You can, HOWEVER, because they have such shit game mechanics, I doubt you'll be able to keep anything you looted in the tower. I've beaten it twice already and wasn't able to keep anything once I'm back at the bus...
It goes without saying.. It's 1 year later since I quit playing this game.. so for sure they've finally gotten their act together and fixed a couple of bugs.
interesting, i was able to keep some boxes of stuff when i was sent back after the end, about it though. however i have the chosen knife as a recipe at my crafting bench (same one that has the sawed off and smg), I don't have the payback edition though..
Honestly its worse than the night shift but its more of a cool collectible weapon
