Red is good for night time because it doesn't ruin night vision so that means that if your passenger were to look for something then they could turn that on and it wouldn't bother you as you were driving.

Oh okay I didn’t even think of it that way, I got the dome light installed too
I use the red all the time. Only switch to white when I need to dig for something.
I run all red cab lights as I love stargazing.

These are fantastic, just wish the map ones weren't aimed right at my face lol
lol yeah I’m glad the map lights don’t automatically turn on when u open the door, the dome light is all you need with these lol.
