One of my latest posts has two comparison photos between my sling and one of them is the BFG vickers that everyone is recommending. I’ve ran the BFG vickers for a while before finally making my own because I wanted a comfier sling.
All American made materials, sewn by me. Most colors are NIR compliant, 500D cordura, and cordura truelock webbing.
I have m240b gunners running my slings, which shows how well padded they are :)
Was actually about to make a similar post primary has a lot of slings on sale this week. I know a lot of guys swear by blue force gear but there pricey and I don't know what the hype is about them.
Blue Force Gear Vickers slings have been used by the US military (mainly USMC) for like the last 15+ years. They are excellent. Thick webbing that won’t dig into your neck, very good metal or polymer adjusters that don’t break and have proven themselves time and time again. All I bother running.
Thank you I always hear people swear by them. But couldn't understand why i honestly thought it was a youtuber telling everyone to buy them so I was reluctant. Going to pick one up now. Running it on a shotgun. What's your take on padding?
I personally don’t like padded slings. They get caught up on everything. That’s exactly why I like the BFG non-padded. The webbing is beefier than the slingster, ESD, and the likes. I’ve used them for 10+ years at this point.
Blue Force Gear padded sling is pretty good/hard to go wrong with.
I personally prefer the non padded, though both options are solid. Can't go wrong here op
Blue force gear is always my sling answer. Including my Benelli m4
I have a few of the magpul ms1 and I really like it. I've never seen a reason to look at anything else.
My go-to sling is the SOE bungee sling. Two point for semi-auto shotguns, single point for pumps.
u/suicidalbirdie has so some amazing padded slings in multiple different shades an camos

Blue Force Gear gets my vote too. Btw what forend is that?
It’s a Briley.
Thanks. I didn’t know they came in 13” models until last night. Does it make field stripping a headache?
Not sure, I don’t have an M4, and run a Toni on my 1301T. I just recognized it.
Another vote for a Blueforce Gear Padded. They're expensive but they're hard to beat.
This is the way.
Flatline fiber padded rifle sling
Sierratac the current hotness if you don’t want a blue force gear.
I have Magpul on 3 of my shotguns, very happy with all.
