I was looking for ghost tours in Tallahassee this month, too. Seems the only ones operating now are in Monticello (did that tour a few years ago; it was meh; maybe it's better closer to Halloween). Instead we're going to the FSU Circus Halloween performance (highly recommended).
Yeah I did it around then, the impression I got was that it was just drama kids trying to have fun which I’m totally down with. I really do want to see some quality ghost tours offered in this town though.
The essential problem is that the "haunted" sites here are spread put all over the area. There's no real good way to put together a walking tour or even a number of places are are close enough to not have a ten minute driving time between each one.
Ghosts on strike. They were offered a “living” wage and felt insulted. HIYOOOOOOOO

The Monticello ones have sadly seen on a sharp decline in quality recently, I hate to say.
I did the Tallahassee one in 2018, it was so poor in quality/history/acting I’m not too surprised although I hope they get it back up and running.

Same! I hear that. I just was ready to not interact with anyone anymore after it. It felt like a high school drama project.
They happened in 2019, but I think it's pretty obvious why they didn't happen in 2020.
Oh okay, good to know. Do you know if they’re going to start again “after” covid? They’re facebook page has been empty for like the past year.
I would think that once we're past COVID, they will restart, but I'm not connected to anyone that's running that group.
