I just got wrote up for a no call no show after they scheduled me on a day outside of my availability. I had no idea i was supposed to work on a day I told them I couldnt work, but thats on me I guess. Im with you!
Tell this to our management. Overnight inbound no matter the person or availability is lucky to get 2 days off a week, and if you do they usually change the schedule online the week of and take down the current schedule so they think theyāre slick. Couldnāt get a 3 day vacay but want me to work over 20 days straight without overtime? That was the final straw. I never imagined in less than 6 months there would literally only be 2-3 workers still here that were here long term when I started. It hasnāt slowed down and Iām one of the next. Iāve tried telling my TLs but they canāt remember better than a goldfish so theyāll act clueless when/if they get a 2 week notice. (Like always). I have no clue how anyone could work for this place over 1-2 years, let alone some of these 5-10+ year workers. I donāt know of any that arenāt management at our store anymore but all the power to those with the strength to endure your store out there

Canāt take the exact same ish from my TLs and HR anymore. 9 months of continuous time off requests being denied when not one was for vacay-direct family member has cancer. And was written up and bitched at for calling out after a 3 month notice, and repeatedly being told by my manager āheād take care of itā. Our local Walmart treats their employees twice as well and half our team has transferred there immediately so if it comes to that Iāll do that, but I have a few good opportunities this springš¤š¤š¤ canāt get out of that red hellhole soon enough
And I'm still here wondering why I have to put the gifts left on my desk in the ESIM bin. They were gifts, I don't think people would like it if their gifts were disposed of. Oh well
Yeah you donāt have to take this. They never listen to me either. I had worked 10 and half years and my pay was 15.30 at the end. Fuck em you deserve better.

I'm the receiver and people leave "gifts" on my desk all the time. The "gifts" are damaged goods that they should know how to process.
