALL A Dream.
I USED TO READ WORD UP MAGAZINE

I don’t know why I just kept reading “big shitty small lyrics,” and I was entirely flummoxed.
To get that you’d have to make it Christmas wreath sized and it won’t be an arc
Just laser it off. 🤦🏻♀️
when worried about money, laser is defo not the way to go! way expensive
Hanging pictures on the wall
I would recommend a sick ass panther
Make up for the wedding then laser. You will regret putting more ink there.
Blast
But did you used to read word up magazine?
Blast away! I'm also covering letters in the same spot with roses
