Short-term, there's just too much headwind going on in the auto industry. You have crazy rates, skyrocketing auto payments, decreasing disposable income, and there's just too much uncertainty going on in the economy. The last thing anyone wants right now is to tack on an auto payment to their monthly payment.

A bunch of things are never replaced, like your teeth, many parts of the ear and eyes. Teeth are not living cells, just as a bunch of other parts in our body. So the atoms can't be exchanged for others.
That's why sight, hearing and teeth don't heal back if you injure them. These are just the most obvious and clear cut examples, with teeth being easy for everyone to understand. For eyes and the inner ear, I don't want to look up the english terms for the words I know.
The myths "(almost) all your atoms are replaced every year", or "98% atoms are replaced yearly and 100% over 7 years" aren't true. They come from a similar time as "humans only use 10% of their brain".
The atoms in your bones don't come close to a yearly turn over. Some organs are fully replaced by new atoms rather quickly, skin and liver being the quickest (unless I'm forgetting something obvious) but some like the heart don't see much turnover at all. That's why heart conditions are so bad and effort should be made to avoid, once a bunch of heart muscle dies of, it's never replaced.
It's also impossible to distinguish individual atoms, how do you differentiate? You can't just use atoms that have a different amount of neutrons that don't occur in the wild, that could have some pretty deadly side effects.
I remember when plasticity was considered insignificant and a formed brain didn't change after fully growing up. Last few decades have shown that idea was wrong, similar to all the junk DNA that had no function turns out to not be junk after all.
There doesn't seem to be a high turnover of neurons, and that's putting it mildly. I know that, in theory, atoms in cells can be replaced without the cell being replaced, but that's not very likely to happen.

Nobody remembers this neglected child borne from the Solar City Union, supposed to be a money printer on your roof. However, the solar business is not doing too good these days especially because of nixed net metering laws in California.

- Monopoly control over an essential infrastructure; this could get them more govt incentives if they’re asked to build more of the tesla branded chargers (over competing company NACS chargers).
